(oh brother XD) He nod without saying anything. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her closer to him. He didn't know why, but he liked her too, just like Atsuki.

She smiled and closed her eyes. She knew they were two different people, so it would be hard on her just to like one. She liked both, even if one was a jack ass.Seconds latter, her eyes shot open and she held her breath. She let a cuss word slip out of her mouth and she looked at her ankle. Without warning, already, a rattler had struck her ankle. She must not of herd the rattling of it's tail. She looked down and all the sudden stiffened up when she saw it, in a striking position, ready t bite again.

He felt her stiffen and slowly sat up. He saw the rattler and glared. "The *censored*." He growled darkly, moving so fast that he grabbed it by the neck before it could do anything. He killed it and tossed it aside. He then knelt next to Spirit and laid a hand on her ankle. He closed his eyes once more, and used a little bit more of his life force to heal her. He then took the poison into his body, again, not showing any signs of him doing so. He had years of practice.

She looked at him, and knew what he had done, some way, she knew, he wasn't any ordinary human. "I-It's doesn't affect you?" she asked.

He said nothing, only sighed and closed his eyes, forcing himself to relax. He did not fall asleep though. He was still fighting the poison that was still coursing through his body, but how he wanted sleep. Especially after using his life energy to heal spirit and her horse.

He listened to her slow breathing as she slept. His ears easily picking up the sound of her heartbeat. It made the fact that him and Atsuki were truly not alone anymore, and he began to smile.

(^^ i can work with it) He moved from under her and picked her up. He carried her to her horse and carefully placed her on it. He mounted his own and led them back to the mansion. He took her to her room first, laying her in bed, before going back to the stables. His horse took on the form of a regular horse so as not to draw attention. He then put Spirit's horse's tack away then, brushed both horses down and fed them. He then went to his own room and laid down, still fighting the poison and the fatigue.

Latter, she a woke and streched out. She looked around and noticed she was in her room again. "Was it.... A dream?" she muttered to herself and looked around once more. "If so, it was the best dream.." she chuckled to herself once more and stood up. She walked out side and to the room acrossed her's. She saw he was accually their and smiled. "I just thought I'd check on you."

He nodded without a word, the fight draining the little energy he had left. He had used most just healing the two of them, and he still hadn't recovered from when he had healed her horse the day before.
