Please, repost your character deions below. Wait until all deions are posted before making your first post. Posting order will be Wolf12, Woodwings, and Rika. The GM will post again, unless there is dialogue between two characters that can be resolved without my interference.
Setting:
Just moments ago, it feels, you were sitting in your classroom, having just received your first pokemon. Just moments ago, it seems, you had entered their information into your pokedex. Just moments ago, it appears, you were there, sitting together, discussing your adventure. But... where are you now? When you awaken, you are sitting in a triangle, leaning against rocks. Rocks? Surrounding you, the forest looms over your head, on all sides. The sun beats down on your head. But where are you? In front of you, theres a bag. Within the bag are five ultra balls, three super potions, two antidotes, two awakenings, to paralyze heals, two burn heals, two frost heals, and other specific items, strangely specific to each of you. Jake, you have in your bag a thunderstone, a magnet, a few cheri berries, and a letter. Arashi, you have in your bag a moon stone, a twisted spoon, a few persim berries, and a letter. Gabriel, you have in your bag a fire stone, a charcoal, a few rawst berries, and a letter. All of the letters say the same thing.
Welcome to Windhaven Wood. Do you want out? Good... The door needs the six keys, and you must secure all of them. Doing so will secure your place in honor. Fail, and you will never make it out alive. Search for clues, and you will find them. Show your skill, and be rewarded. Appearing weak will be your downfall. Show you are superior, and survive.
((Your first post should include waking up, realizing you're lost. Seeing your two friends, questioning what happened. Taking in surroundings. Looking through your bag. I would wait until all of you are awake together before you read the letter, so you can discuss your reactions together.))
Surroundings: You are surrounded on all sides by trees and greenery. The trees are tall, and appear climbable. You are sitting in a strangely man-made looking triangle, with the rocks you lean on marking each corner. You can hear the thrumming and hissing and growling of pokemon on all sides. Something is clearly wrong, but you can't decide what.

Name: Gabriel Marquis
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance (detailed please!): Gabriel is a tall, lanky, unimpressive-looking fellow. He appears as though he'd be unable to hold his own in a fight and his sheer willpower is what has gotten him as far as he's gotten. He has short, wavy brown hair and bright green eyes that compliment is olive skin tone. He stands at over six-foot-seven and often resorts to standing awkwardly in a manner that usually just makes him look gangly.
His face makes him look younger than he is, not yet free of the 'baby fat' stage. His eyes are often wide and inquisitive, curious about the world around him. He also has a few freckles across the bridge of his nose and his shoulders that seem to multiply when he's out in the sun too long.
Normally he wears nice things, like long-sleeve shirts with a sweatervest or something. His basic attire choices practically scream 'dork' or 'nerd', minus the fact that he actually has no need for glasses.
Personality: Curious and intelligent, Gabriel pays close attention tot he world around him. He wants to know more about it and wants to know more about pokemon as an extension of that. They are fascinating and have attracted his attention for many, many years, sicne he was but a small boy.
History (detailed please!): Gabriel has led a rather uneventful life for the most part, minus getting into a small bit of a scuffle with a wild lillipup that had been released a couple years prior. HE came out unharmed mostly, but from that day on he's been fascinated by Pokemon and has wanted to know as much about them as possible and vowed that once he was able to he would actively go out into the world of Pokemon to watch them in their natural environments. It's been an itch he just can't scratch.
Flaws: Physically weak, slight asthma issues, not a whole lot of stamina, can sometimes be brought to tears a little too easily
Skills: He analyzes situations thoroughly before acting upon them and can retain information exceptionally well. Says he has a photographic memory.

