Shadow looked at Runo and thought. Follow me... Before she let her wings come into view and motioned for her to come.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Runo nodded, and watched Shadow. Rinkusu growled though, also hearing the thought. Runo made psychic platforms for her to walk on, but Rin tackled her to the ground. "No!" he growled.

Dark looked at the lynx and growled. "Let her go if she wants to!",he yelled and pushed him off of Runo. Shadow swooped down and yelled,"Dark! Leave him be!"

Rinkusu slashed Dark, leaving a scratch form his ear to his shoulder. "Back off!" he snarled.

Shadow looked at Dark and sighed out,"Go back to the clan and watch over them." Dark nodded and raced off to do as told. Shadow looked at the lynx. "Runo can have a choice to go or not. Let her make her own choice.",she said calmly and kept a respectable distance away.

Shadow looked at him and said,"The only monster here is you and your leader. Your leader put a monster inside Runo and forces her to do his dirty work. You call me and my clan monsters? Take a look at you and everyone in your clan that listens to Ash. Ash is a monster along with the rest of your clan. Runo is the only one who isn't a monster in that clan of yours!" She then thopught about the cave she felt her mother's presence at and flew into the air before darting of towards it. "The Cave of Spirits,The Cave of Souls,The Cave of History. I don't care what it is called. My mother came there with me as a cub,she went their to take her last breaths. It is important that I take my last breaths there when it is my time. I need to add some more things to that now.",she said to herself as she flew.

Runo sat down silently near the water's edge and sighed sadly. Rinkusu sighed as well and curled up behind her, wrapping his body around her and rested his head at her front paws. "I'm sorry Runo, I just can't really trust them though. We've been at war with them for years..." he sighed.

Shadow went into the cave. She grabbed the paints and began to add more on the war,the curses,the continueing sorrow. She sighed and said to herself,"I hope I will be here to add stuff of the war ending and peace coming back." She then flew back to Runo and stayed on her clan's side of the river. She layed down and looked at her reflection with a sigh.

Runo stared at Shadow, then back down at the river water.
Footsteps could be heard, walking up behind Runo and Rinkusu. "I always knew you two would become mates..." Ash smirked. "You don't know a rat's behind, Ash!" Runo growled. Rin stiffened, but didn't say anything. "Oh?" Ash chuckled.

Shadow raised her head at Ash's voice,but then sighed and looked back down at her reflection. She saw nothing that looked a bit like her mother. She only saw depression and sorrow. Her mother was always joyful and never sad. Shadow then sighed once more and slamed a paw down of her reflection. She stood up and then sat back down and looked down at the grass.

Ash chuckled, "What is wrong, Shadow-pie?" he laughed. His eyes turned a slight red
Runo covered her ears and locked her eyes shut. She began to moan and grunt, panting hard in pain. "S...S...Stop!"
Rinkusu backed away, startled.

Shadow flattened her ears to her head and ignored Ash. "Go away... Go crawl back down into Hell!",she roared,then her ears went back and her eyes took the color of blood red. Her eyes never took this color until now,she never needed them to. She turned around and roared,"I will widow your mate like you widowed me!" "I will make sure your death is as slow and as painful as possible! I will force you back to Hell were you belong!",she roared. She then took a few steps into the river. She had never felt so furious before and it seemed to take over every part of her body.

Ash smirked, before his eyes turned fully red.
Runo screamed, but soon her scream turned into a monstrous roar. Her eyes were pure red, and she glared at Shadow. "Touch him and I'll break your snout!" she growled.
Rinkusu jumped at Runo's sudden change.

Shadow's anger had now taken over her mind as well and she ignored Runo. She charged straight at Ash and there was only one thing put in her mind... Kill Ash like he killed Fisher! She pounced onto him and her claws imediatly dug into his skin. She roared out,"You use Runo to do all your dirty work because you are a coward!" She then took one of her paws and dug her claws back into him,near his heart.

Ash howled in pain, but then smiled. "I choose not to fight cause I'm just too powerful, and if I fight you then I would easily smash that pretty little face of yours." He laughed. A large fire bubble appeared around him and Shadow, burning her fur and doing major damage.
Runo just stood there and watched, claws itching to kill once again.

Shadow growled,but in her,almost,mindless state she didn't seem to show any pain. She then picked her paw up and slamed onto the side of his face with a large amount of force. She lifted her paw and paid no attension to if she had done any damage. She left slamed her paw down on his throat and dug her claws into his skin.
Dark heard the commotion and had Midnight by her scruff. He didn't dare put her down as he stood up and raced towards the sorce of the noise.

Ash roared, kicking Runo into action. Runo tackled Shadow off of Ash, sinking her teeth into her flesh. She started ripping at her neck, feeling delighted of the taste of fresh, warm blood. She stopped tearing up her neck and roared into her face.
Rinkusu titled his head, feeling guilty.

Shadow sort of flinched and her eye color went back to normal at the enourmous amount of pain. She snapped back and then her eyes turned into their calming sky blue she thought for a moment about Midnight and then her mind went back towards Runo. 'Would this eye color work to calm her enough? Will I die here and leave Midnight with the feeling I had when my mother died?',the thoughts rose in her mind,but her eyes kept the calming sky blue color.
Dark reached the other side of the river and saw the fight before Midnight. "Close your eyes tight.",he told Midnight. She obeyed and didn't dare look at what was happening,she was too terrified to. Dark stayed on the other side of the river and put Midnight on the ground. The cub curled up tight and hid her face under her paws. Dark's eyes seemed to fill with fear and horror as he stared at Shadow's blood coming from her neck.
Shadow felt her cub's presence and her ears pressed to her head. Her eyes seemed to change from their calming color to a deep purple that showed the fear that filled her inside.

Runo heard her thoughts, and paused. Her snarl was still set on her snout, but her eyes showed differently. Her eyes pleaded for Shadow to kill her.
Ash disappeared, without a trace.
Rinkusu saw Dark, but his full attention was on Runo and Shadow,.
