He sighed then shook his head, moving his paw off of her. He straightened, going full height. "I also swore that I would stay with you and love you, even if it killed me. I will follow no matter what. If you try to kill me so be it." There was no ex
pression on his face for he was dead serious. His voice also got deeper as he was filled with determination to stay with the one he loved. "And you are not weak. Loving someone only makes you stronger."

I sighed. "Why won't you just leave me alone!" I yelled at him, looking angry. "All you do is make me angry! I don't want to be with you! I hate you!" I said as I ran out of the cave. My foot caught on one of the traps as I ran. I ignored it, and continued into the trees. I ran for hours, getting incresingly tierd. After about six hours I stopped and rested. After another three I fell asleep.

He hung his head and his tail went between his legs, his heart feeling as if it had just been crushed. His head suddenly jerked up when he remember that her leg and got in a trap. He knew she didn't have any of those special herbs with her either. He rushed to a wall and grabbed some and bolted out of the cave and began to track her. He controlled his breathing so he could run faster and farther than if he didn't. He caught up to her in about five hours. He found her asleep and he set the herbs down. He searched for a flat rock and quickly found one. He brought over to her. He put the herbs on it before grabbing another rock to crush them into powder. He then wrapped his jaws gently around the trap and bit down, quickly breaking the trap open. He tossed the pieces aside before applying the herbs. He went off to hunt and before long he had caught a rabbit. He placed it near Jazz for her to eat when she woke. He then moved off, out of sight, smell and hearing range. He though had found an area where he could keep an eye on her just to see if she would be alright, and to see if the herbs worked or not.

I was asleep for many hours and then woke with a gasp. I noticed manythings all at once. There was fresh kill neer by, I had been moved, and I should have been dead by now. I quickly jumped to my feet, and then fell back down. I hit my head on a rock and was knocked unconcous again.

He saw what had happened and he jumped up and ran to her to make sure she hadn't broken the skin on her head. He sighed with relief when he noticed she had not. He moved her again away from any rocks and onto a nice soft patch of moss that was growing nearby. He then moved the rabbit by her once more, before going back to his hiding spot. He knew that she would not be able to see, smell or hear him from where he was, but he was able to continue to watch her. His heart full of worry.

After even more time I woke. It had just gotten dark, and I noticed three things at once, again. I had been moved agian. The kill had not been eaten, and it was even closer now, and I should stay laying down for now. I turned and twisted my head, and spotted the rabbit. I crawled over to it and quickly ate it. As I finished, I smelled a faint wolf like smell. I quickly asked my self if I was strong enoughto get up, and everyhting checked out. I stood up quickly and looked around. I didn't see anyhting from where I was, and so I moved around. I went to the East a ways, and then picked up on the scent. It was Devillin's.

He smiled as he watched her, glad that she was alright. He was also somewhat glad that she had picked up his scent. He stayed where he was, wondering what she would do. Would she leave, or would she go to him. If she chose the latter, would she attack him or would she tell him off before leaving...or, he hoped, she would stay with him.

I knew he could see me. I felt his eyes on me as I tracked him. I followed his scent right up to him. I looked him in the eyed and growled. "I told you to leave me alone!" I snarled at him. "Please don't make me do this Devillin!" I asked him, almost begging him.

He did not move from where he was lying. "You would have died if I had not brought those herbs to you. I have done nothing else." He laid his head down on his front paws, still keeping his eyes on her.

He sighed and stood up, but he did nothing that would say he was a threat. He just stood there all nonchalant like, as if he had no care in the world.

He didn't move, nor did he make any sign of acknowledgement to what she had just ordered. Though after a minute or two he moved to a seated position and that was it.

I lunged at him, knocking him on his back. He tumbled over and I crouched in the attack positon agian.