Name:
Arashi Zadkiel. Gender:
Male. Age: 17.Appearance
(detailed
please!): Arashi is tall for his age and slightly lanky,
caught in an adolescent lapse in his appearance's grace precipitated
by growth. His eyes are a rich purple hue, and peer through
rectangular specs with a thin black frame. His hair is a paler, more
airy purple, and he wears it long – most often in a ponytail or a
bunch. When this hair is not tied back, it reaches down to the small of
his back. Some of his hair has a tendency to hang down at
either side of his face, framing it and encroaching on it at the same
time, usually only reaching around his chin's level before it is cut.
Most often, he wears an inquisitive or an amused ex pression,
favouring lazy smiles and raised eyebrows. He prefers to wear blue or
green, and his favourite Totodile-blue hoodie bears a symbol
representing stormy
weather.
He also favours kid leather gloves in soft purple.
Personality:
For the most part, Arashi is fairly laid back, preferring to observe
the situation before he speaks up or changes variables, but he has a
fondness for irreverence. He has a breezy lack of regard for
arbitrary authority, and simply refuses to respect on demand. If he
believes that the suggestions of an authority figure are reasonable,
he is likely to go along with them, but he reserves respect for those
he believes have earned it. With Arashi, no obedience is automatic save when the situation is perilous or it is so obvious as to become
routine. Arashi is also more comfortable interacting with Pokemon
than other humans whom he doesn't know, as he believes Pokemon to be,
on the whole, more honest. He loves to learn new things about the
creatures who fascinate him the most, particularly Psychic types. He
is considering the potential in becoming a Professor or a Breeder in
the future, and believes that he must have extensive first-hand
knowledge and understanding out 'in the field' in order to accomplish
this goal. Thus, he isn't interested in placing first in any leagues,
but is likely to compete anyway. Occasionally prone to silly moods
and flights of fancy, Arashi may sometimes attempt to approach
situations in unconventional manners, and he wishes to cultivate a
reputation as an eccentric. He is not quick to anger, preferring
plotting to yelling in someone's face, but he never forgets an
insult. He also has an interesting sense of morals, and sees no
problem with vigilante action if he deems it required. His alignment,
therefore, I describe as Chaotic Good verging on Chaotic Neutral. Oh,
and he dislikes the colour crimson to a slightly irrational degree.
History
(detailed please!): Arashi is the only son of a prestigious Breeder
couple, who enlisted the aid of their Pokemon in bringing him up.
Thus, from an early age, Arashi had both a fascination and a fondness
for the creatures, referring to many of them as though they were
family members. One notable example of this being his father's
Espeon, 'Uncle' Isaac, who often minded him as a baby. Having no
siblings or nearby neighbours, Arashi grew up playing with young Pokemon. One of his first chores was helping to prepare food for the
Pokemon, and he gradually learnt how best to cater for each taste. As
he became older, he also grew more involved in caring for the sick,
and in lulling distressed Pokemon to sleep. He isn't a qualified
healer, but he has a good basic knowledge and understanding of how to
care for unwell individuals prior to getting a professional.
Arashi and his family originally lived in Kanto, on the outskirts of Lavender Town, but the rate of Team Rocket related crime increased too much
for them to view it as a safe haven. By the time Arashi was six, they
were trying to rob the Breeding Farm on a semi-regular basis, and had
managed to abscond with some of the young Pokemon Arashi viewed as
siblings. Perturbed and discouraged, Arashi's family pulled up their
roots and moved to Ereos, settling in the forest around (insert name here) City.
There, they felt they could hide in safety, maintaining contact with
those who required their service through the friendly Professor Willow.
Flaws: Arashi has a slight tendency to intellectual snobbery, which
expresses itself in terms of his inordinate fondness for using long
words whenever he thinks he has sufficient excuse, wearing glasses
that have no true lenses in order to emphasise his intelligence, and
having a lower opinion (though not usually contempt) of those he
perceives as stupid. He also has the rather naïve view that Pokemon
should be more easily trusted than humans, which speaks of an
idealism not quite shed. Additionally, Arashi is somewhat paranoid,
and prefers to be as prepared as he possibly can, often taking a leaf
out of whichever books he's currently reading. In the case of the
start of his journey, this means the inclusion of rope and a length
of steel pipe in his belongings, for reasons best known to himself,
along with the usual provisions and a set of night-vision goggles. He
also has less than ideal social skills when interacting with humans.Skills:
Cookery, reading Pokemon body language and voice tone, Singing (bass), caring for
the sick and injured.
Favourite
Type: Psychic, Ghost.
Least
Favourite Type: Fire (because he has long, flammable hair).
Goals by
the End of this Role Play: Well, I would quite like to have had some
interaction with Mewtwo, as he's my favourite character and Pokemon,
but Arashi has no interest in catching him. He's more likely to see
him as a colleague and potential partner in study and vigilante
action. Honestly, he's dotty enough to ignore the risk in trying to
associate with a powerful and unknown Pokemon, where he would be more
wary of, say, a Gym Leader.
Arashi has a grudge against Team Rocket which may develop into a
vendetta, given the opportunity. He is also very interested in
Pokemon behaviour and genetics.

