Ägar struggled to remember why he had bothered ask the human to wake him up. After the refreshing, albeit startling, stretch last night, the dragon was feeling ready and up for anything. So naturally, he had risen before the moon had finished setting. Perhaps he had wanted to make the boy feel useful. Yes, that was it.
Meditating quietly, the call shoved him abruptly out of his reverie. It had not been loud, but in his dream state Ägar had completely forgotten about the order. As it was now down and said, the dragon sighed and unfolded his legs, striding towards the door with a slight frown perching under his beaky nose.
''Thank you,'' he muttered curtly, opening the door. Already dressed, his crimson tunic had somehow been washed, dried and straightened in the time between Ägar going to bed and waking up. Rather, the dragon had taken a swift trip outside to get some personal necessities taken care of before his wake-up.
''You may choose what landmark we visit today,'' he added with a gracious, humble smile.
