Acheron released him and walked back towards his seat with Cira. Who had already bought some food for herself and Ayase at Acheron's request. He had his own lunch in his backpack and he was starving. But before they got even remotely close to sitting down, he turned back towards Ayase and hissed in an undertone, "Because nobody bothered to let me know that there would be another one."
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

Ayase's eyes went wide with shock at his tone. His aura made the boy tremble with fear, then unexpectedly he turned calm.
"Just be sure to watch your back. If you lay one hand on this body, I will tear you to shreds," he replied in a cold voice.

Acheron just smirked at him, not noticing in the least at his change of tone and how cold it was. In fact, the smirk was more like a challenge. "Oh really?" he asked before sitting down next to Cira, who happened to look up from a book she was reading while eating.
"Oh really what?" she asked, head tilted to one side with blue eyes wide with slight confusion.
Acheron shook his head and pecked a kiss on her cheek before pulling his own lunch out of his backpack.
With a shrug, Cira turned towards Ayase. "I got you some food," she said, pointed to the food pile across from them. "I don't know what you wanted so I took a shot in the dark," she added, her voice apologetic.

Ayase's dark aura disappeared at the sight of food. His eyes lit up and he eagerly received the lunch. He used the utensils provided and hurriedly stuffed his face.
Ayase smiled to himself, the food was good, it reminded him of home. He was glad that he found something else that reminded him of his real home.
"Thank you, kind lady, for your kindness!"

Cira blushed delicately at that and stammered something out. Though it was incoherent at best. Acheron just chuckled before he started his own meal since Ayase had basically inhaled his and Cira was nibbling on her ham sandwich.

Acheron brought fear into his very body, he couldn't handle it. His mind went blank. Something inside of Ayase told him not to worry, he let it take over.
Ayase stopped chewing his food and shot Acheron a glare. The cold aura was returning. The boy shot Acheron a glare, challenging him. He misjudged Acheron, he was really a threat. By no means was he a friend.
Even though they were the same in what they were, they were different. They would never be friends.

Acheron felt Ayase's glare and returned one of his own as he took a bite of his own sandwich. Which probably wasn't really intimidating. But, oh well. He was hungry and he was going to eat. Then, Ayase's face was cut out as a hand covered his jade eyes.
"Stop glaring, Ash. Your eyes went Peridot again. Cold," Cira said as she leaned against his shoulder slightly, causing him to relax even though he had no clue he even tensed up. "Keep them Jade, please. For me?"
Acheron sighed, and tilted his head back to look at her with his weathered jade eyes. "For you," he said, like a small promise.

Ayase pushed back his tray roughly, stood up, and headed to dump his food. His nails extended into claws, he was becoming agitated. He couldn't wait to tear into Acheron. He was making Ayase uneasy, which deserved death.
He is the one getting angry first, I'm just merely defending myself.