(I am so sorry I was playing football and couldn't respond. Sorry for the short post, I was in a hurry)
Name: Jake Mason
Gender: Male
Age: 18 Region: Johto Hometown: Olivine City
Appearance: Jake has spiked up blonde hair and green-blue eyes that always seem to sparkle with mischief. His left ear has 3 piercings, all spikes. He is a little bit tall for his age of 18, and very muscular. He wears either a t-shirt or hoodie with jeans or shorts. He also wears a necklace of a sharp tooth around his neck.
Personality: Jake is tough, strong, and slightly bad-ass. He gets in trouble a lot, and has many friends, which he is always laughing with. He will protect his friends and pokemon at all costs, and will never back down from a dare, even if it seems dangerous. He is a jock and loves sports and anything athletic. History: Born to a couple in Olivine, Jake grew up living by the sea, but never really grew to love water type pokemon. His parents were once trainers, and he grew up amongst his father's Golem and Arcanine and his mother's Azumarill, but only had a close relationship with the Arcanine, Liam.
Flaws: Rather Aggressive. Stubborn. Kinda Clumsy
Skills: Wrestling and any physical contact sport, running, athletics in general. Favorite Type: Electric/fire
Least Favorite Type: Ghost/insect Goals: Have fun!
I sat up, confused. Why was I here? Hearing hissings and mutterings, I looked cautiously around, taking in my surroundings. I was in a seemingly human-made triangle, marked by rocks, in the middle of a large forest that seemed to loom over me. Making a move to get up, I gritted my teeth, as the rocks behind me cut into my back painfully. Spark was asleep beside me, and as I looked around, I saw two other people, seemingly deep in conversation. Getting up, I slung the sleeping elekid over my shoulder and almost tripped over the small bag in front of me. Opening it, I found a letter, a thunderstone, a few pokeballs, a pouch of berries, and a seemingly random assortment of healing things and items. I walked over to the other people. "Where are we?" I asked, seeing the pokemon on the shoulders of the other trainers. "Who are you?"

