I stopped abruptly and went to pick at a red flower that had just bloomed. Without saying anything, I put it in her ear and kept walking. "It looks pretty."

Isedon was surprised by that. And she blushed a deep red. Much like the colour of the flower he had just placed behind her ear. Her throat went dry and words did not come to her as her mind blanked out. She followed after him silent.

Isedon nodded her head more slowly this time. Well, there was a first for everything, she supposed. Usually when people saw her -- before graduation and stuff -- they called her all these names. She tried not to take much notice to them, but they were still hurtful. Though, her blush deepened slightly when she heard that he would remember that.

My hands tucked away in my pants pockets as I walked down the same side walk I had walked down last night when walking Isedon home. We had stayed at the park most of the day, just enjoying the scenery, before finding some dinner, and now I was taking her home. "I had a nice day with you, Isedon."
I said with a smile down at her. Just one more turn and we'd be close by her house.

Isedon was much more comfortable around Nick now. His company had been a balm to her family and she really liked him now. She grinned back when he said that he had a nice day with her. "I had a nice day too," she said.
As they rounded the corner to her house, she stopped and shook her head. "But I don't want to go back home," she murmured softly.

I frowned. I had successfully brought a smile to her face. Maybe even have her forget the troubles of life, if only for a couple hours. But reality was probably setting in now. "Then don't go."
I said, more pleading. I don't know where she'd go, but wherever she did, I wouldn't be afraid to help financially. Or in any way.

I stopped walking and said, "I wouldn't force you to pay money. I'd have money for food for you. You could get away from your parents... It's a good idea. Great, actually."
