Haha, yeah I was missing our old rp and Ryu and Rue so I thought that I'd make a banner out of one of the last things I wrote for it. I am pretty sure it died because of the inactivity. I am pretty sure that you were supposed to reply but you were busy with one of your AP tests and Eternity never replied so it kind of died. Ah, I really miss it~
And alrighty! I am super busy tonight with my homework but I will post for Annette tomorrow and we can just go from there. I don't want this rp to die too :(

Draw Rue?! OMG, can't wait!! And thanks, though when I said I made it, I meant that I got it made, by uboa for that fact, haha oops.
Oooo, I would love to do a 1x1 with you! I was actually thinking that I'd really like to do one with you but I didn't know how to bring it up, haha! Anyways, what were you thinking? Something with Rue ans Ryu again or we could continue were we left off on Cruse of the Dryad Queen? Maybe a different variation of the Curse of the Drayad Queen?
On a note of this rp, school gets out in about 15 minutes so I will get Annette up and posted in about a hour or so.
EDIT: Eh, I will have Annette up later this afternoon. Camp Rock is on and I am like "Flashback to Childhood!" so I am gonna watch it... like a dork.

The soft forest floor, fallen pine needles and patches of greenery flattened ever so slightly as the graceful angel walked over them. Dapples of light danced among the shaded forest as small breezes blew the canopy of their coverage. The birds didn't sing up above and wild animals didn't scurry into hiding as the supernatural creatures made their way through the forest. Annette knew that the the animals were frightened of the aura the angels and demons gave off - well two angels, a half demon and a human. There was something about animals that the young angel had always admired. They were more than humans made them out to be. They hunted and gathered food all by themselves, they adapt to the destruction of their habitat, they made their own homes and they could sense when danger was coming. Spectacular, really, animals were - or more like animals that resided on Earth. Animals that came from Hell were said to be fierce and brutal whereas the animals from the Heavens were tranquil and peaceful. Those were what Annette would call simple minded creatures.
As the angel walked she heard a sigh from Prince Skellig that shook her from her, what seemed to be irrelevant, thoughts. She was attentive and not confused when the human-demon spoke. The silence that hung between them after she interrogated him, more or less, allowed Annette to recollect herself. She was getting too excited about her grand plans and she knew that it was vulnerable of her to speak to him in such a way. If she wasn't careful, her plans could be turned on her and she could be the one to loose her powers, possibly payback from Prince Skellig and Prince Ieroe. Focusing on the beautiful part of Earth always seemed to calm her mind or relieve it, and that was exactly what she had done. She needed something to set her mind straight and now that he spoke, her mind was no longer clouded with excitement.
The answers rolled over in her mind as she thought carefully on each of his words, trying to find a solution alone. Silence hung in the air between them, though it wasn't tense but more soothing and calming than anything, well at least for Annette. She wondered which part of her plan they should start to take seriously. The red haired angel provided a fork-in-the-road answer; make a pendulum that will seal their aunts powers or try to make one to take powers from the humans and give it back to the angels. Her answer was biased, so she pondered longer. There were many cases that if something was cut at the roots then the whole thing would die or become undone, but was that true in this case? Many side ideas, questions, plan of actions, and commentary ran around in her mind, though they weren't the focal point of her main thought. A small grunt bubbled from the angel's throat and Annette snapped back to the silence that was lingering between them.
There were times where Annette forgot that the other person couldn't hear her thoughts, and this was one of those times. Multiple thoughts popped into her head and she felt as if she was writing on a white board to an empty class; she started to relay the main ideas and questions to Prince Skellig. I suppose you need your demonic powers to make a stone, huh? The question was more rhetorical than anything else. Prince Skellig said so himself, that only he and Prince Ieroe could make the pendulums, hence demon pendulums. She carried on, Of course you could only make the pendulums in Hell, correct? If so, then how dangerous would it be for you, or us - all of us - to return to make them? Although it would take time, as you have stated, I think it would be worth it if you could make one that would completely destroy your aunts power. That is, if you could make one like that. The angels voice was smooth and calm as it entered Prince Skellig's mind, though there was a hint of a challenge in the last sentence. What do you think, Prince Skellig? Making a stone that would destroy your aunts power? We would have to make a pretty elaborate plan to ensure our safety in the depths of Hell, but I think we could do it. It seemed absurd for an angel to go to the depths of Hell just to get rid of the demon Prince she had sworn to protect.

