At first I panicked, but after hearing all she'd said, I felt more comfortable. "That's good. You're the first "girl" friend I've made. You know how I mean that though, right?" I'd never made friends with girlds before. It was a new experience.

   I heard a door slam, figuring Francis was home. I slowly got up off my bed, walking to my door, leaning out of over the small rail. Francis stared at me from the lowere level, aka, downstairs. I waved, and he back.

"Did you finish your homework?" He called up. I nodded. "Did you?" I smirked. He sighed, ignoring me and walking off into the kitchen for something to snack on. Francis hated college work and any schoolwork he had to do in highschool. I turned back to Paradise.

(New experience! GOSH this is funny XD I sorta have braindeadnesss...Can we time skip to when they eat or something? Unless you have another idea. Let me know :OOO ))

((I'll skip ahead a wee bit, lol))

"Hey! Lake! Get down here already, the pizza's here!" Francis's voice was heard from out of the room. I smiled at Paradise, walking out of the room and downstairs alongside her. Francis was at a table, two pizza boxes on the table, which meant he was hungry. He looked up, sencond glancing as he noticed Paradise.

"Who's your girlfriend?" He asked, setting out another plate. It wasn't an upset tone, he was just curious since I'd never brought anyone over before. I rolled my eyes. "She's not my girlfriend, sheesh. This is Paradise. She's a friend, okay?" I laughed. "Paradise, this is Francis, my cousin." I turned to her, pulling a chair out for her to sit down.

I sat down in my chair, leaning it backwards again. Francis smirked at me. "Use manners much?" I sat my chair on all four legs, sighing, annoyed.

Paradise smirked at how they treated eachother, but didn't say a word. She sat down, and bit her lip. Hoping noone at school thought the same thing, Francis did. She shook the thought off, and sighed while sitting silently.

I opened the pizza box for her so she'd be able to pick out a piece. Francis always bought half pepperoni and half cheese. I personally liked the hawaiian, but for the time being, pepperoni did. I slipped a piece onto my plate.

Francis watched us, constantly smiling like he knew something I didn't, shaking his head. I hated it when he did that to me. However, he seemed to know something was up. As for me, I remained cluless. Ignoring him most of the meal, I ate slowly as always, making sure not to stuff my mouth like a pig. I didn't do that, but I was hungry for an odd reason today.

I wiped my mouth with my napkin after eating two pieces, and threw away my garbage in the kitchen. I smiled at Paradise, watching her every movement. Francis tossed his garbage and walked back over to me, sitting down next to us. I hoped he wasn't going to do something embarras.ssing. Lucky for me, he didn't.

After Paradise took the last bite of her piece of pepperoni pizza ( I CAN"T SPELL), she did the same as Lake. Throwing away her trash. When she sat down, after throwing away her trash. She smirked at Lake, noticing how he was watching her. But she didn't think anything of it. She always accidently found herself staring at random people to. So she didn't look at him like he was some freak or something.

I blinked suddenly remembering something. I would have said it, but Francis would have got on my case about it. I grinned at Paradise, standing. Francis rolled his eyes for reasons unknown to me and walked up to his room, shutting the door. 

I paced for a couple minutes and neatly stacked the pizza boxes, retaking my seat. I smiled widely at her. "Thanks for coming over. I was really happy you were able to." I stared at my hands. "Well, I bet you've had enough weirdness for one night. You probably want to go home."

I looked up toward's Francis's door.  If he wasn't working, he was sleeping or eating. I sighed.

"So... obviously, he won't give you a ride home... once his door is shut, he's in there until tomorrow. Your place is probably far from here, right? I doubt you'd want to walk. Then I really don't want to have to deal with your mom for abducting you. IE, I really don't know how to explain to her. No offense." I waved my hands. "I could ride you over on my bike, if you don't think it to be too dangerous. You'll just need to point out directions to me." I second thought it. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea with my clumsiness, though I'd be extremely careful if she was on back.

I half smiled. "So, you want the bike? Or the walk? I'd walk with you," I paused looking out the window. It was getting dark and there were weird people on the streets at night. Glancing back at her, I waited for her answer. 

((Ehh! Brain lag-ness! lol)) 

Paradise shrugged. "It's a far walk down. I'll walk. You don't have to." Sure, she'd love someone to go with her, but she was fine going by herself. Following his eyes, out the window, she noticed it was getting dark. She looked back at Lake, before she changed her mind.

(OH NO'S!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR AMAZING TALENT OF MAKING LONG POSTS, EVEN WHEN MINE ARE SHORT!?!?!?

lol. Jk.)) 

I shrugged, walking towards the door. I grabbed my hoodie, draping it over my shoulder as I turned my head to her.

"It's a far walk. It'd be pretty bad if you were kidnapped on these streets. Trust, me, it happens a lot here. I'll walk with you, just in case some freaks come out. By the way, you ever hear that song "the freaks come out at night?" It was a weird reference, sure, but I honestly had no clue about why I'd brought it up in the first place. I did believe my ADD problem was real. It was almost impossible to stay on one subject for a minute or two. A sudden idea sparked my mind.

"You want to ride my bike there? I can walk you there, so sure you'll be pedaling pretty slow, but then I can ride it back on the way so the trip won't be so far. Or should we ditch my idea and walk?"

I laughed. "No." I continued pedaling, the wind in my face. It was sort of the feeling of being a dog sticking it's head out the window, not that I actually knew what that felt like. Well, I mean I did, but now. I shook it off, continuing. 

"Stopping at a bend, I put my feet onto the ground, looking at Paradise over my shoulder. "You okay back there? Which way do I turn?" I smiled at her.

Paradise smiled at his smile, and pointed over his shoulder. "Go left. My house isn't far from here." She knew, that if Lake and her had a closer friend relationship, she'd probably be wrapping her arms around his kneck and saying, 'I'm done! Get me off!!!' But instead, she tried to keep her cool, and keeping her finger tips on his back. It was helping her balence.