Muzzily aware that the surface against his back was rather more solid than the mattress of his bed, Arashi blinked himself into wakefulness, bewildered. Why am I wearing clothes? Where's my bed? I can see the sky, and trees - lots of trees. If I couldn't hear and feel all of this so vividly, I would think it an odd dream, but I can distinctly make out the rasp of this surface against my cheek. Upon further thought, Arashi came to the peculiar conclusion that the last memory he retained prior to this awakening was of sitting in class, listening as Professor Willow explained to them how to care for their Pokemon. He distinctly recalled being bored, as she hadn't gotten to anything his Breeder parents hadn't already taught him yet. He hadn't fallen asleep in class though, had he?
Hauling himself upright, the bemused teenager took a long look around him, noting with mounting unease the triangle shape and the others - classmates of his, though he didn't know them very well. There were bags, too, and their slumbering starters. Investigating his own bag, Arashi's suspicious mind began to kick into overdrive, and he was trying to figure out what he was supposed to make of these items he'd been left. Evidently, he felt, they had been kidnapped and abandoned, perhaps as some form of experiment, and were expected to capture Pokemon while trying to survive out here. Was this how new areas were explored? Was it to do with their test scores? Did someone simply dislike them? It defied all rational belief.
Arashi hadn't yet opened his letter, nervous as to what he might find within it. Scooping Hada into his lap in order to better protect the snoozing avian, he wondered what creatures were producing the sounds he could hear. It was all melding into a generalised susurrus, so he couldn't pick out individual Pokemon cries from it. Reaching over to the boy with the wavy brown hair, Arashi put his hand on the young man's shoulder and began to shake him slightly. Ordinarily, he wouldn't invade the personal space of someone he knew so little, but this was clearly an emergency situation. When he was sure that he had the other's attention, he began to recount in hushed tones what he had observed, and what he had hypothesised. He hoped that this other person would have a fresh perspective on the matter, and maybe know more.
He hadn't considered waking Jake first, as he was less sure of the possible jock's brain credentials than he was of Gabriel's, and he had felt more comfortable with first confiding with the one of their little triad who was more likely to hypothesise with him. It was an admittedly narrow view, but he was in a state of shock, and had only fleeting impressions of the two to work from. He was startled when Jake awoke on his own, but he turned to answer him nonetheless. It would have been impolite to do otherwise. "I am Arashi Zadkiel, I'm in your class. He's also in our class, don't you recognise us? I'm aware we haven't interacted much, so I suppose I can understand that. I was rather hoping that one of you would have more of an idea as to our location that I, but I'll tell you what occurred to me." Then, once again, he outlined the thoughts which had struck him upon his awakening and discovery of their situation.

Gabriel shifted slightly when he felt his shoulder being shaken, the lanky teen shifting slightly before he opened his eyes with a groan and began to push himself into a seated position. He blinked a few times to clear his vision, lifting a hand to his head as he looked around. "Where are we?" he asked quietly, shifting slightly. The instant his fingers brushed something soft he looked down, startled when he saw it was Cynder. He gently scooped the little firebird into his hands to hold her close, eyes wide. She was...yes, she was breathing so she was probably in the same state he was.
Calmed slightly by this he lifted his gaze to look around, bright green eyes scanning their immediate area. "Wherever we are, it appears to be man-made," he murmured as he pulled his legs beneath him, reaching out a hand to stand up and jolting when his hands knocked against a pack of some sort. He stared at it for several moments before he pulled it closer, opening it to peek inside. "We...appear to have been given some form of provisions so that's good at least. We're not...totally on our own I suppose," he said softly, carefully pulling out a chunk of charcoal and a letter.
He sighed softly, looking up at the other two. "Do...you two have letters as well?" he asked, figuring their packs were probably set up the same way. He glanced down at Cynder again and held her a bit closer, putting the charcoal back into his pack.
((Seeing as Fletchling doesn't learn fire moves until it evolves at level 17... |D He doens't need the charcoal right away uvu))

"Ahh yes, I do believe I've seen you two around the halls before, but I don't believe we have ever worked together," Jake said, running his fingers through his blonde hair. "I propose that we find water and shelter first. Arashi, since you look like you are in slightly better shape then Gabriel, no offense meant," he said, turning to Gabriel, and then back to Arashi, "Will you go climb a tree and scout out our surroundings? Look for any landmarks such as rivers, mountains, or clearing in the forest. Gabriel, will you scout for edible berry bushes? You should stay in sight of Arashi's tree, though, so you don't get lost. I'll go scout out the area from the ground. Sound like a plan?" he said, shifting Spark's weight to the other shoulder. The Elekid moaned sleepily. "Kidd...?" he questioned, yawning and showing his small white fangs to the world. Jake set him down but he began leaning on Jake's legs immediately, begging to be picked up again. Jake sighed in resignation and hauled the tired pokemon back onto his shoulder, turning back to the other boys and waiting for their response.

