Shadow looked at Runo and shook her head as she thought. 'I can't...' Her mind snapped and went against her though as she thought of Midnight. Her eyes changed back to the blood red color. She then put her claws to Runo's neck and stopped before looking at her. Although her eyes were blood red they still had something in them that said,'I'm sorry.' She then pushed her claws into her neck and right into her life pumping artery.(Forgot how to spell that.) She then flipped out from under her and landed ontop of her. She took her claws out of her neck in a slicing motion and made sure Runo wouldn't suffer. She looked into her eyes and the color of her eyes changed to their normal color as she watched the twinkle in her eyes begin to fade.

Runo fought, but couldn't get Shadow's claws out of her throat. Runo could hear Ash's chuckle in the back of her mind, and then her eyes returned normal. She could now fully feel the pain Shadow was inflicting on her. She screamed, trying to claw Shadow gently to tell her to stop, but was becoming too weak.
Rinkusu gasped, then ran and tackled Shadow to the ground. He raised his paw, claws fully extended.

Shadow didn't fight to free herself. She just put her ears to her head and thought over what had just happened. 'Runo is suffering,when I didn't want her to and I caused it.',she thought. She then closed her eyes at the sight of the lynx's claws.

Runo tackled Rin off of her, gasping from blood loss. "Knock it off!" she growled. "But she hurt you!" Rin protested. "She didn't mean it!"

Shadow stood up and watched Runo. Her heart ached at the sight of her slowly dieing. She sighed and kept her ears to her head. Dark watched and made sure that Midnight still wasn't looking. He could see the blood comeing from Runo and the blood coming from Shadow. It appeared that Shadow's neck had almost stopped bleeding completely,but Runo looked on the edge of death.

Shadow looked terrified at the sight of Runo and it appeared that tears were begining to build up in her eyes.

Rinkusu nudged Runo in the side. "It's okay, c'mon; I'll take you back to the clan and you can be healed by Doc. Tigger." he said. Runo growled, "No! I'm not going back to that stupid clan!" she snarled, her eyes turning red again. She pounced on Rin, sinking her claws into his chest, close to his heart. He screamed, "Runo! What the bloody hell do you think you're doing!"

Shadow shook her head and made the tears building up go away. She went over and pushed Runo off of the lynx before roaring at her to stop. She then sat down and looked at Runo,her eyes a violet color that meant to stay away from him. She shook her head and her eyes went back to normal. "The only killing that should be done is that of Ash...",she said to her and then sat down.

But Runo wasn't in control, it was the demon. She snarled, fur standing up. She glared at Shadow and Rinkusu, then her gaze traveled over to Dark and Midnight. She growled, but then turned away and ran, deciding to take a loop around to the other side... >:D

Dark noticed were she was going and felt something inside him that made him nervous. He yelled at Midnight,"Go! Open your eyes and run to your mother!" Midnight obey and ran straight into the river. She swam as quick as she could and got to Shadow. Shadow rubbed her cub's head and then said,"Hide my child." Midnight could see the fear in Shadow's eyes and this worried her so she nodded her head and flew up into a near by tree. Shadow looked at Dark and Dark turned his head to look at her before catching Runo's scent and turning towards it.

Rinkusu shook his head, "Runo would never kill a cub..." he sighed. But then look what happened earlier today. She did. She snuck into the other clan and killed and stole a cub. To the Magma-Star clan, cubs were everything, and they were the future. Taking out the cubs meant no more future for Shadow-Wind, and the mothers and fathers would grieve without their cubs, weakening them for a straight on going attack. He frowned, picking up Runo's scent, before it got hidden. "Wha?"
Runo stood against the wind, facing the hiding place. She was standing in the position to where the wind blew the cub's scent towards her, but Runo's scent away from everyone else. The current of the wind... always helpful when hunting. She grinned, stalking closer to Midnight's hiding spot.

Shadow felt something in her that made her want to turn towards her cub. She obeyed the feeling and her wings came into view. She flew up to Midnight. Her feeling was correct. She picked Midnight up by her scruff and darted from the tree. Dark followed by making his strange feathered white and brown wings appear and flying up to them.

Runo snarled. She created psychic platforms to walk and run on and followed them.

Runo pounced form her platform and tackled Shadow in mid air. Her teeth bit into the already ripped open wound on Shadow's neck, ripping more flesh off.
Rinkusu widened his eyes, unsure of what to do.

Shadow wings disappeared and she plummeted towards the ground. Midnight let out a terrified roar that sounded like it had come from Shadow and dove down towards her. Midnight's wings appeared on her back and she unfolded them before catching herself in the air and trying to get Shadow to fly upwards. The problem was... Shadow had been knocked out at the impact of Runo's body hitting her's. She now fell to the ground and Dark dove after her .

Knowing that Shadow was knocked out, Runo turned towards Midnight. She crouched into pouncing position, her eyes a blood lust red. "Cub..." she growled.
Rinkusu finally caught to them, but still frozen in between choices.
((Yeah, Rin is not much of a help, is he? T___T))

Dark took this moment to help and he didn't stop himself from diving. He rammed into Runo and pushed her off of her platform. Shadow finally hit the ground and a large cloud of dust puffed up around her body. She laid there and was still breathing,but she was unaware of her cub being in danger. Midnight roared angerily at Runo,like that of a full grown lion and looked at Shadow with worry filling her body. Dark paused at Midnight's roared and smiled,but then turned his attention back to Runo. Midnight flew upwards a bit more and thought,'Momma wants me safe then I should stay with her and if she gets killed I might as well too.' At that thought she went down to her mother and landed her wings disappeared and she licked Shadow's cheek. "Momma it's your little girl... Wake up... Please momma... I need you and if you don't wake up I might loose you forever.",Midnight whined and went over to lay by her chest. Midnight wiggled under her mother's paw and layed with her head close to Shadow's heart.

Runo heard Midnight's desperate please. She paused, staring up at Dark. Her eyes were still a blood lust red, but the way her muscles relaxed told she wanted to stop. The last sentence of Midnight's is what snapped her out of it. She kicked Dark off of her and walked towards Midnight. She bent her head down low, nudging the cub and purring. She looked down at Shadow, and her eyes returned to normal. Her ears bent down and a look of major guilt ran through her eyes. she bent down she scooped Shadow onto her back. "Rin, might need a little help here..." she grunted.
Rinkusu blinked, but then ran over towards Runo and helped her support Shadow. "Runo, you need to be healed..." The tiger shot him a glance. "And Shadow... we need to heal Shadow too."
