"Believe me, it's not. He almost killed me." I said the last part with a snarl. "Now, they are only a minute away. I need to concentrate." I told them.

"Right." He closed his eyes as well and went into slight hibernation mode in order to concentrate more and he focused on the fight approaching, his body still vibrating with anticipation.

They breached the trees in a minute. One let out a snarl. A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. I lifted my tail. That was the signal to attack. I flashed over to Keneth. I looked into his deep eyes for a moment before biting into it. his blood filled my mouth. My tounge tried to push it back out, the tase of it was horrid. I heard multiple snarls and howls as the other wolves attaked each of their prey, each gorgon had two wolves on them. Keneth shoved me back off of him, knocking me to the ground a few feet away. He charged me, grabbing my front leg and breaking it. I let out a ear pearcing howl.

He had been fighting some other gorgons, but when he heard Jazz cry out in pain, he charged at Kenneth. "DIE!" He shouted, charging into the large wolf, knocking him away from Jazz. He then bit onto the back of his neck, biting down hard, trying to break it.

"Stop Devillin!" I shouted. "He's mine." I told him, pouncing on Kenneth again.

He let go of the wolf and let Jazz have him. He then went on to fight the other gorgons.

As I tore at him he shoved me off again. "Tac'ak ta'ha." He grumbled at me. I smiled. "What you mean is 'You can realy kick my ass'?" I asked him. He laughed in that same old way he used to. I smilled. "Yeah, I know. You miss me kicking your ass. I know. I miss having some one that I can kill three hundred times." I told him with a laugh. He walked twards me. I ran to the center of the feild, closing my eyes. He tried to jump into me, but I dodged him. He tried again, missing. We 'danced' for a while. I heard the last unpleasent grumbles of the gorgons as the wolves finished them off. They watched me dodge him, ocasionaly asking Devillin questions whitch he usualy anwsered with a 'Shut up!' or 'Be quiet, she needs to concentrate!'

He otherwise watched her without a word. He enjoyed watching her movements that seemed so flew-id...like a graceful swan in flight. -She's so beautiful...I don't deserve one such as her...but I will keep on trying to have her.- He smiled slightly.

I dodged him again and again. It was getting dark. I smiled. "Getting tierd Kenneth?" I tanted him. He let out a snarl. My smile grew to a grin. I had the advantage in two ways. One, He couldn't see, smell, or even think well in the dark. Two, I was at my peak in the dark.

He watched silently, hoping that she could keep this up, she did have a broken leg after all. If she faltered and Kenneth got the upper hand, he would attack.

As the darkness took over Kenneth slowed. I knew I just had to keep the up a little longer. He would soon be mine.

He continued to watch the two of them closely. "Come on, Jazz. You can do it." He whispered.

I dodged him again and again. At about midnight I heard him stop. "Ta'nai Ta'honbwa." He said an that rough voice of him. I smiled. I knew this was the time. I ran over to him, eyes still closed. "Ta'rac Ta'hanic!" I told him. He understood. I heard Kineer ask Devillin somthing. I didn't wait for a reply. I chased Kenneth into the trees. "Stay!" I told the others as I did so. I listened as Devillin nodded. Once we were into the trees about five milles, I lunged at Kenneth. "Ta'na La'tahas!" I told him. It ment 'Run and live to fight another day.' I let him up. He mumbled somthing and then ran to the North, in the direction opposite of the meadow. I came back to the meadow, walking over to Devillin.

He gently nuzzled her before looking at her rather sternly. "You let him go." He then let out a sigh and shrugged. "Let's get you settled someplace comfortable, and take care of that broken leg of yours."

"I'm fine!" I told him as I shoved him away. He looked confused. "What was that backthere beofre your brother came by?" I asked him, rather irritated.

He looked at her even more confused. "What do you mean?" His eyes were wide as he stared at her as if she had gone crazy and was spouting nonsense.

He started to back away. "I couldn't have...there's no way." He turned and bolted away, heading north.

I watched him bolt away. "Yeah, just like him." I muttered to myself. I walked over to Kineer. "I'll be right back..." I told him. He nodded and I bolted to the north, following Devillin.