Skellig continued to walk as the angel was walking since he wasn't in any shape to protect himself and he didn't want to be caught off guard by something trying to attack him or his brother since Ireoe being attacked was worse than having Skellig be attacked. He shuddered at that thought and tried not to let the dark thoughts start taking over his thought process. He really didn't know when they had strayed off from Ieroe and the male angel, but he wasn't paying attentions so he really coulnd't care less at that moment. He bit into his cheek, unsure of what to do until he heard her voice in his head. His thoughts shattered and he looked up at her. He shrugged.
"I don't know how long it would take since it takes up much of our power unless we form into our bigger demon self. But besides that once you open a portal to hell everybody knows where you are. It's rather dangerous. And for a "holy" creature to go into hell is like throwing a rabbit into a pit of starving wolves. It's a bad idea and you'd be immediately attacked. that is, if we are away from you for any amount of time. As for making the one to take away my Aunt's power, i'd literally have to stab her chest with it... that's how you destroy a demon's powers with the stones. otherwise it stores the power in the stoen itself."

Oops, I totally thought I had replied...
BiC;
Do you have a better idea, Einstein? The words slipped from her mind before she had a chance to stop them. The telepathic angel was sure that it entered his mind as if it were an icy wind. Everything. Everything she had suggested to the demon was shot down by his nonchalant attitude. The plans that she hoped he would ponder on weren't even given the time of day, for as soon as they left her mind, his words would pierce the air between them and automatically deem her plan impossible. Annette gave an inaudible sigh as her strides grew a little faster, Is this how you react? Annette started as if her thoughts hadn't slipped up, The demon Princes act all high and mighty when power surges through their veins, ready to annihilate anyone who gets in their way, but when one of them willingly seals their powers, all hope is lost and they use the angels, who are so gratefully helping them, as their crutch. One would think that the foolish angel would have learned her lesson and stop teasing the twin demons, but it seemed as if teasing them was the only way to get action out of the two.
It was strange. Before, when Annette had spoken so bluntly and teasingly towards either of the demon Princes, fear would settle itself in the pit of her stomach, whereas now, there was no fear. The angel didn't like feeling confident towards demons, it seemed like common sense to feel afraid when around them, even if their powers were sealed. Of course, Annette would never reveal the lack of fear towards Prince Skellig. She had already proven to them that she was willing to speak her mind and manipulate them to get a situation she wanted, and look how that turned out. She was helping them, it was a job, nothing else, for Annette knew that with confidence came a surge of comfort and that was not something that she wanted to feel towards the demons. The angel had vowed never to show vulnerability and she kept that in mind as she spoke to Prince Skellig once more, I don't have to help you two, but I am and I promised I would. However, it is hard to when I lack the knowledge that you keep vaulted up. If it wasn't apparent, I know very little about Hell.

Skellig's right eye twitched at her obvious lack of fear in front of him. She even had the gall to mock him for some human man. He had heard of Einstein, but he still hated when people would use that stupid mocking tone of their's when they used that phrase. He hissed and this one came out more as a hiss than the first time he tried it as a human. He really wanted to just shove her into the tree they were passing. His demonic instincts wanted to just kick in but that wasn't going to be possible since his demonic side was basically sealed inside that stone that was now around his wrist. He hissed at her and glared with a burning force that could rival his brother's body temperature. She really was going go get at least a good and demonic tongue lashing from him. Even as a human he could still do that much, right?
"You think you're so high and mighty saying that you're my crutch? MY. CRUTCH." He emphasized those two words with a small pause between them and his voice growing colder with each syllable. "You think that I want to be here? You think that I want to just rely on some 'holy angel' just because i can't defend myself? Do you think this is fun for me?! Do you think you'd even be standing here had I not stopped my brother from slitting your throat back when you so foolishly approached us? Huh? Do you?!" He growled and let his voice drip with a venom that seemed to be able to poison the air around them.
He glared at the rock on his wrist and hissed at it. It was the cause of all this. He could easily take her down if this thing wasn't on his wrist right now. He wouldn't care if the other angels would come to get him as long as he taught this defiant little pest a lesson. He growled and hissed and looked at her with a withering glare, maybe not as effective as he would have liked, but it would suffice for now. "You don't have to help me! I don't need your help and if it wasn't for me, you'd be dead in a pool of your own blood! I would still be a demon and my brother would be just peachy! We would be able to fight off whatever came at us! I WOULDN'T NEED YOU!" He practically yelled at her as he continued to walk, his face a slight reddish color and his breath now coming in pants. He growled and turned around before he kicked a tree, making a few needles rattle off and a little pine cone fall. He panted and wanted nothing more than to claw at this tree. "You think I'm supposed to be grateful.. think again Princess." His voice was deathly low and he started to walk away from her.

