Kenyan shook his head.
"I think it's only a green sunlight sucking moving thing only. I've never tried dirt though..." He was thinking about going outside and trying that when Adam came back in, carrying a guitar and his drink.
"There's a music store on campus?"

"Yeah, there is. What do you play?" Adam asked, actually somewhat curious. He figured if he was going to leave here with these people for a long period of time he should at least get to know them better. "Sorry for my abrupt leaving earlier," he added. "I just neeeded a caffine fix. I'll probably be much more sociable now." Finishing off his coffee, he shot the empty cup like a basketball into the nearest trash can and it went straight in. Smiling from his accomplishment he began to feel a little more comfortable around his roomates. After getting over his excitement, he looked back up at his roomates and began to take in their physical appearences so he knew where he stood with them. Kenyan was tall, and looked like someone you wouldn't wanna mess with. Taking mental notes, adam nodded to himself. Remembering that the first thing Kenyan had said was he was not gay nor emo, so he made sure he would avoid those topics around him to avoid provoking him. Lyle was about the same height as he was, but Adam new he had more muscle on him. He didn't feel intimidated by Lyle like he did Kenyan, but figured he would keep watch and try to figure out what topics are touchy for him to to avoid any arguments. After sizing up his roomies, Adam shook his mind free and looked up for a response from Kenyan.

Cassie wound back up at the dorms and decided to write about her day so far to her brother. She mentioned how big the campus was, the coffee, the music, and the cute guy Adam she just met. She knew her brother would be overprotective and call her making sure she wasn't being hurt but she didn't mind. After she was done writing she decided to put more of her things up. She stopped abruptly due to the excessive noise outside. she walked over to the window. As she opened up the window she saw the football team boys, practicing out in the lot. She watched for maybe a few seconds then went back to unpacking. As she she finished she plopped her body upon her bed and began listening to her new CD. |

"I used to play the keyboard." Kenyan bit his lip and looked away, somewhat embarassed.
"It's been a long time though. Not sure if I remember too much." He watched Adam toss the paper cup into the trash, Michael Jordan-style.
"Do you play basketball?"

Adam laughed, "Nothing to be emberassed about playing the keyboard. I think it's pretty cool." He did think it was pretty cool, actually because all music was cool to him. Even the keyboard. To make Kenyan feel better he threw something out himself. "I used to play the ukulele," he said with a laugh. Acknowledging Kenyan's question he nodded. "Yeah, I always have loved basketball. I just kind of play for fun though. I'm not good with being infront of people when I do things. It's just a personal fear I guess. I have no idea," Adam said and shrugged then gestured to Kenyan's CDs. "What artists you got there?" |

Cassie tapped her fingers along with the beat to Black Cat by Mayday Parade. She smiles and continues tapping until her feet are moving. she gets into the beat and starts singing. once she begins that she gets up and starts organizing her stuff again. she thinks back to a moment when her and her brother set off a bunch of fireworks and one ricoched and hit him in the nuts. she began laughing and dancing and singing even more.

"Come on dude, the ukulele's awesome." Kenyan chuckled a little. He felt surprisingly at ease with his roommates-and no, not in the gay sense.
"Anyway, so you're like a casual athlete? Shoot hoops on the weekend in the park, like? That's cool. I've never played sports."And that was true. Well, except the time his grandmother thought he was his sister and made him take ballet classes. But he wouldn't get into that.

Adam felt himself actually smile again. After only being in school for a few hours he had smiled twice. "The ukulele is pretty awesome I suppose, but that doesn't make the keyboard any less awesome," he said cooly. "Yeah, I'm pretty much a casul athlete. I never really wanted to be on a team or anything. I just play with guys I'm comfortable with and avoid the yelling coaches, overdramatic fans, manic basketball parents, and my old school's ditsy cheer captain!" Adam said chuckling then watched one of his own Green Day CDs fall onto the floor. "Daammit," he mumbled and picked it up then set it back on top of the rest of his albums in a stack. |

Morgana just sat herself down at the table that every1 seemed to be at. "Hi guys," she said. "Hows it going? im Morgana, one of Cassie's roomates, so i might as well make myself known." O god i messed that up. i mean, who the hell just makes their self at home at someone else's table? ARG! "Sorry about me just intruding in, but i got bored over at my table. So, hows it going cassie? enjoying ur coffee?"

Cassie stopped dancing and smiled as she looked out her window and she opened it to the sound of birds singing. "such a lovely tune.", she spoke to the cardinal singing along with her. She smiled and left the window open. Cassie Looked at her CD on her bed and thought back to Adam. " I wonder what room he's in...", she thinks out loud. she giggles a bit and thinks about his cute smile and laugh. "I think Morgana is right...I like him.", she giggled and screamed quietly a bit. |

Morgana left the table and decided to go back to the dorm with Cassie. Afterall, she was the only one besides her family who knew her secret. Why had she been born with this gift? Out of all the people in the world, it had to be her and her brother Merlin. Merlin, she thought. I miss you, She walked inside her dorm to find Cassie looking out the window with music on. she couldn't tell who the band was, nor did she care. "Is everything alright cassie? I didn't ruin anything for you did I?"

She turned to Morgana and a wide smile on her face, she took Morgana's hands and began to dance. "Oh Morgana I DO like him !! I like him ! I've only met him once and I Like him !", she giggled and fell on her bed purposefully. She sighed happily and giggled." wow i've never felt like this before...do you thikn he feels the same way ?", she asked, her eyes full of hope and glee. She Looked out the window and saw the two birds tweeting and flying together.

Kenyan winced a bit as Adam put his CD back. So messy. But whatever. "Fight the impulse," he thought to himself.
"Yeah, I've been to a few games. The parents seem to be the worst things out there. I know it's your kid and all, but come on. No one wants to hear how he's the greatest gift God gave mankind."
He sat down on his own bed and placed his tree on his lap. He started absentmindedly forming the branches into unnatural shapes.
"Oh, damn it. I was supposed to call my mom." He reached for his phone, then abruptly decided against it. "You know what? If she's that worried about me she'll text. Texting is so much easier than listening to her."

"At least your mom cares," Adam said and laughed it off like the fact that his mother couldn't care any less about him didn't hurt even though it stung in his chest. The sun soon began to set and it shined brightly in her room ,with the light hitting the window just right. She smiled and began to walk outside, watching the sunset. She sat down on a bench in her khaki short shorts, and her Blue but very elegant American Eagle tank top. She sighed and began to miss her brother, but then began to think about Adam as well. |

"Nothing special about it though, just a Bonsai." He continued to maneuver the plant's branches before finally settling on a new design, something similar to a double helix. He set the tree back in it's proper spot, then looked out the window.
"Getting late. Wanna go grab something to eat?"