So Gabriel manages to climb one of the trees and look around. The three of you seem to be slightly off center of a circular bowl shaped landscape, surrounded on all sides by mountains. Strangely, the landscape seems to be divided into sextets, with the three of you sitting squarely in the middle of the forest. To your left, a desert. The right, an iceland. Directly in front, a volcanic landscape. Diagonally and to the left there is an ocean, and to the diagonal right, a craggy landscape dotted with mountains. Glancing behind, Gabriel sees a giant tree, twice as tall as the others, with large branches spanning over nearly half of the rest of the forest section. Something is very strange. Didn't the letters say something about six keys?
While he was up in the tree, Jake and Arashi, you both are still trying to find out what happened, you begin to hear large amounts of buzzing from your right. It sounds violent, getting closer... Gabriel can see a disturbance coming from in front of you, heading in the direction of the giant tree. It isn't long before the two on the ground will be forced to run, or fight off mobs of beedrill.
((Don't forget, try to write each of your reactions to each part of the story I tell, and the next action you decide to take.))

"You do have a point there, but it isn't as though we've been provided with much. If I'd been planning an excursion, even just for a day, I'd have packed a lot more than this." Arashi responded to Gabriel, showing the others the contents of his bag, letter and all - he also perused its contents and showed that to them as well, trying to recall if he had ever heard tell of this place. It was a disconcerting message to leave them, to be sure, and he wondered what kind of mind would provide them with this. Were they being tested for something, or merely playthings? Kidnapees? Recruits for something secret? Before he could mention these thoughts, Jake spoke up about his own thoughts, so he listened.
Nodding his assent, Arashi was gratified to note that the blond fellow had put together what seemed like a sound plan - nothing he wouldn't have recommended himself. "I would be happy to do as you request, though I must add that I would prefer to elaborate on what I see while it is fresh in my mind - preferably while still in my tree. Without such a vantage point, I am prone to getting lost. While I can read a map, I would not retain all of the locational information after sufficient time had elapsed. Is there any way by which we could produce a map? It would reduce the difficulty of getting around, and mean that I could devote more surveillance time to watching for danger or for opportunities." He had already spotted a tree that he figured would be both climbable and sufficiently tall for their purposes, and he walked slowly towards it - it was only a few paces away anyway. He was able to do this, as Hada had woken up by now, and flitted to his shoulder. The Pokemon was confused and flustered, but intrigued by his human's interest in a tree. "Unless anyone has anything else to add, and fresh perspective, or ideas as to what was with those letters, I'll be climbing this tree now." He stated, gesturing vaguely upwards.
((Ninja'd - this stuff is for before Allora's new information. I'll add more below this note. Also, it was Arashi in the tree, not Gabe - he's berry-hunting.))
What a strange place we've found ourselves in - this is clearly artificial, or nature is stranger than I gave it credit for. Six seems to be a recurring theme here... I'll have to tell the others about that huge tree. What's that sound? To Arashi's horror, his musings were interrupted by the emergence of multiple Beedrill. He had nothing in his supplies that would combat them, so he resorted to getting his nearest companion's attention by flinging a twig at them and pointing frantically towards the Bug types. He knew the creatures to be territorial, and was trying desperately to think of anything he could to placate them. If they came close to him, he would hum to them - he knew some Bug types responded to that, and he would try to portray himself as harmless by means of his body language, perhaps speak to them in a low tone of voice. Above all, he didn't want them to think that their young were threatened.

((Shoot! Switch spots xD Gabe, you're on the ground with Jake. The beedrill are coming, and Arashi is still in the tree. Either he is going to have to jump down and use his psychic type to ease his fall, or you guys are going to have to catch him, or get left behind, and you are going to have to find some way for the group to reunite. But you don't have much time to get away!))

Gabriel nodded at the plan and started to head off when the buzzing reached his ears. He froze, taking a moment before he looked back with wide, frightened green eyes.
/Beedrill/?
"U-um, A-Arashi, I think...w-we need to go," he called just as a twig came down. He looked between Jake and Arashi, struggling to figure out what they could do. Judging by his body type and Arashi's body type as well, Jake may be able to catch Arashi should he jump. "I-if you need to you can jump!" he called before he moved to step towards the tree, pressing himself against it with Cynder held close. He wasn't sure which direction was safe to go and he didn't want to risk anyone's safety by possibly leading them off a cliff or something.