Haha! I love Skellig! I love the twins! I love how funny they are! Anyways, I want to let you know that I can probably only post on the weekend. I will try to post during the weekdays but I am usually really busy then.
BiC;
Although the angel's back was towards the demon, she could still feel the burning gaze he gave her as he let out a hiss. The words of the demon bit into her skin and, although he lacked his demonic ice powers, she could hear the coolness and bitterness in his voice. Each word that dripped from his human lips were filled with an uncanny demonic twist. It seemed inevitable that things between them should take a turn for the worst. Never once had the messenger angel heard of a demon and angel working together and helping each other, for the pride of the demon would be too overbearing for the angel and his anger and sense of power would be too unruly.
Annette was lucky that Prince Skellig's powers weren't in his blood stream, for she knew that his wrath would be ten times worse than his brother's. The venom that dripped from his voice made the atmosphere between them tense and there was a looming darkness over the two. The angel didn't consider to stop walking during his rant, taking into account his anger, listening to his pants, and visualizing his demonically enraged features. She wasn't familiar with the human body and didn't know the capacity of its strength, so she didn't dare turn around. It wasn't until she heard a thud did she turn and witness the red faced demon and the falling pine needles all around him. The last words snaked out of his lips before he abruptly started to walk away.
Annette stood dumbfound for a few moments before she could gather her thoughts and when she finally did, she started after Prince Skellig, But you do need my help, and it is precisely for the sole reason of you stopping your brother from killing my that I am helping you. Though, you make it seem that I was the one who caused your brother to attack and try kill me. You wouldn't have had to save me and we wouldn't be in this mess if you two hadn't been so hasty in taking an angels life. You think that I think you should be grateful, but you have no room to talk. You keep saying you saved me like I should be grateful to you. I am just paying off a debt. I owe you for saving my life in a scenario that should have never escalated the way it did. The angel's voice as it entered the demon's mind was calm and steady. She followed him, but at a safe distance about five steps behind him in case he should turn around and hit her.
The angel continued before the demon could slip his hate-ridden words in, Anyways, you say that you would fight whatever came at you if it was just you and your brother, but you cant fight forever. As you fight for your lives so desperately and pitifully, your aunt would be already coming up with a plan to truly terminate you two. You two wouldn't even have a fighting chance even if you thought you did, for she would be sending one assassin after another as decoys whilst her hands are clean and filled with a multitude of resources while you wouldn't even have an ally. See, you underestimate me, demon. Her last thoughts to him were hushed and her pace slowed, but the red haired angel watched his broad back intently and was keenly aware of him movements, still taking precaution towards his anger.

{Lol. :3 Im glad you like how he is. :D Although i think he is rather hot headed. xD}
Skellig growled and this one actually sounded demonic, as if his powers had never been trapped inside the stone that was firmly strapped to his wrist. He glared at her with almost neon green eyes and he couldn't help but turn his words to ice. He let his words drip with ice and venom. "So we're back to DEMON, are we? Well, female angel, you have no right to tell me that i should be grateful to you. You know why I'm powerless? Do you know why I am walking in this god forsaken forest with a 'holy' being? Do you? Because YOU told me to put my powers away. YOU wanted me to hide my presence for a trading of YOU NOT using your cute little powers." He ground out the words and clenched his fists before he lashed out a tree, punching it. He left a little dent in the bark but his hand was bleeding. His knuckles had scratched now and blood was dripping from the wounds. He didn't care. He flicked his blood at the tree and continued to walk.
"And you know what else? YOU ARE USING YOUR POWERS ANYWAYS!" He growled out that last sentence and he really wanted to lash some ice at her but since his powers were locked away in a stone, he really couldn't. He walked and continued to try to calm his erratic breathing. He really wanted his oowers back. He didn't care if this would cause the demons to come from hell and attack him. He didn't care at all. all he cared about was getting her throat in his hands or maybe giving her a broken wing. He growled and hissed and punched trees. His hands now dripping blood.

