((DDD: I couldn't find this RP and I was panicking. I was all, "Where is it? Nuuu!" :3 But I has now found you guys again! *glomps everyone*))

Willow slid her silent, piercing gaze over everyone. She let out a snort.
"He really expects us to kill each other? What a sadistic psycho. I bet he feels the need to be.... 'in control.' Huh," Willow shifted her position, and got up. she brushed past the two girls gently, leaving to go by herself. As she stepped out of the room, she didn't feel worried about someone trying to kill her.

Willow stalked cautiously into the kitchen. She glanced around the plain room, seeing a running sink and a cabinet. Opening the cabinet curiously, for hunger gnawed at her belly, and saw only liquor. A surprised laugh came from her lips, and she narrowed her eyes.
"Does that fool expect us to get drunk?!" Willow exclaimed incredulously. She had never been much of an alcohol user. She ripped open the fridge, but there was nothing in it. Her belly screeched in protest, and Willow ranted quietly under her breath about how stupid it was that there was no food in the fridge. Why have a fridge if you didn't put any kind of food in it? Moron!

When Willow finally left the kitchen, she didn't see the two other girls. She went to the upper floor, she discovered two bathrooms and a few bedrooms. She decided that she would have to call dibs on the room with only one solitary bed so she wouldn't have to have a "roomate."

[[Sorry, I ended up sick yesterday and couldn't get on. I might be able to get on Sunday for a change, though =D ]]

 Abril nodded at Svali. "Sure, the more the merrier." She started walking ahead. "So what's you're name? I'm Abril, by the way." She swung her arms merrily, as if she had no care in the world. Which wasn't true. Deep down, Abril was losing he control of her emotions. Sooner or later, she was going to die in this house, and there was nothing she could do about it, except...

Except-

Abril shook her head. She wouldn't think about killing. She was the kind of girl who could barely stand blood other than hers! How would she ever be able to commit a crime like murder on another living being? Abril sniffled and looked down at the floor, which was made of tile. Her high heals clicked on the surface.

Abril paused in walking to take off her shoes. She couldn't stand walking in them. They pinched her feet, and she would rather walk bare-footed.

~

Olavi watched as the three girls walked off. There was only one girl left in the room, and five guys, including himself. It was like the first day of school all over again, where everyone was too awkward to start a conversation with anyone, so everyone just sat there in silence until someone worked up the courage to speak.

Yeah, it was like the first day of school, other than the fact that the teacher doesn't tell their children that they would end up killing each other and only one would live.

Olavi sighed and wondered how long it would take him to die. That one girl who had left looked shifty to him, and he decided not to trust her. Or anyone, for that matter. Who knows what anyone else had up their sleeves.

The teen patted his pocket, hopeful that he might have brought his cell phone with him before he left home. Olavi realized that he didn't, because he never thought ahead. He had had figured that if anyone had attacked him on the street, he could just scream and someone would come to his rescue. Or something like that.

((Look who's dumb and forgot again. xD; Failish intro, sorry. x.x Intro's are hit or miss with me.))

Arashi had been laying on his side, quietly waiting, listening. When he'd first woken up, he'd felt confusion, even fear, and pain. Had he not been trained in patience, he probably would have jumped to his feet and panicked. However, he'd forced himself to wait and listen and his patience was met with the stirring other other people as he allowed his eyes to adjust. He didn't dare move while he was still figuring things out.

Earlier that night, at least he assumed it hadn't been that long ago, his body didn't feel stiff as if he'd been laying for too long on the hard floor, he'd been walking home with Cyrus from the dojo, and they had gotten... jumped? He remembered sensing a man behind him, at the same time Cyrus had yelled, and then he remembered being hit by something... blunt on the head before blacking out. What had become of Cyrus though? Had he run away? Arashi hoped so... although he feared Cyrus would be more likely to fight than run. He hoped Cryus was okay, at least.

His muses were interrupted by the sound of an a man speaking over an... intercom? The man's words didn't make much sense to him. Nothing at the moment made sense to him. What he did understand disturbed him though.