"Jump! Now!" Jake yelled up to Arashi, then turned to Gabriel and pointed West. "Run that way! Go as far as you can and find safety, but whatever you do, don't turn or go any other direction. Go! Now!" Looking at Spark, he shrugged in apology and withdrew his little yellow pokemon, sticking the pokeball in his pouch before yelling up to Arashi, "I'm ready! Jump before it's too late!"

Arashi plunged from the tree without questioning Jake - he was well aware that a situation such as this meant that he would have to give the others his full cooperation and, to be honest, his immediate plans did involve survival. Hada swooped along with him, keeping an eye out in case any Beedrill got close enough that he'd need to fend off. An idea hit the little Natu, and he was about to try knocking lots of leaves from the surrounding trees to form a primitive equivalent at a smoke screen, but he realised that he had neither the size nor the time to make it work. As soon as Arashi landed, aided by Jake, he returned Hada and made to run with the others. The most logical explanation he could think of for the Beedrill's behaviour was that they were in proximity to their young, and he wanted to get out of the probable nest site as soon as possible. He figured it unlikely that the relevant area would be expansive, so he hoped it wouldn't take too long for the insects to loose interest in them. After all, humans were not really a part of Beedrill preferred diet.

Jake staggered a bit as he caught Arashi, but didn't let him fall. Setting him down on his feet, Jake yelled "Follow me!" over the increasing crescendo of the buzzing and sprinted off in the direction he had told Gabriel to go before stopping and realizing that Arashi probably couldn't run as fast. He looked back and was surprised to see Arashi close behind, so he turned and got the hay bales out of dodge. Or, in other words, ran for his life. Tripping over a root sticking out of the ground, Jake stumbled and fell, splitting a violent gash across his forehead on a sharp rock. Yelping in pain, he pushed himself up again and continued on his run from the beedrill, but found himself tiring quickly, and weakening from the increasing blood loss from his wound. Finally, the buzzing noises subsided and Jake slumped against a tree, his face pale with the loss of so much blood.

Gabriel looked at Arashi with wide eyes, seeming antsy. "Which way do we go?" he asked, retrieving his pokeball to return Cynder to allow her to rest properly within her pokeball, and to avoid her possibly getting hurt. They needed a place to flee to, and he didn't know any of the surrounding area. Arashi should, since he had been at the top of the tree...but they'd need to hurry.
When told to go West he hesitated, drawing his arms close as he looked between Jake and Arashi. Would it be okay? Granted, 'as far as he could go' wasn't far if he had to run, especially since he woudln't want to risk triggering an asthma attack. But, deciding to follow the advice he'd been given he nodded slightly and, after looking at the two apologetically, turned to start off, his eyes scanning everything as he passed, trying to catalog as much as possible that could prove to be useful later.
He heard the others not far behind, and he no longer heard the beedrill so he stopped, already panting heavily with a hand over his chest before he turned to head back to the other two, trying desperately to control his breathing. He caught sight of Jake's gash and winced, then looked up at Arashi, silently asking if he knew what to do.

Arashi looked on with mounting horror as Jake went down - he had been hoping that they would make it through this without serious injury. He was wiry, true, but he did help out on his family's ranch, so he was a little fitter than he looked, but he wasn't sure if he'd be able to carry his companion. Arashi didn't know whether the subsidence of the buzzing was down to them losing the Beedrill or due to the creatures landing and acting stealthily, but he wasn't about to abandon someone who'd stayed for him. "I have to attend to Jake, and I might need your help." He began, keeping his voice as steady as he could. "I'm going to tear a strip off my shirt to bind his cut, as I know that's reasonably clean. It would help a lot if we had some water to wash it with, but I'm going to take a chance and rinse it with a little of one of my potions instead. We can't risk an infected wound in a place like this. Will you help me with the potion, once you've caught your breath?" Any doubts he'd held about Jake were gone now, dissolved as soon as he'd elected to risk himself so that he could help Arashi, and he felt honour-bound to repay that.