His hot headedness is what makes his character more enjoyable and entertaining ^^
BiC;
This was exactly why the angel refrained herself from conversing with others. The words that spewed from her lips and the thoughts that slipped from her mind always seem to cause problems. The words that flowed from her mind to his mind didn't effect Prince Skellig the way she willed it to and it was like their first encounter all over again, however, this time she didn't have anyone to come save her, and this time it was her savior that she had turned into the villain. Annette's spine danced with the mere thought of the events from the morning reoccurring. Copper red hair stood on the back of her neck sensing danger. Her feet seemed heavier with each step as his words chilled the afternoon air between them. The setting sun gave no warmth to the two creatures who walked underneath the canopy of the trees.
Her silver eyes watched the demon take his anger out on the surrounding trees, red trailing down his hands. The words he spoke took hers away and left the angel with a pounding heart and a familiar fear for her life. Through his ice slashing words, Annette could see the truth and reason behind them. Prince Skellig was right. It was true that she was the one who suggested that the twins should control their emotions and powers better if they were to take refuge on Earth, though they were under no obligation to do so. It was true that she was the one who traded her powers for Prince Skellig to control his, however, in the mess of pointing the blame, he was the one who gave her permission to start using her powers again. Annette thought it unfair for him to be bringing his illogical reasoning into the argument, but she didn't dare to comment and give her opinion. With that conversation bit ruled out, the angel no longer knew what to say.

Sorry this gives you nothing >.<

Skellig looked down at the stone on his wrist, realizing that it was hot and actually had a small crack in it. He was so enraged that in the midst of him punching trees, he must have cracked it on a tree. He knew that's probably why he was able to growl properly earlier. He looked at the stone for a while, unsure of what to do until he saw the blood that was seeping from his hands. They weren't healing, so he was obviously human. He bit his cheek and sighed. He didn't need this, not now. Not when he was separated from Ieroe. Out of the two of them, Ieroe was the stronger one right now and he was unsure as to what would happen if they were attacked. The angel girl didn't seem very strong at all, but he didn't know. He growled again and looked at the stone before he started to slam it into the tree next to him. He wanted it to break. It was horrible!
"WHY WON"T YOU BREAK!!!" He screamed adn lashed back out at the tree. His knuckles alost bare of skin now. He didn't liek this. He didn't want this. He needed his powers back.
{this was absolute crap...}

Never once did her angelic eyes leave the blood stained hands of the demon. The distance between them grew along with the silence, though the tension between them stayed the same. Annette parted her lips many times but no words came out. Was there truly nothing that she could do or say to get herself out of the unpleasant situation? Of course their wasn't. Her sharp tongue was a useless, but then again, when did words ever fix anything? Annette found that words did more harm than good, though she seemed to have forgotten that upon meeting the twins. The fact was, the red haired angel wasn't accustomed to getting into arguments with others. Usually she kept to herself and looked cynically upon humans, curiously upon demons and dully upon angels, so getting into an argument with a boy, a demon boy, nonetheless, was an experience that that was curious within itself but also a frightening and a repetitive thing.
Silver eyes watched Prince Skellig gaze at the pendulum, but what he saw she couldn't, for she was too far back. Annette squinted slightly, trying to see the pendulum on his wrist, but before she could make out it's blemish, he started beating the pendulum on the nearest tree, commanding it to come off. The angel was startled at the abruptness of the Prince's actions. Surely she knew that he would explode again, she just wasn't prepared for the silence to break. As Annette watched him throw a tantrum, her eyes flickered back to his knuckles that didn't seem to stop bleeding. Scarlet droplets of blood fell from his finger and dropped onto the grass below him while other drops flew here and there and on the dull bark of the tree. He wasn't healing. She had been too dense, so ignorant, that she didn't take it into consideration the limited knowledge Prince Skellig might also have on the workings of the human body. This angel was a messenger between realms and yet she hardly knew anything about humans, so she assumed that a demon prince would know less, but for some reason, she expected him to know more.
"Prince Skellig," Her voice was small and the words felt tired in her mouth. Annette refused to apologize, though she was willing to acknowledge their deal even if he had allowed her to use her powers once more. The fair skinned angel stood quite a great distance away from the enraged demon, the fear for her life still throbbed in her chest. It took a few moments for her to conjure up the shy courage, but once she had it in her blood stream she closed the distance between them. "Prince Skellig," She repeated, now steps away from him, "You're bleeding." The angel, foolishly pointing out the obvious, snatched the demons hand but held it gingerly in her own. The touch of his cold skin made the hairs on her arms stand and their closeness made her heart race.
Not once did her silver eyes meet his human green ones. Fear of what she might find in this eyes as she tended to his wound frightened her, especially with being so close. Annette removed the thick pink bow that hugged the small of her waist. Carefully handling the demon, Annette wrapped the boy's knuckles tightly to stop the bleeding, but her efforts were in vain. In seconds time, blood started to seep through the cotton turning it a rose red, she knew that it wouldn't last very long as proper bandage, "We should find some water to clean this up." Her voice was hushed and the trees sighed above them as a delicate breeze danced around them. For a moment, all Annette could do was stare at his bloody hands that were cupped in her own as she wondered what on earth had gotten into her. Was this some kind of apology? She couldn't be too certain what it was and, quite frankly, she didn't want to find out. The red haired angel slowly and gently released his hand and turned her face up to look at Prince Skellig.

