His eyes widened. "Now that I did not know. But I understand losing someone you love. My mother died. My father was murdered by my brother, and I was blamed for it." He looked away. "I know that nothing I say can bring your brother back, or right the wrong that my family has committed. But please except my sincere apology." As he said this he looked back at her. "If you want to kill me for what my family did, then do so. The only thing that I ask of you, if you so choose to kill me, is that you will look after my sister as your own. Treat her like you would a sister, and raise her to be kind and just." His eyes showed him to be sincere. There was no wrong in his heart. No thoughts of revenge, only thoughts of having his sister safe and that all injustices were made right.

My eyes stayed in accusing slits. It was the Elvish way to kill those who have killed your loved ones, or the nearest kin to the killer. I considered it. Killing him would be custom. What would my people think of a queen who doesn't follow custom? And besides, what was the reason to kill him? He had suffered almost as much pain as I had; My mother, father, unborn sister, and brother were all killed, then the soul of another thrust at me. Others may think that it is a wonderful privilege to have the Queen as another guest in your head, but they don't have the slightest clue how invading that was. Nothing; not a though, an emotion, a memory, anything was yours.
I kept silent.
We rode on at a speed faster than almost anyone else' brain could process, and soon we were within less than two miles of the City. Flash stopped dead in his tracks.
"Switch horses. I need to take your sister." I told the demon, jumping off of Flash and looking at him.

He nodded. He swore to himself that he would do everything she asked of him. Even if it was to kill himself, in order to right the wrongs that had been done to her and her family by his. He got off his horse and handed her his sister. "Should I put my cloak back on?" He asked as his single eye looked everywhere, not leaving a single spot, in the area around them, unscanned.

"Um... Sure? It won't make much of a difference once we are inside of the Guard's arena." I told him. It wasn't truly an arena, but we called it that because there was not an inch in that area that they didn't have at least one eye watching. I jumped onto his horse and set his sister behind me. I arranged her quickly; her arms around me, her legs hanging off the side of the horse in a Side-saddle position.
"Follow." I told Flash, and took off into the forest. I only rode for about two minutes, Flash on my left flank, before I stopped. I sniffed around for a moment, then tensed.
"You and Flash stay here. I'll be able to get you in once I'm on the inside." I told him. Without waiting for an answer, I bolted off into the Guard's arena. I knew that Flash wouldn't move a muscle unless I gave him permission to now, nor would he let anyone or anything pass him.

He sighed and pulled the hood of his cloak up anyway. He stood next to Flash not moving, save for his ears that twitched constantly under his hood. He hated not knowing what was going on, but if she wanted him to do something, he would do it from now on without question. He had to pay for the sins his family had committed even though he had not been part of it, it was still his family.

((Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I didn't even know it was my turn to post. Let me write it up in the morning? I'm currently on my laptop, and hte keyboard is all funky. I'll make sure to get a pos tin in the next few days, and if it's not for the RP, then it will be just to let you know how buisy I've been and all those other things that keep me from replying. Another reason for me not to post is because I've been having searous writer's block for about a month. It's taking me like... Ten minutes just to type this for lack or ideas of what to say. :/ Sorry about this whole thing, though.))

My eyes stayed closed as a low growl came from behind me. I was slumped over the demon's horse like I was sleeping.
"Stop!" A firm voice said from behind me. My mind started to buzz alive again at the voice.
"Garret?" I asked, turning around and opening my eyes.
"Jazz!" He said, a smile growing on his face. "Jazz!" He said again, as if in disbelief. He ran up to my side and looked into my eyes. "Is that really you?"
"Of course it's me, Garret!" I said and jumped off of the demon's horse. I embraced Garret in a large bear hug.
"Oh Jazz! How I missed you!" He pulled away from me a little, but just enough to look into my eyes. "What are you doing here?" He asked me.
"About that... We need to get to the City, and quickly." I said. It was then that Garret noticed the girl on the demon's horse.
"Is that who I think it is?" He said, pointing to her with his chin.
"Yeah. And that is why we need to go, and now." I said. Garret nodded. We took our usual positions; Garret riding and me running.
"You coming?" I called behind my shoulder as I dashed into the trees, heading deeper into the Guards Arena.
((Sorry for the short post. I'm a wee bit distracted. And you can tell because I only say wee when I'm off in another world. :U))

(XD That's fine) Azroth nodded and climbed onto her horse once more and followed close behind the two of them. -Who is this guy?- He wondered. -But she does seem to care for him very much, the way she acted.- He chuckled, still listening intently to everything around them. Suddenly he jumped off Flash and launched himself in front of Jazz, taking a crossbow bolt into his shoulder. A bolt meant for her. He winced and took off running. "Keep going." He growled over his shoulder at them, breaking the shaft off and tossing it. He then went after the assassin. He planned to catch whoever it was alive and bring them to Jazz to pay. It was not his decision as to what happened to them since he was not the intended victim.

