Shadow made sure to land right on Ash's back with an immense amount of force so that he would fall to the ground in pain and,hopefully,release the lynx.

Her felt sharp claws digging onto his shoulder and her growled at the other cat, and found that it was Runo. A wicked grin spread across his face. "You are fighting against who you are? Shadow waited for her shadow to return and when it did a few herbs and some bandages from the healer of her clan were dragging on the ground behind the shadow. Her shadow stopped and the things dragging behind it were placedinf ront of Shadow. Shadow's shadow when back under her and unanimated itself. She picked up the herbs in her mouth and punctured one with her teeth. The herb had a thick liquid inside it and Shadow let the liquid drip onto his neck. She then broke it in half and rubbed the end of one on his neck.

Ash leaped on Runo, tackling her to the ground. Runo snarled and snapped her jaws at him. Ash's eyes glowed a bright red color and Runo started whimpering. "N...No..." she gasped, trying not to let the demon take over.

Dark had grabbed Midnight and flew after Shadow and Runo. Dark and Midnight hid themselves in a tree and watched them.
