Shadow was silent and couldn't believe that these other clan cat were talking to them with out attacking them for so long,so was Dark.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

"Explain what?" Runo still had a shaky voice. "Explain why I didn't kill her?" she narrowed her eyes. Rinkusu nodded. "I didn't kill her because...because..." She looked away, tears still stinging her eyes. Her claws sank deeply into the ground, as if she would let go she would drift away up in the sky. "Because I didn't..." she muttered sadly before walking away... again.
Rinkusu growled. "You just cost us everything though! It's not like you to not kill them, especially if Leader Ash commanded your curse -" Runo turned around and snarled at him. "Shut it Lynx-boy! No one needs to freaking know!"

Shadow pulled her ears back and thought for a moment before useing her shadow to cover the mouth of the Lynx's shadow and cause him to not be able to talk clearly,but only in mumbles. She sighed and heard her cub coming,but kept her power going. Midnight stopped by her momma's side and said,"Momma! Momma!" Shadow replied,"What?",but her power kept on.

The shadow burned the Lynx's snout. Her grimaced, and tears came to his eyes.
Runo snarled at Shadow, "Knock it off or next time we go to war I won't keep you alive!" she yelled. She looked down at the cub, sadness in her eyes. She bent her head down low and nudged the cub in the cheek, "Hey, I'm sorry."

Midnight hid under Shadow and backed up a bit when the tiger nudged her. Shadow sighed and quit useing her power before leaping into a near by tree. Midnight saw that the tree had a near to the ground branch and lept onto it. She forgot what she was going to say and lept up the branches before,finally,making it up onto the branch Shadow was on.

Dark sighed and walked back to the clan's cave. Shadow picked the cub up by her scruff and jumped from the tree. She landed gracefully and glanced at the cats from the other clan before walking a yard away and laying down before setting her cub down.

Rinkusu sat down next to Runo, glancing at the cats. "Would you mind telling me what it wrong?" he asked. Runo sighed, "When I was a small cub, my mother got killed by the Shadow-Wind clan. This was way before I joined up with Magma-Star. Anyway, for weeks I've been starving and terrified. I didn't know how to hunt, so I couldn't catch prey, I was terrible at fighting so I couldn't defend myself. I was so close to being dead when Ash found me. He took me in and treated me like I was his own cub. But as I grew older, we became to come further and further apart. He still thinks I shall live up to be some sort of hero for the clan. We always encourages me to go and kill the Shadow-Wind, and I usually obey."
"So why didn't you this time?" he asked.
"I couldn't. I just couldn't. The panther had a cub, and if I killed the mother, who would be there for the cub?" "The rest of the clan." "No, it's not the same. I know because I knew what it was like with no mother, and to be raised by others, it is not the same love. And I still can't forgive Ash for setting that curse on me. Never." Runo sighed and laid her head down, resting it on her paws.

Midnight yanked on Shadow's ear with her mouth and Shadow pawed at her belly. Midnight laughed and jumped onto Shadow's back. Shadow rolled over and Midnight feel off of her back. Midnight jumped onto Shadow's stomach and growled playfully. Shadow screamed and then made her head fall onto the ground,her tongue fell into the corner of her mouth and she held back a laugh. Midnight lifted a paw and let out a fake and small roar of triumph. Shadow then popped her head up and yelled out,"Boo!" Midnight screamed and ran away. Shadow chased after her,slowly,and kept saying,"I'm gonna get you!"

Shadow began to slow down and acted like she was tired. She fell to the ground and closed her eyes. Midnight was truely tired and fell to the ground before yawning and falling asleep. Shadow picked her up by her scruff and took her into the cave that all the cubs were taking a nap in. She left her cub there with the nursery lioness and cheetah. She then walked towards a smooth rock near the territory's edge and layed ontop of it.

