Giratina was once trapped in a dimension known as the Reverse World as way of punishment for its violent ways. What was not recorded in history was the fact that the almighty Arceus vowed that if Giratina should dare to wander from this dimensional prison then it would suffer the consequences. Giratina dwelled in its dimension for years, its savage heart gradually becoming calmer and even kind. But one fateful day, an evil human organisation known as Team Darkside tempted Giratina out of its domain and attacked it for its power. Giratina escaped, but Arceus did not know that Giratina was wrongly drawn from its dimensional prison, and assumed that the Renegade Pokemon had tried to escape, and acted on its vow to make the Pokemon suffer; Arceus used its powers to painfully separate Giratina's two forms into seperate Pokemon and cast them out into the world to die.

But either Giratina found a human partner, a human partner they recognised as having extraordinary potential, and bonded to them in the hopes that they wqould one day be able to become one Pokemon once more, and beg Arceus' forgiveness. Can their chosen human partners help them achieve this?

My character will be the one bonded to Altered Form Giratina, the other character can have Origin Forme Giratina. Shiny Pokemon are allowed. No legendaries apart from Giratina, however (Phione and Zorua are not counter as legendaries, though).

Name: Alexis Jones

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Human Form Looks: An attractive young girl but one who doesn't particularly strive to show off her beauty. She has slightly pale skin, deep indigo-blue eyes, long black eyelashes, brown shoulder-length hair which fades to black near the ends, and a height of 5'8''. Her build is slightly skinny. She wears a very warm, thermal navy-blue coat with a white fake-fur collar, white t-shirt, brown leather belt, denim jeans and black mountain-boots. Always wears a red woolen scarf around her neck and always wears the coat to hide a series of horrific burn-marks on her arms.

Personality: Alexis is an introvert by nature; she rarely speaks to others unless she is addressed directly or said person is already recognised as a friend to her. She can be a little shy at times, but overcomes this around friends; she is kind, gentle and caring to those she loves. The reason for her reluctance to talk to strangers is thanks to her past, and as such she has problems with confidence and self-esteem now and again. She becomes braver when facing someone who has harmed a loved one in some way; Alexis forms very strong bonds of friendship when she does open up, and is loyal to the end. She's more than willing to die for someone she loves...but right now there's nobody to care for her or for her to care for in return apart from her Pokemon.

History (optonal): Alexis grew up in an orphanage, and a bad one at that; she was abused by adults and children alike for her fragile condition and introverted attitude, which only worsened as time went on. Eventually, it became too much for Alexis and she ran away from home, taking with her the Pidgey, Ponyta, Snorunt and Shinx she had befriended. She fled to the forest, but it wasn't long before she encountered Altered-Forme Giratina; the Renegade Pokemon was in a blind rage from being separated from its other form and attacked Alexis, who was left with the horrific burn-marks she still has. For quite some time, Alexis was left with a great fear of Giratina. Giratina eventually regained its senses and felt terrible shame for its actions, and as way of asking her forgiveness it bonded itself to her and promised to protect her from then on. It took a while for Alexis to overcome her fears, but now she and Giratina are as close as any humans could ever be. They can understand each other's pain and hurt.

The day was just perfect. The sun was out and it was a nice day to just be outside. The breeze was soft and gently rustled the leaves overhead. The sun was warming on the skin and warmed up the pokemon who were enjoying the outside. The wild pokemon grazed the grass and plucked berries from the trees. Some were drinking fromthe stream justin front of the trainer, who took refuge under the shade of tree.

Ryu Onihara sat under the tree just in front of the stream. It trickled in from the mountains and the water was cold. He watched all his pokemon, except one, go about their own thing. He stretched out and placed his hands behind his head, shielding his hair from the tree bark. He let out a yawn and he rubbed his eyes on his sleeves. Today was just beautiful. He watched his pokemon eat from the bushes. Siren, his vulpix, was working with Jaaku, his Gengar, to get a few Oran berries that were just toohigh for one pokemon alone. He chuckled. Those two hadn't always gotten along, but none of that amttered now.

Oni, his shinx, was curled up on hislap, purring away in content. He had recently gotten this little guy and he already trusted the pokemon like he did the others.THe gently ran his hand along the shinx back and pet him gently. Hydra, the altaria, was bathing in the stream, and eventually got out to sit in the grass and preen her clouds? feathers? He could never figure out what to call them. His old paland long time pokemon Axel, was napping in the sun.The arcanine's eyes would oopen every so often to look at the vulpix and make sure all way well. His Giratina however, was upabove,, staying away from them all. He felt lucky to have the legend trust him. He sighed and looked at the sky, clouds were coming in. They might need to find shelter soon.

Ryu brushed off the bits of grass that stuck to his pants after he fell and put his hand on Axel's head. He smiled nicely and nodded to Alexis' name and he actually found her accent nicely fitting. He looked over the rapidash, which he now realized was a female, mainly from the name. He smiled up at Alexis and stood up straighter to make up for his shock of the Rapidash. He nodded once more. "The pleasure's mine, Ms. Jones. My name's Ryu Onihara, you can call me Ryu."

He gave her a small bow and he heard Axel bark at him. He stood up and pet his companions head. "And this big guy over here is Axel. He won't hurt you." He smiled and nodded. He grabbed his backpack and slung itover his shoulder, pulling the strap tighter around his chest. He jumped on his Arcanine, which was a little bigger than normal, just enough to ride on. "I'd hate to keep you here while the clouds are coming in. So, are you going to look for a place to stay the night?" He looked at Alexis curiously and Arcanine walked toward the stream, since that was the way they had been heading. "We can go look for a place to stay together. If you want that is!" He blushed a little, feeling a bit embaras.sed for saying that while not knowing if she even wanted company.

Ryu was actually a bit nervous when she was contemplating his offer, but was actually very relieved when she agreed to find some shelter with him. How awkward would it have been if she had said no? Oh man, he would have felt so weird because that was so weird to have a man offer you to find shelter out of the blue. His mind wandered over to his Giratina. The pokemon seemed to distant recently and it really bothered him. Noramally the legend was at least here with him and curled up around all the pokemon, all of them sharing body heat when the weather got bad. He sighed slightly and Axel turned his head and nudge his trainer's hand. Ryu smiled and pat his Arcanine. "I know he's okay buddy. Let's go."

Axel jumped over the stream and gently skid across the dirt on teh other side , his paws bringing up dirt and rocks. Axel looked at Alexis and her Rapidash, Kira. He barked adn Ryu pat his head gently. "Come on, Alexis. You don't wanna be caught in the rain when it comes over here. It rains pretty bad this time of the year. He smiled slightly and beckoned her with his hand. Axel took a few steps forward, giving Kira enough room to jump over the stream next to him, if she wanted. Axel barked again,at Kira and he bobbed his head slightly. His tail wagging slightly. "Don't worry Ax. We're going to  get shelter and you won't get wet." HGe smiled.

Ryu watched at the pidgeot, who he now knew was named Wren, flew off in search of some shelter. He smiled and took out his own pokeball, not wanting Wren to have to fight her way through the bad weather alone and get hurt. The pokeball enlarged and he tossed it up in the air. In a shower of sparks, his altaria emerged from the ball and hovered near them. "Alright, Hydra, I need you to go after Wren and keep an eye on it okay? If Wren doesn't want you there, well, tough. Keep Wren safe, alright?" The altaria cooed and took off in the direction the Pidgeot had flown earlier. Ryu nodded and Axel barked before he whined a little. "Alright alright... Come on." He pat Axel's side and Axel threw his head back before he took a few steps back.