Arashi waited a little longer before he decided it was time to get up. People were starting to get up and move around, so that was his cue to do so as well. He didn't recognize any of the voices, which was a slight relief to him. Maybe Cyrus wasn't among them after all.

He rolled over onto his back and cringed when something painful jabbed him. Quickly, he realized it was the hilt of his katana and he snatched the blade up, feeling more secure with it by his side. He sat up and placed his hand on his head. He could feel a small bump on the upper right part of his forehead, just below his hairline but hidden by his bangs. It was a painful reminder that this couldn't be a dream.

He mutttered something in Japanese under his breath than stood up.

~~~
Cyrus had been jolted awake by the man's voice, having been sleeping peacefully until then. It sounded a bit like the radio in the morning, turned up a bit too loud for his tastes, and just as annoying. It took him a moment to understand what the male was saying before he realized that he wasn't a radio DJ. He was something far worse, it seemed. Cyrus listened carefully, memorizing what was said repeating it over in his head several times once the intercom clicked off.
'I have selected each of you off the streets not for who you are, but for what you are,' Cyrus repeated that in his head several more times. The rest was easy to remember, but that seemed like a very key point. Strange... but a key point none the less. What did this "Watcher" think they were.
He heard a familiar voice muttering in Japanese to his right and quickly sat up. "Arashi?" he asked quickly. His eyes were adjusting to the semi-darkness quickly, and he spotted Arashi almost immediately. The Japanese male spun around at the sound of his name
"Cy-kun?" Arashi asked, then frowned when he saw his friend. His silvery hair seemed to stand out slightly, almost reflecting what little light there was. So Cyrus had not gotten away.
Cyrus took the hand that Arashi then offered to him to help him stand up, pulling himself to a standing position and looking around at the other people now moving around. A few were leaving, others were exploring. "Did you hear everything?" he asked, noticing Arashi had his katana. A sick feeling formed in the pit of his stomach. The Watcher probably left Arashi with it to bloody up his sick little game. Nothing like a trained swordsman to really make things fun for a sicko.
"Hai," Arashi replied grimly, shaking his head slowly and letting out a sigh.
"Then you know we're really f***ed," Cyrus said with a dark laugh, looking around the room to take in the details. A living room, huh? Despite what the watcher had said, he found himself looking for a way out. For the moment, he ignored the other people. He'd probably have to pay attention to them later, but he didn't care for people.
((Edit:// Also, like I said, Cyrus doesn't really filter his words, so he cusses more than most people. And that's just how I censor words. If anyone's got a problem with it, I'll figure out something else.)).
((xD I'm fine with the censoring. My friends curse all the time. I get used to it. o3o))
Willow lurked around the house, thinking of extremely nasty things to say to the kidnapper if she ever saw him. She explored the bedrooms, her eyes curious, but also dull from hunger and exhaustion. She satisfied her curuiosity of the second floor, and went downstairs to the kitchen again. She glanced at a dumbwaiter, and figured that was where food would be sent down. Gritting her teeth, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by everything. She was normally a very tough girl, but she had never dreamt of killing someone. She had a very strong sense of justice and wanted to become an agent for the FBI someday. Willow had a strong stomach and was very smart, but Willow didn't think she'd be able to handle being a police officer or an FBI agent because she was a terrible team-worker. She preferred solo work. She also hated listening to other people when they told her to do things. However, she would just have to deal with it if she wanted to fufill her dream of working in law.
Willow felt like she didn't want to explore anymore, so naturally, she went back to the living room where everyone else was. She noticed the two other girls weren't back yet, so she strode in and paused, appearing to want to say something. But she couldn't bring herself to ask the question that she had been longing to discuss since she figured out what was happening. Why she had been kidnapped. Shifting her position, she bit her lip and finally abandoned the question. Instead, she strode over to a far corner and sat down, not even sharing a glance with anyone else.
((*stares at Fox's siggy* I suppose I should start calling you Loki now? xD I've just been calling you Fox because of your username >.> Sorry about that. And I have no problem with Cyrus. He can swear all he likes.))
((I hate the ti
Svali stared at Abril, slightly taken aback at her apparent happiness. I'm all for being optimistic, but this girl seems downright happy. Then again, maybe that's not a bad way to be. She thought.
"Hi," she said, somewhat shyly. "I'm Svali."
She watched as the girl took off her shoes. Definitely a strange one, Svali decided. She walked ahead a little, then turned and waited for Abril to catch up.
"Where exactly are we going?" she asked, looking around and occasionally stealing a furtive glance at Abril. She hated herself for thinking it, but she couldn't help but wonder if Abril would take the opportunity to kill her while they were alone. She's probably wondering the same thing, Svali thought.
As they walked, Svali allowed her mind to wander, which was probably a mistake. She thought of all the terrible things that would probably occur in the next few days. If this even lasts that long. What if one of the people is a serial killer or something and this is just like any other day to him so he kills everyone off without a second thought?
Or what if it's the opposite and everyone is too afraid to kill anyone, so The Watcher comes in and tortures us to death instead?
And what about Krael? He's never been patient, or very bright. What if he takes it upon himself to kill everyone because he thinks he's doing me a favour? It would just be us left and eventually one of us would be forced to kill the other!
Or what if
Svali shook her head and forced herself to stop thinking that way. "What if," She muttered, a distant look in her green eyes. She shook her head once more and offered up a weak, somewhat apologetic smile to Abril.
~~~

