He sighed and jumped back into the water. "Don't blame me if something goes wrong." He called over his shoulder as he swam away.

"We meet back at the cavern, the one where you broke all my traps!" I called to him before I "jumped" I guess you could call it. I jumped multiple times, staying quite far ahead of th fire.

He soon was able to see a stop in the fire and climbed out of the water and ran in the direction of the cave, hoping deep down that Jazz, his brother and the other wolves were safe.

Hours passed as I walked back to the caves. I had sucesfully out ran the fire. I was only minutes away from my caves, and I was exausted. I was panting heavily, like I had never done before. I could see the caves entrance, but I was loosing my vision. I decided to lay down and take a break. That was a bad choice. As soon as I sat down, I passed out.

He soon found her past out. He lifted her onto his back and carried her into the caves before going off to find something to eat. He soon caught a couple of rabbits. One he ate and the other he carried back to the cave. He left again and worked on carving a large bowl out of dead would from a tree trunk and used a piece of sharp rock to carve it. Once done he filled it with water and went back to the cave and placed it next to the rabbit. He laid down on the other side of the cave and soon fell asleep.

I woke to him sleeping and the smell of rabbits filling the cave. I looked up and saw the bowl of water and took a long drink. I then ate the rabbit. Minutes later I found I was still hungry. I walked out of the cave in search of food. As soon as I was out of the cave I cought the smell of a Diike. I tracked it for a while, then found it in my meadow. I crouched down in the usual attack position, then leaped for it. I grabbed the neck with my mouth, instantly killing it.

He woke to find her gone and he grew worried. He bolted upright and sniffed around. He soon found her sent and followed it to the meadow. When he saw she was fine he laid down and watched her, a large smile on his face. He was proud to have found someone as strong as her.

I looked over my sholder and saw him, stairing at me. I had blood on my mouth from eating. I smiled at him before speaking. "Come and join me! I'm sorry if I worried you, I was just a little hungrier than usual..." I said, then returned to my kill.

He smiled. "It's fine, I'm not hungry. Also it's ok that you left. I just wanted to make sure that you were fine to be up and around. You exhausted yourself big time from outrunning that fire." His tail wagged a little, happy that she was truly fine. "Eat all you want."

I smiled to myself, then looked up at him. "It was the running back that tierd me." I shook my head in wonder. "It is curious how hungry I was! It was to unnatural for me..." I told him, my head looking down to my chest. I let out a small gasp. "What?" I said to myself quietly.

He looked at her, both confused and worried. "Is everything alright?" He got up and walked over to her and gave her a gentle nuzzle.

"Uh... Yeah... It's just it looks as if I've gained a pound or two... I havn't done that for atleast five years, when the Gorgons relesed me..." I said, confused and concerned.

He gave her cheek a lick then nuzzled her once more. "It's a good thing that you gained a pound or two...Isn't it?"

I sighed, turning my head up to face him. "No, actualy it is quite bad. I've never been able to put on weight so quickly. The last time I did my body could barly handle it. I became very sick and I was almost cought by the Gorgons." I said, looking worried. "Another thing that worries me is this happened almost overnight. It wasn't there yesterday." I said, shaking my head.

He looked at her, his eyes slowly widening. "Do you think that maybe...you might be...you know..." He fidgeted uneasily.

My eyes widened slightly that he came to the same conclusion I had earlier. "It might be. I thought of it earlier, but I didn't want to alarm you. The last time I put on weight like this the sickness happened within a few hours. We will have to wait for a while and see." I said, looking deep into his eyes, but staying calm.

I laughed lightly. "You realy think I... Well.. Mabe..." I said, smiling at the thought. His grew hard and my smile grew even bigger.

I burst out laughing, not able to control it. "You realy think that I would want to be with anyone but you? That's what is so funny. And so is the look on your face!" I said, almost choking I was laughing so hard.
