((What?))

I nodded, beginning to pedal in one direction. I pedaled quickly, the air blowing gently against us once again. It was mean, but I was attempting, just to see how much she trusted me. Hoping she wouldn't hate me for it, I leaned slightly to one side almost near the ground, wondering about her reaction, though I had it under control.

Paradise held her breath, and couldn't help but slip her arms just a little around his waist. It was the one thing she could find, to hold on too at that moment. Usually it would be awkward. "You did that on purpose..." She said quietly. Yet smiling at the same time.

I nodded at her. "Anytime. You need a ride, someone to talk to, I'm here." I grinned. I paced my feet onto the ground, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Eh, thanks for coming over today. It made me happy. I guess... I'll see you tomorrow?" I tilted my head, slipping my hands back onto the handlebars; they'd fallen to rest at my sides. I'd wait until she entered the house before leaving completely. IT was only what anyone "should" have done.

I pedaled off, making my way back down the road. The streets seemed to be darker when you were alone. Thinking about it made me shiver. I made my way back to the own safety of my dwelling, hopping off my bike and running to the door, immediately unlocking it and shutting it. I raised my brows, hearing Francis's snoring from here. His work was this strenuous? I smirked, walking upstairs to my room. Changing, I stared out the window. There was a cold, hair prickling breeze as I shut it. 

Hopping into my bed, I stared, bored, at the gray ceiling. I felt so happy inside, but for once, it was Joy. The real, amazing, feeling of pure, Sheer joy.

Paradise smiled as she walked up to her bed room, and couldn't help but watch him ride back to his house, through her window. When he wasn't visible anymore, she climbed into bed, and went to sleep. Which oddly, was easier to do that night, then usual.

Paradise jumped from her alarm, and easily got up and turned it off. She smirked. Usually she felt like she was always just being dragged to school, but today she felt very different about it. Finally having someone there to talk to her once in a while.

After she was done getting ready, she checked to see if her mom was outside. Of course, like usual, she was on the phone. Paradise chose to just walk to school, not wanting to listen to her mom the whole ride there. Grabbing her backpack, she did a quiet. "Hey mom." Then smiled. Her mom put a finger up, to tell her to 'shut up' and walked inside the house. Frowning, Paradise started towards the school.

I rolled out of bed, face-planting on the floor. Blinking myself awake until my vision wasn't quite as blurred, I stood, groggily grabbing a pair of jeans. I changed into a fresh pair of clothing, slipping my high tops on. Splashing water on my face, I cracked my neck, walking out of the room. 

Francis shoved me into the car before I had a chance to get my breakfast. I sighed, hopping out of the car as we reached the school, watching Francis drive off. He was in a hurry. I headed towards my locker inside, tossing my hoodie inside. It was warm and I doubted I'd need it. I turned around, looking around for Paradise, who I'd thought to come to school this early all the time. I shut my locker, slipping my hands into my pockets before leaving the building and waiting there. I figured she wasn't here yet.

Paradise always liked walking to school, then riding with her mom. It seemed like she could use the fresh air, excersise and that time to think. She used to always take walks, when she was younger, and would think about what she should draw next. Smirking, she decided she'll start doing that again.

When she got to school, she took her backpack off, and sat on one of the benches. It took her 5 seconds to go to her locker, so she chose to do that some other time when more people showed up. Unzipping her backpack, she looked for her sketch pad. When she did, she searched for a pencil, and drew. (Not realizing Lake was there? Somehow lol.))

I sighed, in a huff. I was tempted to search the grounds, when the bell suddenly rang. I had hopes that I'd meet up with her in cla.ss and instead headed off to the first. Sitting where I had the day before with Paradise, I saved a seat for her, wondering if she'd like to sit where she had the day before. I was glad to have a new friend, someone who I felt more myself around. Sure it was a girl, but I bet she was better than all those stuck-up prep girls and cheerleaders. Much better.

Sitting in my seat, I impatiently tapped the floor with my foot, my eyes on the door, waiting for her to enter the room. If she did, anyway. 

Paradise jumped when she heard the bell ring, and quickly packed up her things. She found herself, looking around for Lake. She smirked, and shook her head. That was something new. She put her backpack on her back, and walked inside. Quickly going to her locker, and getting her things. And heading off towards her first clas.s, looking around the hall's looking for him, the whole way. 

When she found her right clas.s.room, she smirked, seeing Lake in the back. She sat where she did before, next to him, and said, "Hey."

She smiled at him. Someone was wondering where SHE went? Somone actually cared where SHE was? He was just too much for her. "I always sit outside on that bench when I get to school in the mornings." She didn't want to say that she was drawing though. It seemed like she was MUCH more modest about that, then Lake. She shrugged and did the same as him. Getting paper and pens out to start taking notes. 

I yawned as cla.ss came to an end, gaining myself a glare from the teacher. I loved to annoy teachers; I never seemed to get in trouble. Mentally laughing with a smirk on my face, in a strange way I might add, I hopped out of my seat just as the bell rang, tossing my paper into a random folder in my backpack. I doubted I'd ever look at it ever again; most of the things that went inside never came out. Or disappeared.... I had no clue. 

I sat my foot on the chair, tying my shoe as everyone left the room, leaving Paradise and myself. And the teacher. ((Random :P)) When everyone had taken their leave, I sided with Paradise, beginning to walk out of the room.  "So... how'd you sleep last night?" It was a random question pulled from my brain in the whereabouts of nowhere, but it was a good question to start the end of cl*censored*, or to end the start of cl*censored*, or... whatever. I just had t find something to talk about. Obviously, being inside, I wouldn't say something like, "Oh the weather's nice isn't it?" I continued walking, constantly glancing back at my new companion.