Krael continued to sit on the couch, though he lifted his head a little to look at the others. There was quite an assortment, he even heard two of them muttering in some foreign language- Japanese, I think.

Krael was doing his best to keep his composure, staring impassively around the room. The truth was, he was terrified. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest and he wanted nothing more than to just be at home, safe and completely oblivious to the fact that The Watcher even existed. Why me? He thought, scared and enraged all at once. Why any of us? It's not fair. How are our families going to react when they find out-

Wait. My family. They'll notice Svali and I are gone, they'll call the cops and the cops will find The Watcher. He'll go to jail, and we'll be okay!

Krael grinned and stood up quickly. "Hey!" he shouted, looking upwards and trying to locate one of the hidden cameras that were no doubt planted around the house. "Hey, Watcher!" he said sarcastically, as if 'Watcher' was a childish nickname that was to be made fun of.

No response. Krael kept talking anyway.

"There's a flaw in your plan!" he said gleefully, proud that he had been the one to notice it, that he had outsmarted The Watcher and beat him at his own game.

Krael's statement must have caught The Watcher's attention, for there was a quiet *click* sound followed by an amused and drawn out "Oh?"

"Yeah," Krael said, grinning ear to ear. "What do you suppose will happen when people start to notice that nine people just vanished off the face of the Earth? I'll tell you what. They'll come looking for us, and they'll find us. They'll find you too, Watcher, and you will be punished." he concluded triumphantly.

What The Watcher did next made Krael so angry he actually had to bite his tongue to keep from shouting.

The Watcher laughed. Again. The sound was like sharp nails drawn across a chalkboard to Krael. It was mocking and extremely condescending, as if Krael was simply a child who didn't understand how the world worked and had made a mistake.

"Oh, Krael," he said, using the same sarcastic tone Krael had. It made him jump, which caused The Watcher to chuckle to himself.

There was a moment of silence before he continued. "I already took care of that," he said in his usual slow, calm way that was somehow far more intimidating than shouting.

"You see," The Watcher drawled, "I have certain ways of convincing people of things. For example, Krael, your mother is about to receive a call stating that your sister- Svali, was it?- has died in an... unfortunate car crash. I know your sister won't last long, what with how weak she is, so I figured I would let your mother know ahead of time. As far as she knows, you are alive and well, but mourning the loss of poor Svali."

"No!" Krael shouted, but The Watcher ignored him and continued to speak as if Krael hadn't even said anything.

 "Yes, it is sad. In fact, you are so sad, Krael, that you may decide to commit suicide in the near future. At least, that is what your mother will think. It isn't true at all, you will have been killed by- well, you get the idea." The Watcher said.

Krael's fists were clenched so tightly his knuckles had turned white. There were a thousand rude things he wanted to say to The Watcher, but all he managed was, "You're lying. You couldn't possibly do that."

