Shadow noticed Runo and remembered one power that always helped in battles. She used her own shadow and made it race towards Runo. Without even touching Runo the shadow grabbed her shadow's leg and after doing thart flug the shadow of Runo. Shadow watched as Runo was flung with her own shadow. She then made her shadow come back to her and become inanimate.
Shadow then closed her eyes and opened them back up. Once she did the sky turned dark a dark blood red and so did the moon. This caused many of both clans warriors stop and stare up at the moon.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Runo slowly stood up after being flown into the side of a large, bulky rock. She noticed the sky and the moon, but for some reason she wasn't mesmerized by it like the others were. Her eyes were still a bloody-lust red, and snarls curled at her lips. Some...monster it felt like, was inside her and was... hungry. Not hungry for meat, but hungry for blood, to see blood splattered on rocks.
She crept towards Shadow, snarling and growling. Her fur ruffled before her two front paws caught on fire. She leaped up in the air, tackling Shadow down to the ground and scorching her fur and armor. She bent her head down low, close to the panther's face.

Shadow,for once in her life,felt a fear emerging inside of her. Not a fear for herself,but a fear for her beloved cub. She looked into Runo's eyes with eyes that pleaded for mercy and it seemed that even her own shadow had disappeared with her bravery.

Runo had pinned Shadow hard against the ground. She growled, and raised her paw. the fire power was now being replaced by a misting, purple glow; her psychic power, which was much stronger than her fire power by far. Just one blow and it would kill this panther completely, knocking her brain senseless and spurt out blood. She grinned, blood. the sweet scarlet liquid that would ease her instinct of killing...
What? Killing? Instinct?!
Before she bashed Shadow, her gaze shifted upward to a small panther cub. It had the look of terror, fear and a broken heart in her eyes. Her fur was raised, and her ears were bent back. It looked as if tears were streaming down her face, "M...Mommy?" she called out in a quivering voice.
Runo stared at the small cub, claws contracting back inside her paw. Her eye color changed from blood red to a musty violet. Her snarls quieted down and her bared teeth no longer showed. She lowered her paw, eyes still on the small cub. Her heart felt heavy, guilt driven.
'The leader is a mother to a gorgeous young cub that still needs her. I... I can't kill her...' she thought. But another part of her was fighting, 'Kill, shred, rip apart! You have her down. Who cares about a small cub? That child could easily be your next big meal, but first, the panther! '

Shadow closed her eyes and pulled her ears back. She prepared for death and put her head on the ground. She thought of her cub and what would become of her. Her mind switched back to the tiger that was pinning her to the ground,'Would she kill my cub after me?',the thought rose in her mind.
Midnight and the rest of the cubs were still hiden in the secret place when they heard Dark roar out something about the leader. Midnight's eyes looked worried,"WEhat did he just roar about my momma?",she asked the other cubs.

Runo's eyes were still on the cubs. Her muscles were tense, and she didn't move as if she were just a statue. The thing wanted her to kill, to smack her paw down and win this thing. But what was she actually doing? She couldn't kill -not unless it was necessary or if it was for prey. Sure she was a very good warrior, but her heart was greater than her skills.
She looked down at the panther, then, though hesitantly, she got off. Her companions stared at her, snarled, and growled. The leader had his eyes on her, watching her closely with a dissatisfied look. Runo stepped off of Shadow, a few steps away she glared down.

Shadow opened her eyes and seemed suprised that the tiger hadn't killed her. She got up and stayed in place,any of the clan cats were amazed that the tiger had not killed Shadow. It seemed that the whole world had stopped and everyone was staring at her and the tiger.
Midnight had spotted her mom right then and was over joyed that the tiger had stepped away. She kept herself in the spot she was supposed to stay in even though she wanted to go to her mom and the tiger,badly.

Runo continued to have some sort of a stare down with the panther. Her claws were still itch for kill, especially panther kill, but she fought the urge. If it weren't for the cubs, she would've done it. But why? The cub was an enemy of her clan, and an easy tooth pick to use.
A leopard walked up to her, "Take them as prisoner? We basically defeated them..." Runo's eyes turned a bit more towards the red lusty color as she turned her head to the fellow warrior. "No!" she hissed. She flicked a glance out of the corner of her eye at Shadow. "Let them be..." she muttered before turning around and walked away. No one made a sound, no one protested. It was like Runo was the only one awake, active, up to her senses.
Or... or was she?

Shadow took this as a sign for her clan to stop fighting. She roared and her clan pulled back and went to the cave of the clan. She took one more glance at the tiger before walking to hr cub,that had already started to race towards her. Midnight nuzzled her mom's leg and mewed happily. Shadow sat down,then layed down and smiled at her cub. Midnight glanced at the tiger before curling up inbetween her mom's paws.

Runo looked over her shoulder at Shadow and Midnight, ears bent back and neck hung low. Sadness and pain swept over her, as if someone had shoved her off a diving board and the impact of the water engulfed her. She walked up to the leader, who gave her a scowl, followed by a growl. "What was that for? I commanded you to attack! You could've killed that wrecked panther... You could've -" Runo interrupted him.
"But I didn't. If I killed the panther, then her cub would surely die, like I did." She gave him a cold stare before walking off with a flick of her tail.

