[[Lawls. xD]] Dan had been in a good mood the rest of the night, and had gone on a late-night flight over the forest, too. It'd been fun, and he was feeling full of life the next day.
He had his first class with Ashley, and had spent that class drawing dragons in his books and not looking at her, in case she was watching him, for whatever reason.
As the bell rang, though, he was delighted, and quickly picked up his books, heading to his next class with a soft smile on his face.
He had the next class with Paradise, after all.
What could be better than that?

Was it bad that I was actually searching for Dan in the hallway as I headed down to my second period, just to get a glimpse? I kept thinking it was normal, but at the same time, thought it was a bit much. As I came into the classroom, and sat where I was assigned, I watched in anticipation at the door. Alright. Now it's overboard. Too keep myself from looking out anymore, I started getting ready for class by getting out the right utensils and paper plus keeping my eyes down. Anything not too look so anxious at the door.

Dan wandered in the door, daydreaming a little, but making himself pay attention to what was going on around him before he walked into somebody again.
He saw Paradise sitting down, and walked over to where she was, sliding into the seat next to her. He wasn't sure if it was where he was supposed to sit, but didn't really give a damn either way.
Pulling out his books, he looked over to her, grinning.
''Wanna work on that project thing today after school? I wanna get it done before it gets too late.'' Even as he said that, he couldn't help but think he wished it was never done. He'd promised himself that when it was done, he'd stop being Paradise's friend for good, before things went any further. No matter what, that was how things had to be.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

The second Dan sat down next to her, a bright smile came on her face. Oh she couldn't help that he made her day as easily as just sitting next to her. "Oh, yeah, that'd be great. Is there anything I need to bring?" The project board was optional - extra credit. But, Paradise wouldn't mind doing it if it meant more time to spend at Dan's house.

Dan shook his head, smiling warmly at her.
''Nah, I have a load of crap at my house we can use.'' He laughed, not able to remember the last time he'd used any of that 'crap'.
Just as he finished speaking, the teacher walked in. Dan hadn't seen her before, but he thought she looked pretty snarky. Probably best to stay on her good side.

I avoided Ashley the rest of the day. If she knew of my plans, I knew she'd try to talk to Dan more. Just to get closer to him then I was. After school, I walked outside and waited for Dan to come out the doors as well. I was trying my best to believe that we were just two friends, two partners doing this project. But... But my mind couldn't stop wrapping around the fact that any time he was around, my mood brightened. I smiled just thinking about it, before looking back at the doors.

Dan walked out of the doors, glancing around to see if he could see Paradise yet. When he saw her, he grinned, and walked over to her.
''Hey. You all good to go?'' He'd spent the entire day thinking about her, but this time, it hadn't been worry about whether she hated him or not.
It was worry on how he'd be able to cope after he had to make her hate him.

I grinned back at Dan as he came closer.
"All set."
I said before turning my feet to go in the direction of his house. "You know, out of all the animals for this project, we really should have gotten birds. With you as my partner, we could have an A for this project, hands down..."
I complained, rolling my eyes in a irritated fashion.

He shrugged, glancing up. For once, it actually seemed like a nice day.

[[Lol, it's grand. xD]] Dan laughed, walking inside after her and closing the door behind them. Paradise was different, that was for sure. Oh well. He liked 'different'.
Walking into the living room, he turned on the TV on the animal channel again, nodding towards the couch.
''Sit down a minute, I'll be right back. I'm just going to get the stuff.''
He walked over to the ladder and climbed up it, crouching on the floor and looking under his bed. Pulling out a fair-sized cardboard box, he awkwardly picked it up, before heading over to the ladder again and making his way down it.