"Oh, but I could, Krael," The Watcher said. "And I will. Now, I trust you have no more questions?" he said.

Krael was silent.

"That's what i thought," The Watcher said.

((Willow's angry. O_O I may have gone overboard with her. o3o But it's a natural reaction, if you think about it. Especially for someone as tempermental as Willow. owo))

Willow bared her teeth. She glared at the ceiling. She stared at poor Krael. Hatred bubbled up inside of her. Getting to her feet, she growled something incomprehensible, her quiet voice full of fury and hate.

"You're a coward!" She screamed, pounding the wall with her fist. "You expect us to kill each other. You're a sadistic psychopath who deserves to be put in a mental hospital! What's wrong with you? You're a monster, you know that? A blockhead! You imbecile! Sorry to ruin your fun, but I'm not killing anyone, you nasty little bugger!" Willow went on to describe what kind of an idiot she found him to be, and even went on to say something so nasty and disgusting that no one should ever have to repeat it or hear it ever again.

When she was finally finished, she turned around and stormed out of the living room, her flaming hate still not extinguished, her thirst for revenge satisfied. She would find a way out. And she would escape. No one had to get hurt. All they had to do was work together, and then they'd be able to find a way out. No one was perfect, especially not that dumbass Watcher. Gritting her teeth, she paced around, trying to think about the creep who kidnapped her and everyone else. She didn't know him at all, except for the fact that he was a mental, crazy, weirdo that deserved to die. She knew that there had to be a flaw somewhere. Something that they could use to escape... But what? That was the ultimate question.

[[Foxxie? (Can I call you that?) Dumb? Never... And for some reason, I always feel happy whenever I see someone cussing on the forms xD]]

[[.... Are we missing someone?]] [[Are there cameras about so that the Watcher can see what's happening, and are there intercoms in every room?]]

 Abril gave Svali a strained smile. She didn't know what was going on in the other girl's head, but it was obviously meaningful. "It's not best to dwell of the 'if's' in life, because if everyone did, then we would get nowhere." She told her, but even as she said it, Abril's mind was racing. She wondered how they were going to live, if they were all going to just attempt to avoided each other, or someone go after the others and kill them?

For some reason, she doubted that. Maybe they would make alliances of sorts, like that one show one of her co-workers was trying to explain to her a few days ago. Abril shivered. Regardless of what happened, people were going to die, and there was nothing she could do about it.

But what if someone found them? Abril suddenly perked up. It was possible, no one could just steal nine people. The girl only hoped that they were found before anyone died.

The woman rounded a corner. "Hey, look at that, Svali. This must be the kitchen!" Abril rushed in and looked around. She saw a refrigerator, but it was sadly empty. Was the Watcher going to starve them so that there would be death, even if it wasn't committed by one of the nine?

~

"Exactly what good will yelling bring?" Olavi mumbled, but the girl had already left. He decided that he really didn't like her, and that it would be best to keep he on her good side, if she even had one.

The teen pushed himself to his feet, but stumbled as a dizzy spell hit him, and fell back to the ground. He sat up and didn't attempt to get up again and instead ponder what was happening. The two girls weren't back yet, and he felt himself start to worry about them. And what the Watcher had told that one boy - was it Kreal? - worried Olavi. What was the creep going to tell his brother? That he had been kidnapped and murdered while he was on his walk? His brother would kill himself if he heard that.

Olavi shivered. So was there really no escape? He shook his head, not wanting to think any more. He would just scare himself if he kept wondering about what it to become of him.

((Lol Sugar. I wouldn't worry about it. She spazzed, but it was warranted xD))

((Yeah, we're missing someone, Rabbah. -_- Angel (mercyme6) hasn't posted once. I have to admit, I kind of feel the same way about cussing on the forums xD))

((Yep. There's a hidden camera in every room and intercoms in most rooms. (There aren't any in the bedrooms, but there's one in the hall outside. It's loud enough that they'll all be able to hear it even when they're in their beds :p)))

Krael glared at the ceiling, still trying to find a camera. There has to be one, I know it, he thought. As he searched, he replayed The Watcher's words in his mind. As soon as he had mentioned Svali, speaking in that haughty tone that just made Krael want to punch him over and over until he begged to die, Krael made a decision. If killing was what he had to do in order to save his sister, then kill he shall. Krael would give his own life for Svali.

