Syra found nothing decent in the pantry, but instead found an apple in the fruitbowl on the table. She bit into it, leaning against a wall. "So" she said pausing eating. "what should we do while the others are out?"

"We're almost there" Ukamundo said. "We get a shuttle to Earth and then we head to Midnight's house"

Ukamundo drove into the parking lot and stopped the car. "I'll just commander a shutlle, it'll be so much faster" he said, eyeing up a nearby vessel on the airfield. He opened his door and exited the car.

Ukamundo pulled out an identification paper as he went, showing it to the pilot near the shuttle when he got to it. the pilot reluctantly stepped aside while Ukamundo got aboard the shuttle, priming the engines.