Skellig looked at her and hissed. "I know I"m bleedin. I'm not stupid." He let her do what she wanted with his hands, not really caring right now. All he wanted to do was to get this thing broken, but that was something that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. He didn't like this at all and it wasn't something he would hope that he'd have to do again. He sighed when she looked up at him, more of a frustrated sigh than anything else. He looked at her and shook his head. "No water. I control ice." He looked down at the bloody pink, well now red, ribbon and focused as much of his energy as he could to the wounds. He saw that his blood was actually cooling and was now dropping in slosh. Red slosh that looked like red snow to him. He continued to focus the energy he had there and saw small ice crystals begin for form over the blood and wounds, cleaning it. He hissed as the wound cleaned and his nails curled into claws once more before they faded into human nails again. He didn't give up and once he finally got the energy to focus, he had a bit of ice over his wounds. He finally stopped his focus and fell to his knees, exhausted from using his demon powers as a human since it wasn't supposed to be possible. He flopped onto his back and looked at his ice covered wounds. He didn't know how he would break this off or if the ribbon would stick his hand since he kind of had the ribbon on as he formed ice on the wounds. He coughed and laid on the floor, unsure as to whether or not he was going to get up. He sighed and closed his eyes, his icy breath creating small ice crystals on his eyelashes as he breathes out. He wanted to fall asleep now and just rest up. He gave a small purr, demonic, but a purr none-the-less.
{i am so sorry that this is sooo short... D:}

The words that came out of Prince Skellig's mouth confused her. She didn't understand what he was implying. She knew that he could control ice, but wasn't his powers sealed away? Annette took a step back and followed his line of sight. It didn't take long for the thin blood that was dripping from the ribbon tied around his hand to turn into a heavier liquid. The substance was similar to that of snow and rain mixed and for a moment, Annette couldn't believe what was happening. Her silver eyes grew a tad bit wider and her mouth hung slightly agape as she watched the heavy blood start to slow and his hand prick with ice crystals before layers of ice started to coat his wounded hand and the ribbon that covered it. Prince Skellig started to hiss at the force that was foreign to her and the angel's features snapped back to being composed as her eyes found his face. Annette watched the energy drain out of him and the exhaustion take over before he collapsed on the ground.
The angel stood, still processing the event that had just taken place and searching her limited knowledge of the pendulum. She was sure that Prince Skellig had told her that his powers were sealed away and that the only way for him to get his powers back was to get a supernatural being to break the pendulum. Was there something he didn't tell her? Annette squeezed her eyes shut; she was over thinking things again. The angel inhaled slowly and opened her eyes. The thoughts were gone, or mostly gone, they still lingered in the back of her mind. She needed to focus on the task at hand: getting Prince Skellig to safety, and that meant getting him to the city. Annette collapsed beside the demon and stared at him. Small ice crystals formed on his eyelashes as he breathed and Annette remembered when those same ice crystals resided on her eyelashes, but that was when Prince Skellig acted king-like and invincible. It was pathetic to see the mighty demon prince act so defeated. The angel parted her lips to say a variation of those thoughts but quickly closed them knowing where that conversation would lead.
Annette sighed and rubbed the back of her head as Prince Skellig started to purr; she would not let him fall asleep. She needed a way to get Prince Skellig up without starting another argument. The angel looked around as if the trees held the talking points she was going to bring up. Suddenly, Annette's eyebrows furrowed together and she realized something that she was oblivious to throughout their argument. The knots in her eyebrows came undone and a small smile lit her face. She slowly got to her feet and stood over Prince Skellig as she looked down to him as she spoke, "We got to keep moving Prince Skellig." Annette extended her hand to the figure below, "We said that we would go to the city, so maybe Prince Ieroe and the other angel are already there. It might be easier to find them than in this dense foliage." She didn't know if she was right or not, but she did know that the twins were persuaded to action with the mention of their other half. Annette was somewhat ashamed that she didn't notice the lack of presence from the other two and wasn't sure if Prince Skellig already noticed.