My eyes were wide as I saw the demon take the arrow, then bolt off. I turned my head to Garret, who had come to a stop just as I. His eyes met mine and we both went into full action. I shook off the shock and whistled for Flash. He was by my side as I took the demon's sister off of the demon's horse. I placed her on my horse, then jumped up onto Flash.
"You know what to do?" I asked Garret. He nodded slowly. He jumped off of the demon's horse and took my hand just as I was going to give Flash the order.
"Will I ever see you again?" He asked me, his eyes begging. I didn't look into them, for I knew that if I did, I would never be able to pull myself back out. I tore my had out of his, and whistled to Flash. He bolted at top speed through the Guards arena. I leaned down to his ear.
"You know what to do. Go to my place. Hide there until I come for you." I whispered to him. He shifted slightly, but I knew he would. I lunged off of him and landed tumbling on the hard forest floor. I looked around for a moment, then bolted off in the direction I had seen the demon run.

He saw the would be assassin run, and he chased after. In a matter of seconds he had tackled the person to the ground. The assassin's hood fell back revealing a female demon. "You!" They both said in unison. Azroth growled. "Should have known my brother would have sent you at some point." He picked her up by her throat. "I would kill you, but I have an obligation to the one you had just tried to kill." His growling grew louder and his eyes were tinged red. The female demon whimpered in both pain and fear.
"I-I'm sorry." She gasped out.
Azroth shook his head and soon had her tied up using some of the vines that grew nearby. He made sure that her bonds were tight before slinging her over his good shoulder and began to run back in the direction he had come from. He soon appeared in front of Jazz before she had reached the area where he had first left her.

"That was quick." I muttered under my breath. I looked at the body on his shoulder. I looked at his shoulder and sighed.
"I'll deal with her later. You need medical attention. Come on." I said with a growl. I walked backwards, sure to keep both of my eyes and ears on the female demon. My piercing eyes showed no emotion as I slowly walked backwards.

"Don't worry. She won't try anything since I'm here, and I'm fine."
The female demon grumbled. "Yeah, because you would tear me apart otherwise." She hissed unhappily.
Azroth growled. "Of course." He then looked over at Garret then back at Jazz. "Should I dispose of her now?" He indicated the demon. He said no more, feeling no reason to continue. His eyes glowed a bright gold under his hood. They were also still tinged slightly red.

"No. I'll deal with her later. Once more, you need treatment. We are almost to the City." I grumbled under my breath. Without Flash here, that was going to be more difficult. My ears found the Demon's horse before my hands did, and so I hopped into it, my eyes still locked on the female demon.
I uttered a spell, then a long, silver chain appeared in my hands. "Bring the female here." I growled in that irritated, bored voice of mine.
"This chain is enchanted. If you can manage to break it, it will mend it's self unless given my deactivation spell. And that can only be spoken by me, because once more, it is my spell." I informed the demons.
"And with that note, I would suggest not trying to get free, because each time it mends it's self, it becomes tighter and tighter." My eyes were piercing as the crystals that grew in the sacred city of Tharek. You could be killed if you were to so much as look at one, let alone stare at one.
"You, Azroth, will ride behind me. She will walk behind." I told them both.

Azroth shoved the female demon over to her. The demon glared at him. "You will pay for this." She hissed.
"I already did." He said quietly, in a voice just below a whisper. The demon smirked at him. Azroth then backed up. His ears still continuously twitching under his hood, listening for any signs of a threat. "I will run." He finally said. He hated the thought of someone thinking him weak. Just because he took a crossbow bolt in his shoulder, near his heart, did not mean he needed help. Ever since he was little, people would treat him like a baby, even when it was just a scratch. He hated it...it drove him crazy. -Why?- He hissed in his mind.

"First off, what the hell is between you two? If I'm going to save your life," I said and threw my gaze over to Azroth. "then you are going to tell me everything I want to know." I hissed at him.
"If you don't, then I might as well just leave you here to die. You aren't getting into the City without my help. The guards aren't very kindly to you demons. The only reason we've not been deemed as a threat is because I'm here." I said bluntly.
I twisted the chain in my hands, wrapping it around my right one multiple times. If I was going to have to use physical strength with either of these demons, this chain was harder than stone, and would provide a good punch.
I looked back and forth between the two demons, my eyes judging them like a hawk watching it's next kill.
"I will walk." I said. I jumped off of the horse, my chin held high, and tied the chain around the female demon's arm, then allowed her onto the horse. She would be sitting in the back, the chain around her arm, and I would be holding the other end.
"I can run just as fast as this horse can, either way. It would be the logical choice for me to run and you two ride. I suggest you get on that horse now and tell me the story on the way." I said and fixed Azroth in my deathly gaze.
If looks could kill. I thought to myself.

Azroth chuckled. -Feisty isn't she?- He climbed onto his horse, keeping the female in front of him. He did not trust her completely. He nudged his horse with his knees and it began to walk. "I've known her for a long time..." He stopped talking as the memories flooded his mind.
(be back shortly. going for a walk. about 30 min or so then i will reply to your next post ^^)
