Jack sputtered, jumping up high from the dunk. "Hey!" He laughed, swimming over to her. He dived deep, so deep he could barely see her. Suddenly he lunged up like a shark, attacking her from below. |

Kya was laughing and screaming as she felt herself be dragged under the water. She dove down and hugged him. She sat there, laughing underwater hugging him. She wasn't sure why, but at that moment it felt right.

Jack laughed too, bringing them both back to the surface. He pointed to her attaching her to him, laughing as he said, "Are you always this friendly?"

Kya smiled in silence for a bit, thinking, then said, "No. I'm not. I'm usually shy, and i don't get to know anyone long enough to get this friendly. You know, I'm graduated out of high school, but I've never had a boyfriend.... Kinda sad really..." She loosened her hold, starting to let go.

Kya smiled, saying, "Oh, I've been asked out before. I just don't like dating a guy i don't know. And I just don't like getting to know the guys well enough. She jumped out of the water as well, sitting next to Jack. Then she stared at his towel, realizing she hadn't gotten one.

Kya frowned, saying, "I don't wanna go in a car.... I wanna walk. Come with me if you like." She got up and dried herself off. She pulled on her shorts and tank top, then slipped on her flip flops. She took out her cell from the pockets, then looked up and smiled, saying, "Today I'm 18"

Kya seemed to be in a daze, then suddenly she felt a sudden surge of anger. She didn't know why, but she felt like tearing something, destroying, killing, anything to get rid of the anger! She started to run, not noticing her shoes flying off or Jack behind her. She flew by her house, seeing it go out of the corner of her eye. But she kept running. She stopped when she felt the anger had stopped eating at her. But she stopped on four feet, on two. She was seeing the world in a new view.... a deer was several yards away, but she didn't know how she could tell. She licked her teeth, shocked to feel long fangs. She walked in circles, scared of what had happened to her. She found a puddle and looked in it. Looking back was a silver she-wolf with stunning blue eyes. She let out a shocked yell, but it came out a yelp. She started to howl in fear and agony.

Jack yelled, runnig after her. He skidded to a stop next to her, sympathy in his eyes. "Kya? Kya, look at me. Look at ME!" He yelled, grabbing her by her muzle. He looked into her eyes, anger in his heart. "You didn't know, did you?" |