Leader Ash walked up behind Runo. He bent down low and gazed into her eyes. "You have some spirit, fighting off your curse that I gave you years ago." he grumbled. Runo clenched her eyes shut, "Leave me alone..." she cried. "I hate you! Leave me alone!" The lion gazed up at Shadow, then down at Runo. He then whispered in her ear, "Kill."
The tigress opened her eyes abruptly, her eye color now a deep crimson red.

Shadow had seen Ash speaking to Runo and was already up and had gotten Midnight by her scruff before making her bat wings appear and taking off into the air. She flew over their territory and her cub awoke. "Fly!",Shadow said and Midnight made her own set of wings appear. She flew upwards as Shadow roared to the clan and they all went to the cub's cave. Shadow flew upwards with her cub and motioned towards the nearest body of water.

Runo stayed in the shadows,a low growl escaping her throat. She crossed over the boarder, keeping low to the ground. Leader Ash had a satisfied look on his face before turning to walk away.

Ash walked back to his mate in the den. "I have sent Runo out to hopefully finish that stupid panther off." he grinned. His mate just nodded, but didn't reply. "Sometimes I wish that you would of never put that curse on that poor tigress." she shook her head.
Runo crept up behind a small leopard cub who was all alone. She kept in the shadows so she could not be seen. She watched the cub, who was unaware of her presence. She smiled and pounced on the child, snapping it's neck and running back to the boarder.
Rinkusu licked his lips, cleaning the blood off from the hare he captured. He stood up and shook his fur, returning back to the clan.

Shadow thought she heard a roar come from her clan and turned around. She grabbed Midnight by her scruff and pressed her wings to her sides. She darted down into the clan territory,unfolded her wings inches above the cave cave and landed ontop of it. She didn't dare to touch the ground and roared out threatening to kill Ash. Midnight flew in the air and then landed on Shadow's back and said,almost silently,"That was my friend named Flame..."

Runo carried the now dead cub by the scruff. She cross the boarder back into her own clan's territory. Ash and his mate waited outside of their den, only Ash having a pleasant smile on his face. Runo walked up to them, holding the small leopard cub up. Others gathered around the den, and tilted their head in confusion. Ash just chuckled, "Runo and I, we, together, have formed a plan. This right here, what Runo is holding up, is the start of it!"
Rinkusu nudged and shoved his way past the other large cats that had gathered. He stared at the dead cub in Runo's mouth, and narrowed his eyes. 'So you decide to kill a cub, even after your long spiel about how much you cared about them?' he thought. 'Runo, for being one of the smartest cats in this clan, you confuse me very much so.'

Shadow sighed and said,"It will be fine my child." She then took Midnight to the back of the cave that everyone was in and sighed. She then told Dark that,if she did not return,to take care of Midnight. Dark sighed and nodded. Shadow then took off towards the other clans territory. She landed in a tree,silently,and watched them as she thought,'You monster. Ash... Your a monster. You created a monster to do all your dirty work,because you are to afriad to do them yourself...' She then narrowed her eyes and shook her head.

Runo placed the cub down at Ash's feet. "So what's the plan?" one of the clan cats called. Ash shook his head, turning towards the tree that Shadow hid in. He turned back towards the crowd. "Unfortunate, most of you can't know until the time is right." he chuckled darkly. His sharp claws glimmered in the sun light as he quickly sliced into the cub. The blood spilled all over his ashed fur, and all over the ground.
Runo stared down at the cub, her eyes still a crimson red... until she saw the blood. Her eyes quickly turned to her normal blue and she gasped. "L... Leader Ash! W..What are you doing?" she asked. She took several steps back. Ash looked up at her, "Hum?" Runo was shaking, staring down at the cub in horror. "Wh...What happened? W..Why is that cub here?" she asked. Many murmurs and whispers went around the clan. "You killed him and brought him here." Rinkusu answered. "ME?!" Runo was startled. SHE killed the cub. "But..I... no... I..." tears gathered in her eyes as the tigress ran out of the large, still gathering group. "I'm not a killer... I don't kill cubs!" she hollered out as her paws carried her away.