Shadow took off her armor and Dark raced over to pick it up. Dark picked up the armor and took it towards the cave of the clan. Shadow layed her head by her cubs head and watched the rest of the clan's cubs race towards the clan's den. Shadow stayed aware of the clan behind her,who had yet to leave. She pulled her ears back and her cub fell asleep. Shadow picked up her cub by her scruff and walked towards the clan den. She set her down and then sat down beside her as she slept.
Shadow kept an eye on the clan as they began to leave and a deep growl came from her throat when she spotted their second in command looking towards her clan.

Her ears flicked, evidently picking up the low growl. ' I just did you a favor... cool it cat!' she thought. Her feeling of sorrow and pain quickly went away then, and she left with a scowl on her face. The others joined up with her as well. Dark nodded and said,"I know your pain,but you should not burden yourself so much." Shadow nodded and layed down.

Rinkusu walked up next to Runo, "What was all that about?" he said in a low tone. Runo turned around to face him, "Why do you want to know? So you can gripe at me like all the others are doing?!" she snarled. Rinkusu didn't flinch like most other cats would, he didn't take a step back, nor did he seem to really care about the hissing threat. "No." he replied grimly. Runo rolled her eyes and continued to walk towards her den.
Rinkusu glanced back over his shoulder. The lynx could see and hear many of the warriors and other members of the clan discuss about Runo not killing Shadow. He narrowed his eyes, and walked over near the boarder to see how the Shadow-Wind clan was holding up about the strange situation.

Shadow sighed and asked Dark,"Could you watch the clan and my cub for me while I go fly somewere to calm myself?" Dark nodded and said,"I would be happy to. That's what I'm for after all." Shadow bowed and said,"Thank you.",before making her giant bat wings appear on her back and flying off. She had remembered that there was a spot her mother had brought her to as a cub and thought about it's name. "The cave of souls... My mother had called it. I called it the cave of history. But it had no history over the war and how it started." She then reached the cave and landed. Her wings quickly disappeared and she walked inside. She went towards the spot were it stopped and there was no painting to tell of the war's start,but it skipped over the war's start and towards the second battle off the war. She sighed and went farther into the cave. The paints went to a time when the two clans got along with each other and lived in peace. She sighed and layed in that room staring at the paintings.

Runo laid on the floor of her cave den. Tears escaped her now normal blue eyes and soaked her fur. Her claws were extended full time, cleaning onto the hard dirt and rocks that lay beside her. Her breathing turned into unsteady sobs, muffled through her thick arm fur.

Rinkusu stared across the boarder, studying the large cats that lived across it. That was the problem. No one ever knew when one clan would start a war. The boarder was just one jumbled but straight line of relics. Stones, bones, flowers, etc. One could easily cross, but that would only result in an attack and possibly death from one of the clans.
The lynx licked his lips and yawned. The wars could've ended; Shadow-Wind would've became one with Magma-Star if Runo would've just killed that annoying panther! He shook his head, ruffling his fur. What had gotten into that tigress?

Dark saw the lynx cross the boarder and a growl escaped his throat. He went up to the lynx and asked,a bit annoyed,"What is your business on our side of the boarder?" Shadow had kept herself from falling asleep and was flying back to her clan when the lynx crossed the boarder. She landed and went up to Dark and the lynx from the other clan. She sat down and her pupils turned into slits,"Why have you crossed the boarder?",she asked calmly,like she was talking to her own cub.

Rinkusu shook his head, gesturing down at the line. His body and paws were on the Magma-Star side. He looked back up at them and tilted his head, "Do you have any idea why Runo didn't kill you? Do you two know each other well, as in friends?" he asked.

Several tear drops gathered on the hard packed dirt, making it damp. "I... I need to get a grip!" she snarled at herself. "Remembering the past won't bring nothing back! I'm a tiger, I'm a warrior. I am suppose to be part of Magma-Star's future!" She said all this slowly, in a mere whisper.
She stood up and walked out of her den, spotting Rinkusu talking to a leopard and... a panther?

"No I have only seen her once before and that was when I was protecting my cub.",Shadow said and then it dawned on her of why the tiger hadn't killed her,"My cub.",she repeated. Dark looked at her and asked,"What about Midnight?" Shadow replied,"That's why. That's why she didn't kill me.(Also because you didn't want to end the role play so quick,right?)" Dark looked confused,"A warrior didn't kill you because she saw you with your cub this morning?",he asked. Shadow nodded.

Rinkusu frowned. The cub? Just because of the stupid cub? Was Runo crazy?! "The cub..." he muttered. "All that for a cub..." His ears bent back and his pupils turned into slits. He turned around and saw Runo watching them, "RUNO!" he yelled. "Get over here."
Runo slowly walked towards the boarder, next to Rinkusu. She stared at Dark and Shadow, then at her friend. "Yes?" she asked. Her voice was still cracked, and her eyes were still shining from the salty tears. Rinkusu studied her, but then shook his head. "Explain." was all he requested.