Skellig's breathing hitched when he realized she mentioned his brother. He hadn't noticed they had wandered off from the other two. He sat up quickly and looked around to see if he really wasn't with his brother. He sighed when he saw they really weren't together. He jumped to his feet and searched the immediate area for his brother since the foliage was rather thick around them. He kept searching until he finally realized that he really was gone from his twin. He growled and walked back to the angel. He was about to snap at her, but he suddenly felt a wave on nausea hit him and he staggered. He held his head and finally just toppled over from his foot hitting a rock. His knees hitting the ground before he placed one of his hands down and continued to hold his head. His breathing became erratic and he brought his hand up to his mouth. This was probably the worse consequence of forcing his powers out of the little crack in the pendant. He coughed and breathed in slowly, wanting to keep his stomach calm.
"We should.. we should go find them." He looked at the hand that was coated with ice and grabbed the ribbon, pulling it free from it's confines, causing the ice to break. He hissed, knowing that he was probably going to have pain in a bit. He handed the ribbon back to Annette and stood up. "Come on." He stood and started to walk in a random direction.

Annette dropped her hand to her side and watched as the foolish prince bolt right up and frantically started to search for his other half. Nothing good ever came out of mentioning their brother to one of the twins. The angel was naive to have never understood the bond between brothers, and even now she stood with curiosity roused in her mind. She wondered why Prince Skellig was searching so stubbornly even if he knew that his brother was nowhere to be found. He was with the other angel so she was sure that they were fine, they couldn't be in a worse situation than these two got stuck in. Nonetheless, Annette watched patiently as Prince Skellig searched and came back defeated. Once again the demon collapsed on the ground, he looked worse than he did a moment ago. Annette assumed that it was from using his powers so carelessly. It took everything the angel had inside of her to not chide Prince Skellig.
Annette was unsure as to what she should do about Prince Skellig. He was obviously not feeling well and it was very apparent that the only thing that ran through his thick skull was the idea of Prince Ieroe not being around. She knew that she needed to get him to the city but he obviously needed to rest. With another sigh, Annette opened her mouth, but as soon as it opened Prince Skellig's tired voice cut through. She was already shaking her head. Her mind searched for the right words to talk him out of looking for his brother while her silver eyes watched the demon below and when her mouth opened again, it was to gap in disbelief at the course of action Prince Skellig took. "That was in vain." She noted as the ribbon was graciously returned to her in a coat of cold and stiff blood. The angel wasn't sure what power the demon had summoned within him to make the ice bandage or if that was just a side effect from him healing himself, however, it now seemed like a waste since the ice had broken away when he tore the ribbon from his skin.
Annette clutched the ribbon as Prince Skellig started to walk away. "Prince Skellig," She called after him trying to catch up. She grabbed his shirt to stop him and all the while her mind tried to absorb everything as irritation rubbed against her spine, "Prince Skellig, stop and think for a moment! You don't know where your brother is and this forest is too large to look for him. We told them that we would take refuge in the city and that is the way we should go. Plus," Annette gestured to his appearance and then to the sky, "you look like you should get some rest. Using your powers like that is reckless, though I am not even sure how you managed to use them! Anyways, it looks like it will get dark in a few hours, we should look for a place to rest for the night." The red-haired angel clutched her stomach with both hands, "We should also get some food once we found shelter."
