When the bell rang to end the class, Acheron waited for the rest of the class to leave before standing up and slinging his backpack across one shoulder before he stretched tiredly. For some strange reason, even if he got a good nights rest, he was always tired during his classes. He never understood that.
Scratching his chin lightly with his claws, he headed towards the door and accidentally bumped into Ayase. Staggering back a step, he rubbed at his chest and glanced at the new kid. "You alright?" he asked.

Something bumped into him suddenly, knocking him over. His bag opened and the contents scattered on the floor. He started to gather his belongings awkwardly. "I'm fine," Ayase replied, emotionless and empty. I can't believe I ran into him! Ayase thought, I need to be more careful! He glanced up at Acheron, his eyes fell upon the boy's claws. He shifted his eyes away. So he is like me, but I can't talk to him now. I should keep an eye on him for the time being.

Acheron's jade eyes narrowed somewhat at the empty, emotionless reply the new kid gave him. But, he crouched and helped clean up the mess he basically helped cause. His claws half-scraped against the linoleum floor as he scooped up a few notebooks. Handing them back to Ayase, he set his elbows on his knees.
"Don't be afraid to show some emotions," the shifter advised. "Your too stoic. Better to show some emotions and get called out on it, than show none at all." He glanced out into the hallway were peers were moving towards their next period class. "I know some of these girls would like to get close to you."
He offered a forced smile. Acheron didn't like smiling. It revealed his fangs and often he thought other people would see them. But nobody ever did. Still, he didn't like revealing his teeth.
"Let me help you find your next class, at least," he said, tilting his head to one side.

Ayase couldn't figure this guy out. He was acting too nice, no one is that kind unless they want something from you. People would only be nice to Ayase to get a portion of his family's fortune. They always have other motives, but Acheron didn't know about his family. Ayase couldn't give Acheron anything now, so what did he want from him? The boy hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded his head. His belongings were all together in his bag, with the help of Acheron and he was about to aimlessly look for his class, so he could use the help. Although, he still didn't trust this guy yet. He continued to watch him cautiously, fearing a catch to his kindness.

Acheron stood and shifted the back pack on his own shoulders when Ayase nodded. Good, so the boy was open for help. If a bit hesitantly. "Then let me see your schedule so I can help," he said, holding out one claw-tipped hand.
And now that he was this close to the boy, he could sense something about him was the same. Same? Impossi- No. Highly unlikely; maybe even quiet possible. Though, he still didn't know if this boy could see his... other features.

He pulled out his schedule and handed it to Acheron, eying him wearily out of the corner of his eye. Ayase hoped Acheron knew what he was doing, the school was pretty confusing and he couldn't afford to waste any time to get to his next class. What if Acheron wants me to get lost, Ayase thought suddenly, He could be messing with me. Yeah! Getting my hopes up, just to destroy me. He really is an evil guy. . .maybe I should find a way to escape. Ayase looked from side to side. Calm down. I just need the right opportunity. If he would only look away for a minute, I could be on my way. Ayase's thoughts were jumbled up, and they hardly made any sense because he was panicking. This was the longest he had ever spoken to someone his own age, and his ideas seemed right at the time.

Acheron looked over the list with a careful eye, noting teacher names, room numbers, and subject titles. As he read over it, he saw that the new kid had several classes with him. And his next one was right across the hall from his. Handing the paper back, he said, "Your next class is across from mine, I can drop you off there without being late for mine."
He moved to head out the door. "Just follow me. I may have been here a month, but I know my way around the school pretty well."

Ayase looked at him with doubt, but he didn't have much of a choice. He followed Acheron reluctantly, often glancing around like a bunny afraid of predators. He gazed at Acheron, hoping he wouldn't try to talk much, Ayase didn't want to say the wrong things and get him mad. While walking through the halls, he noticed people staring at them. However, this time they weren't looking at him but at Acheron. I guess people are intimidated by him too.

Acheron stayed silent as he leg Ayase through the halls. His hands were back into his pockets and he stared straight ahead, not bothering to look at the people giving them looks. He shouldered a staircase door open, holding it for Ayase to catch it before leading him up the stairs and out the doors up there.
On the second floor, he took a left before stopping before a doorway. He turned back to Ayase. "Here ya'go. If ya' need help finding your next class, just wait for me over there," he said, pointing at the doorway that was his classroom before moving off towards it.

Even though he didn't think he trusted Acheron, he unexpectedly grabbed the bottom of his shirt as he turned to leave. He realized with a strange fear that they would depart and Ayase felt a tinge of loneliness. He looked up at Acheron, eyes glistening,"Do you...really have to go?" He didn't want to be alone again, he was so tired of being alone. Ayase was terrified of him leaving, even though they just met.

Acheron felt a strange pull on the bottom of his shirt. He turned to find Ayase holding it with tear-filled eyes. Well, he suddenly felt extremely awkward. He scratched one side of his head, crimson strains getting caught in his claws as he pulled his hand away.
"Uh, yea. I really don't need to get in trouble. Plus you'll see me in forty-five minutes," he said. Forty-five minutes as usually how long a class lasted.

