She gave him a reassuring smile. "Yeah, it's cool."
Her smile quickly faded to a frown as she stared into her wine glass. "I'd never do something like that to him."
"Oh, my glass is getting a little low, would you mind topping me off darling?" She smiled, running her fingers through her hair.

I gave her a speculative look, not knowing for certain if it was really 'cool'. But, hey, if the guy ever found out, I could explain easily that I tried warning her. Who knows, maybe they're the type to be on and off and she just didn't say anything about their temporary 'off'.
"Sure."
I said, giving her a sheepish smile before grabbing the bottle of wine and pouring some in her glass. I wasn't feeling any more 'loose', so I poured more in my glass as well, hoping the wine will effect sooner or later so I could relax. With that thought in mind, I took a gulp of the wine, willing it to do it's magic. It's just a simple date. With a woman who tempted me in every way possible, but still, just a simple date.

My green eyes widened in shock as I felt her lips peck my cheek. "Uh... You're very welcome."
I said quietly, wondering why one kiss would make me so embarrassed. I guess it was because she wasn't as nervous as I was that made me feel that way. I took another big gulp of the wine.
When she giggled, I lifted an eyebrow and brushed my cheek where she had kissed it. "Is there a lipstick mark?"
I said, my eyes finding her red lips before I shook my head with a chuckle mirroring her giggle.

"Yeah." There it was again. That same smooth, sleek, teasing tone in her voice. She giggled again before drinking down half the glass.
"I could give you a lot more, if you'd like." She mumbled, her voice sounding almost inaudible.

My cheeks burned - once again, mind you. No surprise there. - when she spoke. I wiped my cheek to wipe the red off, but I had a feeling I might have just smeared it. Oh well. I took another gulp from the glass, finishing it off. I guess I was so big that the wine had to take a century to start affecting. It was a good thing I felt a little more relaxed, just a little.
I heard her mumble, and I thought I heard her say something about more. My cheeks flaming, I gave her a nervous chuckle. "Sounds tempting."
I murmured, chewing on my lip. Why did I say it like that? I had meant to just kid around.

"Isn't it, now." She cooed.
He was almost as red as a cherry tomato, and she loved it. I wonder how much longer he'll hold up, she thought, nonchalantly downing the last of her wine.
"Oh, darling, aren't you lonely over there? Why not join me, hmn?" She asked, running her hand over the empty cushion beside her.

My eyes widened as I looked at the space on the cushion in between us. Slowly, I scooted closer, now my fingers weren't close by her hair on the edge of the back cushion, but now my arms brushed against it. I pursed my lips, hoping it was still alright.
I scolded myself for the thought. Obviously, it was alright. I needed to get out more often or something. Go out on more dates, at least.
As she finished the last of her wine, I found myself watching her neck as she drank. My cheeks burning, I mirrored the action of taking the last sip before setting it on my lap.
"So.."

"So." She said, parroting his dialogue.
Her hand slid along the cushion until it brushed against his leg. Suddenly her lips pressed against his. He tasted like alcohol, she probably did too, considering the fact that she had been drinking for most of the night.
"You're so shy it's adorable." She purred into his ear before pulling away.

My breathing hitched, but - thankfully - I wasn't too surprised to not kiss her back. My lips tingled as she spoke in my ear, the tips of my ears burning. Well, she called me adorable. I guess that meant I wasn't being too much of a bore here.
I ran my lip over my lower lip to stop the tingling before I smiled at her sheepishly. I grabbed her hand as my teeth sunk into my lip.
"I'm usually not like this." I said in a more defensive tone. No guy wanted to be called 'adorable'. Well, if it got me another kiss, maybe, but still... "I just haven't dated in a while."
I added, giving her a toothy grin.

Why did she have to keep talking like that? It was like she knew how it was affecting me. I grabbed the bottle and poured more in her glass. "You should take it easy, because you'll be driving."
I said, my face completely serious for the first time since she came. Not that I wanted her leaving any time soon, but seeing as she's driving herself home, she should be careful.
I poured some more in my own glass, taking a gulp. I was finally starting to feel a bit more relaxed - she wasn't helping much by the way she tempted me though.

My eyes widened. She planned to stay? "I wouldn't argue with that plan." I said, my a smirk coming to my own lips, though my eyes found their way to her stockings and not her eyes. I cleared my throat and looked away to focus on something else. "Same here. I only drink wine for nights like these." I said, tipping my head back to down the rest of the glass. I was finally feeling better.
"You sure you're not hungry? I'm willing to call up any food place. I'm not much of a cook..." I said, wincing at the thought of burning down my kitchen.

"Oh no. A young man down the street from where I live made a lovely meal before I came over." A pang of nervousy suddenly coursed through her mind. I said made, not made for, right?
She chuckled and brought her glass to her lips to shake the thought, accidentally downing the whole thing.

The tealette smiled back at him. "Though I appreciate the offer sweetheart." She really despised eating around people - not because of the quantity of her food, she never could eat much, but because of the quality, or rather, what she ate.
Something was wrong. Her lips suddenly felt overly wet. It must be from the wine, I probably took a little more than I could handle. She thought, shrugging it off. They began to become wetter and wetter until "drip." Something warm landed on her collarbone.
Not now!
In the middle of her panic she turned her head away and covered her mouth with her free hand. "I...um...would you excuse me for a minute, I need to go to the bathroom."

My eyes went to her mouth and not for a desire for a kiss.
"Uh... Yeah, you'll see it on the first door on the right in the hallway."
The whole time, my tone showed my confusion. My eyebrows furrowed, and I stood up on the sofa. "Are you alright? Are you going to be sick?" I said, though that didn't explain her mouth dripping.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine." She called from down the hallway. Her hand desperately reached for the door handle, accidentally smearing it with blood. Once inside she locked the door to ensure there would be no sudden interruptions.
She scowled at her reflection. Crimson droplets began to pool in the sink from her hanging over it. "Damn!" She growled. She wasn't home. She was here, at a strangers house that was completely unarmed in dealing with her condition. She did the only thing she could do - grab a tissue, hold it against her mouth, and gulp the red fluid back down. It sent a searing pain through her body, but at least it would keep it down for a while. With the leaking blood situation taken care of she quickly cleaned up the droplets that had gathered in the sink and around the floor, tucking the soiled tissues into her purse. She didn't want him to worry, or freak out when he woke up to find the bloodied things laying in the trash can in the morning.
"There." She breathed a sigh of relief. "Now time to return to him." She smiled at her reflection before shutting off the light and closing the door behind her.
Once back in the living room she resumed her usual cross-legged sitting style. "Sorry about that baby," she said with a smile, "now, where were we?"

I watched her walk to the bathroom, my eyebrows lifted in curiosity. I guessed it was a woman thing so I thought I shouldn't ask. "Are you alright?"
I said, my eyes once again moving to her lips, wondering what that was. I couldn't help myself but ask. I've never seen that happen to someone before, so I doubted it was a 'woman thing'.
