Laughing, Jake shook the dog's paw before going back to Amber and wrapping her up in his arms, in a big, gentle bear hug. "I missed you so much," he murmured into her neck. the two stayed, all wrapped up like that for a few seconds before Jake let go. "It was too hot for comfort, It's 90 degrees out, you know." he said, smiling again.

Amber smiled back, she went outside and whistled. A handsome young male dragon swooped below the platform. "Come on!" Amber said, before jumping and disappearing. Cliche also ran, her nails clicking on the floorboards and leapt. Also, disappearing from sight. They then swooped up and down in the sky before going into a gentle breeze.

Sorry, I've been busy. Grinning, Jake whistled and leapt into the air, Az catching him and soaring after the younger dragon. Az was full grown now, and was about the size of a large, muscular horse. Speeding to catch up, Jake calLed out into the wind, "come to my house, I want to show you something!"

Amber smiled, "Sure." Following Jake, she got off the dragon and sent Moon and Cliché to go and play.

Landing, Jake jumped off Az and walked to where Amber was standing. Catching her hand in his, he hummed the tune of one of his favorite songs, simply enjoying the cool breeze that had picked up and the sun just starting to come down from its fiery perch in the sky. Walking with Amber along the river, he led her to his house and into the kitchen. "Wait here," he said, and disappeared into his room for a few minutes before returning with a carved wood box, smooth and clean white wood with slim vines curling up and down its sides, handing her the box, he grinned as he waited for her to open it.

Jake smiled to himself as he watched her pull out the necklace. He had made it a few months after she had left, and he was truly proud of it. It was a small silver dragon wrapped around a crescent moon, the whole thing only about the size of a quarter, and it was on a slim silver chain. "I hope you like it," he said sheepishly, blushing a bit.

"Alright," Jake agreed, and whistled for Az. The dragon swirled down from the sky and crashed into the ground, on all fours, but still sending a small tremor through the ground. Loping over to the large beast, Jake hopped on his back, them waited for Amber to decide where they would explore first.

She took out her map and sucked her bottom lip in the process. "Right!" she said before flying off. When Jake came beside her she spoke, "You know where we saw that creature thing a long time ago?" not waiting she continued, "Well, I did some research and I found some more. I want to go and have a look."

Nodding, Jake turned Az, and beckoning her, flew east, over the forest and finally spiraled down to land in a shady, wooded glen. The air was cold despite the sunlight, and shadows stalked around the edges. Lying in the middle was a large skeleton, no doubt the beast's. Its bones were pearly white, shiny, strong, and bright, and the whole thing was intact.

"Alright," Jake said, hopping back on Az and looking back at the gleaming bones. Flying off, he arrived home quickly and idled into the kitchen. "You seem happy," Emma remarked. She was sitting on the couch with Ryan, her boyfriend. "You got back together?" Jake asked her, and she nodded happily. Ryan grinned at Jake. He was a tall, skinny guy with wavy brown hair and brown eyes.

Amber sighed as she reached home and moved her things around. Taking a shower she fed Cliché and hopped into bed. Cliché came and hopped into bed with Amber.

Grinning at Ryan Jake answered, "You better take care of her, Ryan," and the teen just laughed slipped a hand around her shoulders, and whispered into her ear, just loud enough so Jake could hear it, "I will. Don't worry." Going into the kitchen, Jake microwaved some leftovers and brought them up to his room. Eating them, he flopped out onto his bed, falling asleep.

Jake awoke early in the morning, getting up and showering. Feeling tired still after his shower, he pulled on a pair of boxers and flopped back into bed, promptly falling asleep again. Finally, he awoke to a voice saying his name and a tap on the shoulder. Flipping to see who it was, he nearly fell out of bed with surprise.

Kylie stayed at home the whole day in her pajamas waiting for something to happen. At lunch time she ate, fed the animals and took a shower. She pulled on a summer dress and stayed on her bed to read.

"Oliver, what are you doing here?" Jake rolled out of bed and hugged his friend. "Just though I'd stop by," the dark haired, dark skinned man answered, embracing Jake. "We were passing over Ignis and stopped in Astralune for supplies, so I though I'd visit." Oliver was a sky captain, someone who flew the airships that were frequently used to travel between the islands.
