I removed my backpack when she approached to let her have a seat. I smiled warmly at her, returning to my PBJ sandwich. I made random sandwiches each day, mainly with what was in the cupboards. Like I said, Francis hated buying stuff. It costed money.

I eyed her lunch, and eyed my own. Cafeteria food always tasted like soap to me. Or hot sauce. Though it looked appetizing, I'd always had an as.sumption that the cooks poisoned the food. I wouldn't tell her that though; it might make her lose her appetite.

I watched her closely as she ate her food. I guessed many people didn't watch others doing these kind of things, that it wasn't normal, but I did. All the  time. Because of this, I was given nicknames I and my friends didn't appreciate. My reputation wasn't all that great and I only had two other friends beside Paradise, that is, if she even considered me one.

However, after our brief talk this morning, it seemed that none of that mattered. All the cruel things I faced seemed to fade away and I was contented just by being with her. It wasn't love at first sight, but there was an aura around her that pulled me in. It was like the gravity field on planet Deathstar in Star wars. Irresistible. Even if you didn't want to be happy, she somehow had something in her that made you smile. It was crazy, but amazing.

Paradise took a couple more bites, and swallowed and looked up at him. And blushed. Realizing that his eyes, were back on her. She quickly looked away, and bit her lip. Staying silent, from embarressment.

I smiled at her, noticing she noticed that I was watching her. I smiled down, slightly blushing, wondering what this mushy feeling inside was. I liked her. I honestly did. And I slightly hoped she felt the same way. FOr once, there was someone like me, who understood me. I think. I ran these things over in my mind, eventually finishing my food. Crumpling my paper bag, I aimed for a garbage can, managing to get it inside. "Score!" I laughed.

     Paradise laughed with him, but didn't do the same. She got up and threw her own trash away, knowing that if she did the same, she'd get in trouble. Because she already saw glares from some teachers. She wouldn't want to get in trouble. 

I also frowned, but a smile eventually sprung up on my face as I grinned down at her. I pat her back at slipped my hands into my pockets.

"I guess I'll see you sometime later than." I laughed softly, turning around. I stopped and walked back to her, a look on may face as if I was disgusted with myself for abandoning her. I checked my wristwatch.

"If you want, I can... walk you to the girl's locker room." I smiled sheepishly.

"Its okay..." She checked the time too, she had a couple minutes. But he embaressed himself enough, going with her to the girls locker room would be an offical total humiliation. "Your going to be late..." She actually wouldn't mind him walking with her, she was never independant. But she didn't want to get in trouble or anything. "I'll see ya around."

I smiled, waving as I began to walk down the hall, keeping my eyes on her. I hit someone and apologized. There goes my clumsiness again. Dashing to my cla.ss, I reached the room, taking a seat in the back, where I normally sat during this period. I took notes, doodling on the side of the paper. Ah, the way my mind worked would never change.

Paradise walked down the hall, when she turned left, she hoped to still see Lake in the hall way from the corner of her eyes. But she didn't. She bit her lip, as she walked through the crowd of people goofing off, around the locker rooms. Finally, she got to the womens changing room, changed, and procrasinated for going back out again. Having no desire to leave, she checked her phone, put her hair up, and did anything else she could to not go back out to the gym. She wasn't missing much. If she was out there, she'd probably be sitting on the ground drawing. Ironically, the gym teacher isn't as strict as other teachers. Sometimes he just lets the students run around, and do whatever they want. But she wasn't taking chances on going out there just yet. Since if they did do soccer or something, she would be humiliated. Since she was always one of the last ones picked to be on the team.

I felt myself falling asleep and blinked my eyes open, racing through the last of the problems on my Calculus test. I managed to finish just before the bell rang and handed it to the teacher, a successful smile on my face as I received an annoyed stare. I skipped happily out of cl*censored*, remembering my manliness, not that I had much, and stopped, walking like "normal people". My next cla.ss was PE. That was Paradise's last cla.ss. I hoped to see her before I switched clas.ses. I wondered what her next cl*censored* was, somewhat upset my last and this period hadn't been switched.

Paradise, thankfully, got to just sit and do what ever she wanted the whole period. She sighed, and sat on the floor, and drew again. She jumped when she heard the bell echo through the gym, and quickly got up, before anyone could see what she was doing. She got changed, and kept the sketch book, close to her waist, as she walked out of the gym

I spotted Paradise and waved to her, coming up to her. I noticed she was holding something to her waist tightly, but  I didn't question what it was. I had a guess about what it was, but said nothing. 

"Well, Gym I guess is next for me. Or, PE, or whatever. What's your next cl*censored*?" I tightened my grip on my bag, adjusting it more tightly on my shoulder.
