I frowned. "Well then you will just have to pull your self away. I'm more danger than I'm worth, believe me." I said as I looked down at the scar under my front left leg. "Leave me now, and save your self." I said, standing up to leave. He grabbed ahold of me ear gentaily and held me back.

He let go of her ear. "Don't go..." He said looking at the ground somewhat embarrassed that he was saying such a thing. Normally he would avoid other wolves, but for some reason he felt like he could not let her leave or else he would never see her again.

He shook his head. "I won't leave. If you tell me to go and walk off, I will just follow." He stared up at the sky for a bit before looking back at her. "Let me come with you..." He shifted a little getting embarrassed all over again.

My tail started wagging slightly. I tried to stop it, but to no use. "Hanata!" I muttered under my breath. "It is at your own risk. I warn you, this will not be easy." I told him, looking deep into his eyes, letting it sink in.

He shrugged, a large grin on his face. "So? I'm just glad that you are letting me stay." His eyes shown brightly, reflecting his joy, and his tail wagged like crazy.

He chuckled at the pup comment. "It's Devillin. What is yours if I might as oh, beautiful one?" He asked with a large smile. His tail stilled and he tilted his head waiting for her reply.

He laughed. "I go wherever." He shrugged. "I have no constant place. I guess you could say I go where the food is." He smiled. "And sorry for making you upset, but you are beautiful."

He looked at the ground not saying anything for a bit before replying. "I was the youngest of two sons of a pack leader and well....I got in a fight with my brother and almost killed him. After that I was forever exiled. I was seven at the time and so I've been wandering for the past twelve years." He did not look up as he said this. His ears drooping, ashamed of himself.

I laughed at him. "You have it easy compaired to my life. Suck it up. That you went through is nothing like what you are going to go through if you stay with me. I don't think you can do this!" I said, still trying to get him to leave. "You don't belong here, you are to weak!" I exclaimed, circling him, taunting him.

His head jerked up, his eyes narrowing and the color of his eyes getting ice like. "Is that a fact." He asked darkly, baring his teeth in a snarl. His character completely doing a one eighty. One minute acting like a little kid now a tough guy. "Try me. I dare you."

I continued circling him. This was just too easy. He had absolutley no self control. "Believe me, you don't want me to. That little quarl we had earlier, that was a kid fight. If you realy wanted me to fight you, I would kill you, no hesitation." I said, taunting him even more. I could see this angered him, and that is what I wanted. I knew if he got this angry he was irrational and would slip up on the first move.

He continued to glare, moving into a fighting stance. "Bring it." His eyes became like cold ice and inside he forced himself to get a grip on his control. He was able, but he put on the front that he was losing it, but his body began to shake with anticipation. He wanted to fight, he loved to fight, and finally he was getting one.

I smiled. I knew that place where this fight would atleast give him a chance of winning over me. "First, we need to move. The humans are close, I can smell them." I said. It was true, the humans were close. I bolted off back to the North, then to the East. I heard him behind me, panting heavily again. We ran for a while, then we came to a meadow. 'Perfect!' I thought. I came into the middle and sat down, my eyes closed. I was concentrating. I heard every little sound everything made. I could hear the song of a bird miles away. I heard him breathing heavily, walking in circles around me.

He finally stopped and slowed his breathing until it was controlled and barely made any sound at all. He stood there watcher her. -She is so gorgeous when the sun hits her coat like it is. It makes her look like she is made of gold.- He smiled as he thought this, before shaking his head and concentrated back on the fight at hand. He moved into a fighting stance once more, waiting for her to make the first strike.

I heard him slow his breathing, to bearly nothing. I sat there, not movinga muscle. I knew he would be getting wierd soon, keeping the stance he was in, and breathign so lightly. He was distracted by me. One more reason I chose this place. I heard him getting iratated. 'Not much longer' I told myself. He was getting impatient. I was getting stronger.

He knew he was losing and he fought against it. He closed his eyes for a bit until he had complete control of himself once more. -I won't lose to her...or anyone.- His eyes snapped open and he imagined her as his brother and it helped him keep control. He stayed in the fighting stance, his breathing growing even quieter as his mind was now totally focused on the fight and nothing else. His body seemed to vibrate with pure energy...vibrate with anticipation.
