N nodded and Reshiram landed beside Zekrom. He climbed down off of his pokemon's neck and stood on the grassy ground. He pulled out Reshiram's poke'ball and zapped his Vast White Pokemon in. He looked at Touko, "Let's go."

Touko dismounted Zekrom and allowed the red laser of the pokeball to reclaim the dark, red-eyed pokemon that she loved so much. She looked to the tower again, and felt a light breeze blow a bit of hair from her face. She was snapped out of her trance by N's voice.
"Oh, yeah. Let's go to that cafe," Touko said, nodding, and began to walk toward the cafe that she had pointed out earlier.

When they entered, the warm smell of freshly baked bread and cooked breakfast greeted them. N's mouth began to water as they took their steps towards a table in the corner. A waitress followed them and asked them what they wanted, "Um... whatever she's having..." he replied, smiling at Touko.

Touko sat down and ordered two scrambled eggs, an order of sausage, bacon, and an order of toast with gravy with orange juice as her drink. She watched as the waitress walked off and she crossed her legs.
"I hope you can eat as much as I can." She let out a laugh. "Because I have plenty of room in my stomach to fill."

"Ha ha, I think I'll be able to handle it." N winked, trying to flirt with Touko just a little. Her eyes, they were so beautiful and full of sweet tenderness and adventure. He couldn't resist staring into them. He placed his elbows on the table and rested his head on his hands and smiled at her.

Touko blushed and looked down a bit. Just the other day, she'd been yelling at him. He probably didn't know just how much she'd missed him while he went off with Reshiram after their battle. She looked back up at N and smiled slightly.
"N, you really don't know." She wanted to make him think for a moment, and keep him guessing.

N tilted his head, "I really don't know what?" he asked. He tried to read her ex
pression, but got melted away by her smile. She was so beautiful, and he really did miss her while they parted. It must've been fate that brought them together again.

"I'll tell you later," Touko said as their plates were placed in front of them by the waitress. She began to eat her eggs, her table manners respectable, but not without their imperfections.
She swallowed a bite and said, "I've gotta keep some mysteriousness about me, don't I?" She winked at the green-haired boy.

N blushed and stared down at his plate of food, "As do I, I guess," he smiled. Her grabbed his fork and shoved a mouthful of egg into his mouth. The warm, salty flavor of the egg made him relax. He hadn't had a nice, warm meal in days. This really did taste good.

Sooner than Touko had expected, she finished her meal, eggs, bacon, sausage and all. Downing the last bit of her orange juice, she waved the waitress to the table and asked for the ticket. The waitress nodded and left.
"So, you never told me where you went when you left. Where did you go?"

"I went straight to the forest and started living there. Bathing in the rivers, with no one around me but my pokemon. I didn't want to face society anymore, for I have done so much damage to them. I thought it was best if I stay away from as much people as possible, only going into cities for food for em and my pokemon. I don't even take them to Pokemon Centers because I heal them myself, using berries and herbs and what not." he sighed, taking a bite of his sausage.

Touko felt her heart ache a bit when he said that he left because he did so much harm to society. "You had good intentions, and you hurt someone even when you left." She chewed on the inside of her cheek, her eyes looking down at her hands, which were resting in her lap.
"But that's all in the past now. You're back to help." She placed her chin in her hands, allowing a momentary glance in N's direction.

N stared at her. Who had he hurt when he had left? Surely Touko didn't mind him leaving, and he thought it was best if he did leave. But she looked so sad, so hurt, both physically and emotionally. He scooted towards her and placed his hand on her hand, "We're in this together... right?" he asked.

When Touko felt N's hand resting on top of hers, she felt her face warm up, her cheeks filling with a bright pink color. She couldn't speak, because nothing would come out of her mouth. As much as she tried to say something, it wouldn't work.
Deciding it was best if she just nodded, Touko let her head bob up and down once, feeling the warmth from N's hand leak onto hers.

N watched as the cherry-pink color of her blush flooded to her face. He smiled, he loved seeing her blush. He was so tempted to lean over and kiss one of her blushing cheeks, but decided against it. It would only freak her out.
He did, however, scoot even closer to where their sides touched. She felt so warm against his cold arms, and he liked it. He liked the way the warmth of her body warmed him.

Touko's cheeks turned a shade darker when she felt N's side touch hers, and she looked away, but didn't move. She enjoyed this, but her cheeks wouldn't stop turning pink. What was wrong with her? She mentally smacked herself in the head and told herself to stop blushing around N. He seemed to get a kick out of it, and want to make her blush even more.

N smiled, and leaned his head down, with his lips close to her ear. He closed his eyes and nudged the side of her head with his nose. The feel of her silky hair awed him, kept him silent, and kept him still. He squeezed her hand tighter, soaking up her warmth.

Touko froze up, and her heartbeat increased, the organ frantically pumping blood through her body. Her cheeks couldn't possibly get any redder now, so she just closed her eyes, holding them shut.
She was enjoying this quite a bit, but she couldn't admit to that. She just couldn't. She frantically tried to sift through her brain for something to say, finally deciding on something neutral.
"W-what are you doing?" Her voice was shushed, and her cheeks kept the reddish color of her blush. "W-we're in a cafe!" She didn't move, however, which should've given a hint as to that she wasn't rejecting him.

Touko gasped, and closed her eyes. She put her hand over her mouth in an attempt to slow her breathing down. She definately hadn't expected that. She pulled away from N when the waitress came over, paying for the ticket and walking out of the cafe quickly, her cheeks red and her heart beating rapidly.
She liked N, but she wasn't sure about all of this. He left, then came back, and it seemed like whatever had been between them before had intensified. She made sure to slow her walking so that N would be able to find her.