Just as he thought that, a girl that obviously had a fiery temper stood up and began to shout furiously at The Watcher. Funny that we both look at the ceiling when we're talking to him. Krael thought, smirking a little as he imagined the ex
pression on The Watcher's face.

As the girl stood up and practically had a conniption, Krael decided that he definitely liked her. She wasn't like the others, he could tell. She was certainly more bold and unafraid, for starters. Krael made a mental note to not give her reason to be angry at him.

((Brain dead, sorry for the fail Dx))

~~~
Svali knew there was wisdom in the other woman's words, but it was almost impossible to keep herself from thinking about what might become of them.
She sighed and the two walked in silence for a moment. Svali was immersed in her own thoughts, and she had know doubt Abril was too. Suddenly, Svali was brought back to reality by a shout from Abril. "Hey, look at that, Svali. This must be the kitchen!"
Good, Svali thought, I'm starving.
She eagerly followed Abril into the room, allowing hopeful thoughts to creep into her mind. They were quickly extinguished, however, when they found the fridge was empty. Svali sighed and walked around the kitchen. There was a wooden countertop in the corner of the room with something Svali couldn't immediately identify built into the wall above it. At first glance, it just looked like a cupboard, but upon opening it she realized it was a dumbwaiter. Don't these things usually have a platform or something in them so you can actually use them? I guess this one's broken. She thought.
Just then, as if on cue, Svali heard a sort of squeaking and rattling coming from inside the wall.
"Abril?" she called uncertainly. "Come here for a second!"
The sounds increased in volume until Svali could actually see something coming into view from inside the dumbwaiter. Well, that's one question answered, she thought as she realized it was the platform she was just thinking of, and on top of it was a plate. A plate with food on it.
Svali stared in happy disbelief at the plate for a moment before she picked it up, holding it carefully as if it might disappear at any moment. All that was on the plate was a small amount of chicken and some cold potatoes, but it was food nonetheless. Why such small amounts? she thought. I suppose he's hoping we'll fight over it.
"We should bring this back to the others," Svali said, turning to Abril.
((o3o I really love Willow for some odd reason. xDD))
Willow crossed her arms, closing her eyes. Images flashed in her mind, terrible memories rushing to the surface, overwhelming her. She remembered the night that she had been kidnapped. She had been rushing through an alley to get back home before dark, using a shortcut that wasn't exactly safe. She had never even had a problem before... But there had been a heavy blow to her head, and she had been knocked unconscious almost immediately. The blow had been powerful and precise, an expert hit to the back of her head. However, she hadn't blacked out immediately, and a small white cloth had been held to her nose, doused in chloroform. As much as she had tried to fight, she was knocked out almost immediately after the chloroform. The blow had stunned her and the cloth damp from the chemical had been her undoing.
Willow sat on the ground, refusing to cry. She was too strong for that. But she sat there, staring at the wall, a grimace on her face as she remembered that night. There must've been something that might just tell her about the Watcher. She had seen him, actually, after she had fallen to the ground. She had rolled onto her back after stumbling to the ground when she was bludgeoned by The Watcher. She had stared at his face, and registered what he looked like. But after Willow had been knocked out, she couldn't remember his face. She couldn't remembered what he looked like. But it didn't matter. Because she was trapped with a bunch of other unlucky saps who had been abducted and remembered what that wuss looked like wouldn't help the situation. It wouldn't change a thing.
Suddenly, a squeaking noise rattled her teeth. Gritting her teeth, she sprang to her feet, agile and graceful as a wolf. She stalked over to the kitchen, where the noise had come from. She saw Svali and Abril, and her eyes lit up. They were holding a plate of food. Hunger burned deep inside of her, and the ravenous and greedy look she gave the plate was a clear sign of her starvation. She was prepared to fight for the food, but she just observed how little food there was. Sighing, she ran a hand through her thick, dark hair and stared at the two girls.
