Midnight saw Shadow's tail touching the ground and decided to grab it,gently,in her mouth. She looked up at the lynx with eyes that said,'My momma needs to be healed... I need her...' Dark went to Midnight and sighed. He looked at her and whispered into her ear,"You know that your momma loves you,right? And that she wouldn't want to see her brave little girl give up,right?" Midnight nodded,put Shadow's tail down and said,"I know." Dark nodded and whispered one more thing into her ear,"She loves you and as long as you love her back it will all be ok." Midnight nodded and said,"Ok,Dark." "Umm... Dark?",Midnight asked. "What is it?",He replied. Midnight lifted up Shadow's tail and asked,"Can you hold momma's tail,please?" Dark smiled and said,"Sure." Midnight motioned for Dark to bend his head down and he did. She put her mouth's tail on his nose and said,"Hold it very gently in your mouth please please." Dark nodded and did so before looking at Runo and the lynx.

Runo smiled at Midnight and Dark.
"So what now? We can't take her back to our clan." Rinkusu huffed. "No, we go to their's." Runo answered, already taking a few steps towards their barrier. Rinkusu slowly followed, "YEah, I'm sure they're gonna be real pleased to have their leader back all bloody and got brought in by two enemies." he rolled his eyes. "You have talked more today than you have any other..." Runo said, warning him to shut up.

Midnight had already reached the water and was doggy swimming to their side of the boarder. Dark stepped into the water with his front paws and still held Shadow's tail in his mouth. He knew the water wasn't too deep and that they could easily get Shadow across without anyone drowning. He said,with the tail making it hard to speak,"I'll mak sir na fihts break at." He then noticed Midnight was on the other side of the river waiting for them. Shadow moaned slightly,but then became silent and Dark looked at her wondered if she was going to be alright.

"I... I am so sorry." Runo said as they took their first steps into the cold water. "This is all my fault... I' m a hazard to myself and others. I knew I should've left, I knew I should've far, far away." she sobbed. Rinkusu looked at her through the corner of his eyes, "It's... it's okay, Runo." "Bloody hell, it's not okay you git!" Runo growled. "I'm a murderer who can't keep hold of her locker! It's not okay!"

Dark looked at them and thought,'Stop fighting and forget what you did Shadow knows it was not you that did it and so does Midnight.' Midnight yelled over at them,"I know that you didn't do it Runo,it's ok!"

Dark walked through the water and Midnight got up onto his back by jumping once they all made it over the her mother's clans side of the river.

The other cats stared as they brought Shadow in. Runo frowned and closed her eyes the rest of the walk. She didn't want others to look at her like she was a monster... a monster that she really was.

Dark waited til' Midnight said to put Shadow's tail down. The healer of the clan looked at Runo and the lynx with no emotions.

Runo backed away slightly, her head bent down and her eyes pulled down and back.
Rinkusu just stood his ground, giving every cat he passed by a death glare.

Dark saw what he was doing and snapped at him. "They won't hurt you if you quit with that stare of yours.",he said calmly as the healer began to search through many strange herbs and hand-made ointments. It found a strange ointment and put it on Shadow's neck wound before going to another part of her medicine and healing collection and grabbing some bandages that were made by her. She wrapped the bandages around Shadow's neck and thought a moment before going to a shelf made of rock and finding a ointment to put on Shadow's snout. She found it a rubbed some on her snout,gently,with her tail. Shadow imediatly moaned and coughed slightly before raising her head and looking around.

Rinkusu growled, "Don't tell me what to do you bloody git!" His claws unsheathed and he growled at Dark. "Rin, knock it off!" Runo yelled. She apologized to everyone who was watching, "Sorry, he's usually not this aggressive... Um.. yeah.." she bowed her head, ashamed.

"Dark and I carried you..." Runo said quietly. She didn't want to look at the cats. She knew they thought that she did it, and they were right. Her claws and fur were stained with blood, as well as around her mouth. She looked like a mess, a monster, exactly what she was.
Rinkusu continued to give death glares, which didn't help in the situation either.

Shadow shook her head and said,not worrying about herself,"You really need to clean yourself off before coming here. My clan's cats might attack you for that."
Midnight nodded and sat down before looking up at Runo.

"Which is more important, my fur being cleaned or your life being saved." Runo muttered quietly. She turned around and nudged Rin on the shoulder, "Let's go." she whispered. Rinkusu tilted his head and smiled, "I have a better idea," Runo growled, "NO RIN! Stop it," "Oh fine, let's go," he didn't knock off the smirk, and followed Runo out of the clan's territory. Wehn they were in the center of their own territory, he sent a thought to Ash, Give her a command, we've been inside the other clan, she knows how to get around now...

Shadow didn't have a good feeling inside her when they left and knew there would be trouble. She stood up and looked at Dark. Dark saw the worry in her eyes and nodded before going into the den that the cubs were in and telling the two that watched over them to hide them and the cubs. Shadow roared to the rest of the clan and they all hid. Shadow grabbed Midnight by her scruff and went to a tree that had a hiden hole under it for her to hide in. Dark hid,soon,everyone was hiden and the clan's territory seemed to be a ghost town.

Runo stared down at the river's water, the river that traveled through her clan's territory. She sighed, she was a monster, a freak. "Stop thinking like that now," she heard Rin, and he nudged her under her chin. "You're not a monster, nor a freak." "Than what the bloody hell am I? Why do I even have this curse?" "Leader Ash says it's not a curse, but a part of you. A gift." "Screw what Ash says, I'm tired of it. I want it gone."
"I'm afraid I can't do that, young Runo." came Ash's voice. Runo's fur stood on end, "Leave me alone," she sighed. "Really? You turn me down when all I want is a favor?" He grinned, "What more do you want other than to make my life even worse?" she sobbed. Ash shook his head and went over and lied down next to Runo. "I am improving your life, teaching you, nurturing you. And right now... I am teaching you how to hunt." he smiled. "I already know how to-" "Bring me back a cub, I'm hungry, and you are in the mood to hunt." Runo's eyes turned red. "I am..."

"More specifically, a panther cub..." Ash laughed before disappearing once again.
Something happened, she began to... evolve somehow. She grew bigger, and her eyes began to glow. Her claws were longer and she just over all looked more menacing.