"But...," he paused, looking at the ground and mumbled,"I can't." "I can't do this anymore!" he ran off, stumbling. He couldn't handle it anymore, emotions were overflowing within him and he didn't know what to do. He refused to go to his next class alone, he couldn't bear it, not again. He kept his pace and tried to find a place to hide until school was out.

"Oi! Hey!" Acheron shouted when Ayase ran off and he followed after the boy. His long legs and strides soon made him able to catch up with the boy. Reaching out with one hand, his claws snagged the boy's collar and he slowed to a stop, halting Ayase too.
Breathing heavily, Acheron forced Ayase around. His jade-green eyes glinting angrily and a few strands of his dark crimson hair fell into his eyes, falling out of the loose braid he held it in. "We have other classes together. Including lunch." A snarl curled his lips. "Gods, act your age, not your shoe size."
Then, he began hauling Ayase back towards his class. The bell had already rung and Acheron was starting to get into a foul mood. "We only have two classes apart. This one. And the one right after lunch. Man up."
Leaving the kid in front of the classroom, Acheron made a bee-line towards his and as soon as he entered, the teacher looked like he was about to argue. But something in Acheron's eyes made the man think better and he motioned for Acheron to take a seat. The shifter did.
"God, Acheron. What happened to your braid? Here lemme fix it," said a sweet female voice behind him. There was a faint tug as she pulled out the tie and ran her fingers through his hair. Even without looking, he could identify her by her scent. It was Cira.
Relaxing in the metal chair of the desk, he let her fix his braid and let her scent sooth away his previous anger. There was something about her that just made him calm down... Made him smile when nothing else could. Even though, he wondered if she would accept him if she knew he could shape-change...

Everything happened so fast and soon he was back at his classroom's door. People inside the class were already staring at him, making him uneasy. He glanced back in Acheron's direction, he was already gone. Ayase reluctantly sneaked into his classroom, trying not to attract much attention.
However, his attempt failed. The whole period was spent with pestering questions, stares, and jokes about him made from jealous people. The boy shifted in his seat, continuously glancing at the clock, watching time slowly pass by.

For Acheron, the period went by rather quickly. And he was rather reluctant to get up when the bell rang. Tilting his head back to meet Cira's bright green eyes, he moaned, "I don't wanna leave. I want to feel your fingers some more."
Cira chuckled and gently patted his cheek before kissing his forehead. "That will have to wait until lunch, Ash!" she said cheerfully as she bounded out of the room with a bunch of her other friends.
Acheron surprised a growl as he watched her leave. Though, he stood and gathered his backpack as he wondered if Ayase would be waiting for him.

Ayase was pacing at the "waiting spot". He was getting nervous while waiting, what if Acheron never came. He could be long gone and laughing at the situation right now. The thought made Ayase's stomach turn.
He didn't know where he was going and he didn't want to be alone anymore. Then again, Acheron did snap at him last time.
Did I do something to upset him? Is he still mad? Oh, I hope he isn't mad at me!
He continued to pace, wondering if he should try to find his way on his own.

Acheron watched the pacing Ayase for a full minute. He held up one hand and pushed it gently in the other male's forehead; stopping him. "Stop. I'm getting tired just watching you," he said, his head cocking to one side. He smelled so anxious. Acheron got the impression that Ayase had been worried Acheron wasn't going to show.
He snorted faintly.
"This way," he said, leading them off in another direction.

Ayase followed Acheron like a puppy. There was a crowd of people and Ayase thought he would loose sight of him, he instinctively reached out and grabbed the bottom of his shirt. This way we won't be seperated, if I get lost I'm done for.
Just then someone bumped into Ayase. The boy lost his grip of Acheron and was swept away by the crowd. Once the crowd died down, Ayase realized he was all alone.
At first he just stood there, shocked. When he snapped out of it he started to panick. He was lost. Tears filled in his eyes, spilling onto his cheeks.
He had been lost before, just for some "helpful people" to find him. He had suppressed the event from his mind, but now the memory was coming back. He shuddered, he didn't want it to happen again. He collapsed to the ground and continued to cry.

Acheron felt Ayase's hand on the back of his shirt again. He didn't mind it. Though, it would be mighty useful in this crazy hall. But as he turned a corner, he felt Ayase's hand slip away. Acheron cursed and doubled back; having to ride the lockers to do so.
When the halls finally cleared, he breathed a sigh of relief. Though, he soon found the new kid on the ground, sobbing. With a faint groan, Acheron ran his fingers through the strainds that Cira didn't add in the braid before crouch down.
"Your gonna have to dry your tears," Acheron said.

He looked up to see Acheron staring down at him. He tried to wipe his tears as Acheron suggested, but the relief of seeing him made him cry even more.
"I'm sorry," he said in between sobs,"You probably hate me. It's just I..."
HIs thoughts became jumbled. He wanted to explain to Acheron so that he wouldn't be angry anymore, but he didn't really undertand himself.
Ayase just wanted to hide. He showed emotions that he had kept hidden for so long, some emotions he even tried to hide. Ayase was embarrassed at himself for crying so much. He continued to choke out apologies.