"Where did you get that?" She asked sharply, although not unkindly. Her eyes were slightly curious, and she uncrossed her arms and swung them at her sides, her face expressionless. She had wiped the hungry ex
pression from her face and had resumed donning her neutral emotion, her eyes not straying from theirs as she ignored the food completely, other than asking of its existence.
[[I was waiting for Foxxie because he always seems to be last in the cycle... And for the fact I'm not sure what I should do with Olavi]]
[[Are we going to continue waiting for Ang, or are we just going to go ahead and kill of her cherries?]]
[[Are there also cameras in the bathroom? 0.o ]]
Abril pointed to the dump-waiter. "That thing. It moved, and then the food appeared. The Watcher must be where ever it leads to." She suspected that he would've moved away from it by now, but she couldn't tell. She didn't hear anything from above them before the dumb-waiter started moving.
Abril, glancing around, saw a camera. The Watcher was probably watching them gleefully. She turned her attention back to the two girls. "I don't believe it's enough to share with everyone else. There isn't much here, and I doubt giving everyone less than a bite of food is going to help us."
She looked at Svali. The girl's brother was here, so Abril bet that she wouldn't agree. The other girl would understand that taking the meal for themselves would be their advantage. "If anymore food comes down, then we'll give it to the others." She told Svali quietly.
In any other situation, Abril realized that she wasn't exactly being 'fair', but she didn't want to die. No, she probably couldn't kill anyone, but that didn't mean she couldn't fight.
((I don't know what to do. O_e" *facepalm*))
Willow gritted her teeth. Her eyes blazed with fury. "You think that taking away the chance of everyone else getting food will help our situation? Sure, it might help us survive, but if the others ever find out, they will kill us. Literally. I mean, this will just give them motive to rip us to shreds if we lie to them and take away their fair share of food. If the others won't get food, I won't take any food either. Turning against each other isn't the answer. I doubt any more food will be sent down. You can either take it all for yourselves, or you can do the right thing and share it with everyone else. Your choice. I'm not a part of this."
Once she was finished speaking, Willow immediately turned around and stalked back to the living room. She didn't say anything about what had happened, but she simply sat next to Krael, which was a big surprise, given that she was a total loner. But she said nothing, and Willow appeared to be deep in thought, and a little bothered. She occasionally glanced at Krael, still thoughtful, but she eventually closed her eyes and let out a silent sigh.
 Svali listened silently to the conversation. She was about to say something, make a point, when she realized she didn't know what her opinion on the matter was. Should they eat the food themselves? That wouldn't ensure their survival at all. If the others found out what they had done, fights would break out. By the same token, if they shared the food, everyone would only get a very small portion (Unless... unless we kill someone. But I could never... could I? Would I be able to kill if it came down to it?
Svali watched wordlessly as Willow stalked away.
((Short. Dx sorry.))
Krael watched, surprised, as the girl sat next to him. He moved over a little to allow her more room.
"...Hey," he muttered, almost inaudibly. He opened his mouth to say something else, but then decided against it. Later, he thought. Let's just... sit for a minute. Take a break from this insanity and pretend like... pretend like everything's going to be okay. I would give anything for that to be true.
((Fail, really sorry.))
((xD *glomps queen* Well, I guess... O_e I've got nothing. You can be Gus and I can be Shawn. o3o {Even though we're females.} But that wouldn't work. It would confuse everyone else because they'd think that we were guys. x3 How about... You be Jelly and I be Donut? Because I love jellly donuts. o3o))
Willow raised an eyebrow, her ex
pression slightly amused. Her arched eyebrows knit into a thoughtful 'V' as she stared at the kitchen, her eyes glowing with fury. She allowed herself to look at Krael, and inclined her head slightly, whispering a soft and faint greeting in reply. Letting out a soft breath, she brushed her fingers through her hair, a shower of dark locks creating a curtain between Krael and Willow. After the greeting, she put it upon herself to ignore everyone in the room and she instead started talking to herself, her quiet whispers barely noticeable as she closed her eyes and ranted almost silently about The Watcher as well as Abril and Svali.
