I ran to my locker; I was in a good mood and had so much energy inside. I felt great, but had no idea why. People were already beginning to ignore us. I supposed they had enough, but quickly changed my mind. Populars never stopped. 

Nearing my locker, I popped it open. I'd slipped the lock on, knowing they'd have stolen my things if I hadn't. Grabbing my lunch, I locked it once more, running up to James and Timothy, Paradise a little ways behind. I walked over to her, beginning to join up at her side as to follow her once again.  I wondered if she'd ever get annoyed of it, but ever since not long ago, I'd been following her like a puppy did a master. That sounded odd for me, but it was only what my friends told me. 

We decided to go to the cafeteria all at once, so that no one would get beat up or anything like that.  

Paradise walked in the cafeteria with the 3 others, and went in line for buying lunch. She found herself much quieter when his 2 other friends were around. But she didn't mind them. They were much better then anyone else at this school. And she was always quiet anyways. So there was nothing knew.

After she got her food, she went up to Lake, and said, "where are we going to go, if not the cafeteria?" She asked, cocking her head slightly.

I waited until my three friends had gathered. "We should eat outside today. The weather is nice; it's cloudy." I smiled, leading them to the building doors. Walking outside, I came near a tree, plopping down onto the ground. I guess I wouldn't call it shade, being the sun wasn't out, but the weather was nice, between warm and cool, and there were no bugs in sight. And oh how I hated bugs. 

I bit down into my sandwich before James and Timothy were even seated. I was hungry after today, and though I had a plenty energy, I was starving like... something that was starving. I don't know. I apparently wasn't even good at coming up with witty things in my mind. It somehow annoyed me... 

I turned to Paradise, just to see her touch her eye. The bruise wasn't that noticeable, luckily for her, but it was sure to hurt for some time. I slightly laughed, turning back to my sandwich. The others were eating their cafeteria food, and I was wondering whether it tasted like cheese, hot sauce, soap, or shampoo to them this time. They'd mentioned that they didn't prefer school food, however, their parents didn't make hem lunches and they were too lazy to make it themselves. Finishing my lunch, I tossed it into the brown paper bag I'd placed the food in this morning, making a mental note to toss it on the way inside the building.

Our lunch was fairly silent; there were limited things to speak of, though James did tell about his awkward math period a week ago, and Timothy told some crippled jokes. I honestly didn't like calling them crippled. It made me feel that if you did, you were insulting lame people. Not lame as in dumb, but lame as in... crippled. I was fine with dumb jokes, but that just insulted Timmy. Honestly, I liked the "dumb" jokes. Not for their name, but because of how completely awkward the joke itself is. In my opinion, they were the best kinds of jokes, because I actually understood them.

Paradise finished her food, and got up and threw the trash away. It was quite awkward and silent with the other 2. Usually her and Lake weren't this...Silent and awkward. She thought for a moment, that maybe something was wrong with him. Or maybe he was upset about something. But she shook the thought off, knowing she was wrong. If something was up with Lake, he'd be acting, 'not himself'. As in not skipping around the hallway and things like that.

She sat back down with them, but stayed silent. ANd licking her lips out of habit. In her head, she was thinking about why she thought about Lake so much. She knew that even friends don't think about eachother the way she thought of Lake. Like when she made sure she was next to him, or just now, when she worried about if he was 'upset' about something. She tried to get the question out of her mind, but she wasn't really able too.

I eyed Paradise, who seemed to be in thought of something important. I hesitated before opening my mouth to speak. "Are you all right, Paradise?" I looked into her eyes, a soft smile plastered on my face. I wondered if she was still shaken up about what had happened earlier. Today was long and so strange. I tried to think of how it would be if I were in her shoes. Then again, I wasn't really ever beaten up. 

Paradise grabbed his hand, and balenced herself up. As she let go, she said, "Like gym is any better." Rolling her eyes, at the fate of having gym, she did a quick wave to them, and ran inside. The gym teacher never wanted her to be late, even though all she did was sit around and draw like usual. But she didn't want to get in trouble again. She HATED getting in trouble, and having that attention all for her.

When she got to the gym, she ran to the locker room and got changed. Wanting to be in there, before all the girls did. Who knows if more drama/fights could start up again. Before she walked out with her sketch book in hand, she checked her eye by the reflection in the mirror. Smiling by it not being that noticeable, she walked out to the gym again. And sat down on the ground. Drawing again.

I walked with my friends into the building; we separated to our clas.ses. Upon reaching Calculus, I was late, forced to having to sit in the front of the cl*censored*, probably the worst, being the teacher knew how to spit on his students. Quizzes were handed out and I immediately set to work on it, attempting to finish early and still accurately. 

Racing through, I finished, flipping it over and leaving it on my table as I began to take more notes. I finished early, well, somewhat, and doodled for the rest of the cl*censored* period. Being bored, as usual, I drew chickens, just because I rwally had nothing else to draw. I stopped short, a glimpse of Paraidse popping into my mind. Honestly, she didn't seem like the kind of person that would participate in PE. I pictured her away from the others, drawing, suddenly wondering if she was doing that at the moment. I shook the thought out of my head, embarras.sed that I was seeing her of all people in my mind. 

Smiling, I stood as the bell rang, grabbing my bag and walking out of the room. Running to the locker room, I quickly changed, joining up with Timmy and James. Together, we walked to Gym, pas.sing Paradise on the way, who I flashed a grin waved to as I walked by.

Paradise drew the whole period of PE, but everyonce in a while would look up to watch the 'brave' students to be able to run around like idiots and have fun. Smirking, she would just go back to drawing. At first she didn't know what she was drawing, but it just started to be a rabbit. (Because I love my rabbits XD) She saw Lake at the corner of her eyes, and the corner of her lips curved upwards, slightly. She looked up to see him wave, and she did a small wave back. Then going back to what she was drawing.

When she realized the bell rang, she got up, and ran back to the locker room. Changing, then ran to her next clas.s. Calculas. She also had a quiz, but she was pretty good at math. It was the only subject she was good in. Then she frowned. Looking in her backpack. Oh no... She thought. She forgot the book, in the gym. Right when she was about to get up to get it. The teacher glared at her, and told her to sit back down. Blushing, she did as she was told.

I entered the gym, seeing a book on the bleachers. Running over, I noticed it was a calculus book, important for my last clas.s, especially on a quiz day. Picking it up, I searched for a name, any name inside the book. On the cover was a very familiar one. My eyes widened and I sighed. "Great." 

No one was in the gym yet, aside from me, and my friends, who were dribbling a basketball. I ran out of the doors before anyone could enter, sprinting towards Calculus. Upon reaching the open door, I tripped, face planting onto the tile. It was just before the door, so no one would have seen it. Standing, I snuck into the room, running over to Paradise,  grin on her face. I placed it on her desk quietly, leaving a sticky note on it, reading, "You owe me" with a smiley face on it. I was odd like that. 

The teacher's back was turned, and I ran out of clas.s, slightly happy that the other students were randomly ignoring me. I ran back to gym, managing to step inside before the gym teacher came. I sighed in relief, beginning to dribble with my buddies.
