Kiyiya walked down the tree trunk and yawned as if to show "this is just too easy." He began to take in his surroundings and assess the situation. The dead bodies didn't seem to have any effect on him on the outside, but on the inside, they were bothering his mind. "So when do we start?" he called out to Covalt as Sierra took her first step in the arena. She, on the other hand, was shocked and terrified. 'So... this is where all of... the misbehaved wolves' dead bodies.... went... Oh gosh..' she thought, walking in a small area to take in the valley and what it was like. The wolf wondered how they would find their opponents.

Aketa climbed down the tree, and noticed the bodies immedeatey. That was almost Avadare, but that was the only thing that bothered him. He already had a plan, and it was certain to work. He stood by Sierra, Coheed, and Kiyiya. "We're working as a team right?"
Covalt threw back his head and howled, and he was answered by a voice on the other side of the valley. "You just started. Now get out of here, the other wolves are out there and they'll probably be headed here first." |

Kiyiya thought this one over for a bit and reluctantly nodded. "Yeah, fine, whatever. But I say we get going, NOW, if we want to last a while longer," he growled, concluding that it would be easier to succeed with a team than without. He'd work with them - but he wouldn't be happy about it. Sierra didn't reply, though, she just gave a confused and "I don't know, I don't know what to do" ex

"Just stick with us, Sierra, and you'll be fine." Coheed said. "I'm not one to break promises, but we need to get going. Now. Kiyiya's right, and we'd be easy targets here." Coheed broke into a run, assuming the others would have the common sense to follow.

Sierra just nodded and ran after Coheed and Aketa, along with Kiyiya, who had easily made his way to the front. "If there is any cover here, which I doubt, we should find it. Since there is a big chance there won't be, I say we keep running and send out one or two wolves to scout and spy for the Gangvar wolves so we can know their position and attack them. But a scout must be very quiet, quick, and careful. Now, one ir two wolves shall keep watch at all times if we stop moving or if this goes on into the night. We cannot take any risks," Kiyiya said, basically taking over.

"I'll be a scout." Aketa said, still running.
"We could probably dig a den in the side of the valley, or find a cave somewhere, or something." Coheed said. "There's got to be a place to hide somewhere."

"I've thought of digging a den," Kiyiya said. "To properly house just one of us, it'd take a long time to make it. And Aketa, thanks for stepping up to the plate. Just know that scouting is a dangerous job." He paused, then continued. "Prey will be scarce. They don't like open spaces such as these and if we come across anything we should seize the opportunity if the time is right. It also may be necessary to resort to cannibalism. Dead Gangvar wolves and maybe - though I hope not - one of our own might be our main course some days." It was unusual for Kiy to talk so much, but it might've just been the weight of the situation taking hold.

Cannibalism? The word stuck in Coheed's mind. He'd always thought that cannibalism was only something done by sick, disgusting wolves, or those who were desperate enough for food that they were willing to eat their own kind. But he realized that they were desperate, he just hoped he wouldn't have to eat another wolf. But what would be even worse, in his opinion, would be to look down at one of the bodies...and see a familliar face. Anyone he would know, and see dead would probably scar him for the rest of his life. He wasn't a monster, in his opinion. "That's alright, I can take a few Gangvar wolves." "...But you've lost every fight you've ever been in..." (I didn't even have to make that up XD) Coheed said, snapping out of his thoughts.

Sierra snickered at that one and had to agree with Coheed. Even in playfights, Aketa was no match for anybody. She worried for him a little because of this; a packmate was a packmate, no matter how wimpy or stupid they were, and any death was sad. Being a scout didn't really seem to be anything Aketa would excel at... Meanwhile, Kiyiya continued. "Now that we've covered the basics, I would like to know the positions everyone thinks that they are at, fighting-wise. 0 is for being absolutely horrible and 10 is for being a pro fighter. Aketa?"

Aketa was silent for a second. "...Well um...five...?" "Aketa." Coheed growled. "Don't lie." "Three..." Aketa mumbled. "I'd say I'm probably a six or seven," Coheed said, and turned to Kiy and Sierra. (FAIL.) |

Sierra looked around timidly and said, "A three. At most.." She wans upset that she was at the same placement as Aketa, bur she couldn't change the truth. She wasn't a good fighter. Hunting was more of her forte. Kiyiya let out a small sigh. "I'd say I'm an eight or so," he voiced reluctantly. "So it appears we're half weak, half strong. No offense." "None taken," Sierra spoke up. Kiyiya then said, "Alright, I think we're far enough that we can slow down into a trot."

Aketa nodded and slowed down. After walking a little further, he spoke up. "We should get some rest while we can- before the Gangvar wolves find us." Coheed growled. "You'd be scouting anyway while everybody else slept. Besides," Coheed paused to turn around and face Aketa, "You'll have plenty of time to sleep when they kill you." Coheed didn't know what it was, but something about Aketa bothered him. Aketa seemed too nice, and like he didn't really get angry. Like he didn't even have the emotion. And normally Coheed would've considered that a good thing, but there was something about Aketa that was different, like it wasn't quite right. "We aren't going to die." Aketa said, narrowing his eyes. "Maybe I'm not, but-" "I'm not going to argue." Aketa growled. |

Sierra chuckled nervously and piped up, "Now we have to think positive... All of us.. We hopefully aren't going to die." Kiyiya didn't say anything, but instead shook his head at Aketa's suggestion. They were far away now, and if they stopped, the Gangvar wolves would get closer. Right now, far away was not far enough. If night fell, they'd sleep. Aketa would scout and Sierra would probably be lookout at this point.

Aketa frowned. "Oh...well...um...thank you, Kiyiya...for your concern." He didn't really appreciate that they wouldn't be looking for him, or really even caring. He kept walking. So...he was supposed to be the scout. It was going to be his job to help them know what the enemy was doing, yet they didn't even value his life. And if they didn't care, Then neither did he. |

Kiyiya huffed. "It's not that we're not concerned. It's just that it would be too dangerous to turn around and go towards our killers to look for you. Just return before midday for us to know you're alive. We simply don't want to risk getting killed as well."
