The vampire tilted his head to one side. "I'd rather not fight women. It goes against my policy. And you are still very pretty. Even though you are a cat-woman," he said with a smile. "Perhaps we will meet again later. My wounds need to be healed before another round with you, Lady Slayer." Then he bowed low -- like an English nobleman would do in the King's [ or Queen's ] court -- one arm was across his stomach while the other was in the small of his back. And even as he talked, somebody could pick up a faint British accent.

She stared in surprise then sighed.

"Something is making me go crazy but whatever. That seems like me these days. " She didn't even flinch as she made used her claws to make a scratch on her neck,  and walking over to him.

"Might as well drink while your here. I've got nothing to live for," she muttered tilting her neck and making sure the wound stayed open.

"Don't say no. I know you will feel hungry anyway. Besides I have a skill at knowing what vamps like these days," she chuckled humoreslly with a straight face. They did like blood of stronger people right?

He chuckled softly. "Somethings never cease to amaze me," he said as he stared at the open wound on her neck. Tilting his head down, he bared his fangs before digging them into her flesh; causing more blood to rise. Withdrawing his fangs, he started to suck the blood up into his mouth before it traveled down his throat.

She gasped as the fangs touched her skin, but she wasn't surprised. Her body had prepared her. But the cat was irritating her. As the waves of pain slowly tilted down, pleasure rushed up to meet and before she could stop herself, she started purring and pulled the man down to the ground. She couldn't believe it, but she...liked it. She liked having him pull the life out of her.

Man she was really messed up now.

She was pulling him closer, when she should be pushing him away. She was holding him like a lover or friend, when she should be killing him like the enemy he was. She should hate being a snack for him, but she loved it. She didn't understand why, but she did. He was going to be a drug to her, because she was crazy enough to enjoy him stealing her life away.

The next words were what shocked her the most.

"Don't kill inno-gasp-cents. Just drink from me -small mewl- because I can't kill you. I don't want you killing others," she felt her hands gentle caressing the hair on the back of his neck, and she couldn't understand why it felt so soft.

"God. I'm going crazy," she said and let herself go, letting herself be his bloodbag.

The vampire removed his mouth from the wound on her neck. "Can't kill me, hm?" he asked. By now he was full... again. Using his fangs, he bit his tounge and used the tip to run it over the wounds on Ashley's neck. As his blood came into concact with the jagged flesh, the skin knit itself back together, leaving no trace of a scare.

"And to stop me from killing innocence, you'll have to find me first," he said with a small hint of playfullness in his tone. He helped Ashley to he feet and his mind touched hers. This time he spoke actual words directly into her line of thought;

'My name is Kyrain Ravenmoore. It was a pleasure meeting you, Lady Slayer.'

Kyrain thought it to her so clearly, that it could've been spoken word.

She froze then smiled a bit. " I will eventually. Either that, or you'll come after me," she gave him a flirtatious grin that was a little like that of a predator playing with it's prey, but it didn't matter. Either way, they'd probably never meet again.

She suddenly felt pain strike through her whole body and closed her eyes, biting her lip. The gods were not happy with her, she could tell. She gasped in pain as it just kept escalating. But there was nothing she could do. She growled and punched the wall. She had to leave him. She had to leave this place. But god forbid she never wanted to leave. The gods slashed down at her again and she couldn't stand it. Only a moment left.

"I'm Ashley Akira Torrets. If you ever come after me, you'll know what to say," she said her eyes flashing in anger and pain. She didn't want to leave him. But she had to. She had to keep killing, she had to. The gods were telling her. She didn't tell him that she was leaving the town, she didn't tell him she wasn't going to be back. If he sensed it, then he could do what he wanted but she couldn't tell him.

The pain pounded on her once more and she screamed. She hated being who she was, but she had to. The gods had made her who she was and she was breaking the rules. She couldn't give him a proper goodbye. She gave out a cry and rammed past him, running down the streets to get out of the city. 

She was being punished.

Punished for begining to love a vampire.

Kyrain's spine stiffened when she screamed and his dull golden eyes showed obvious confusion. And when she pushed past him, he stumbled and watched her go with a sullen ex
pression. He looked at the ground. Why was she screaming? Did he do something wrong. Facing a wall, he placed his forehead on it and sighed.

"And somethings always seem to make me more confused that usual."

She wished she could send a message. Wait maybe he would heard her through her mind.

I'm sorry Kyrain. I'm so sorry. I..don't know how to explain what is going on. I just can stay this.

They will kill me if I stay with you. They  will kill me because I've fallen from the lines. Please..don't come after me. They will kill you too.

She sent him what she could, pictures of the people that controlled her, gave her this curse, a curse in her mind that sent her pain whenever she didn't do the right things. There were three of them, three demon-human-things who cursed her when she was a child. She couldn't let them kill Kyrain and she told him that through her thoughts, she sent him the pain it gave her so he would understand why she had to do it, why she was running from him.

I'm falling for a vampire

There she said it, but she couldn't tell him who. It was too weird.

She was far away and the pain had started going away.

"I hate you, you stupid b*stards! Why did you choose me!" she yelled at the skies and in answer, the rain began. She cursed again. They were laughing at her. The b*tches. She couldn't do anything. She felt her strength come back and she sat down, wishing that something would be good that happened to her.

She wanted Kyrian back with her.

Kyrain shook his head with it still touching the wall. Walking away from it, he felt something coming from Ahsley. What she sent him threw all his senses into over drive...

I'm sorry Kyrain. I'm so sorry. I..don't know how to explain what is going on. I just can stay this. They will kill me if I stay with you. They  will kill me because I've fallen from the lines. Please..don't come after me. They will kill you too.

A growl reverberated through the alley as his eyes glowed in complete outrage when he shifted through the pictures she sent with the words. The growl turned into a loud roar. The roar faded and he started growling again. Walking, he said to himself; "Let me kill them. Those b*st*rds who think they can control a girl's life."

Ashley shook as the rain just kept pouring on her. Nothing hurt her as bad as they did. She could barely walk, she felt like she was bleeding to death but every time she checked there was no blood. Her body pounded with pain as she kept going until she hit the forest. She hissed and ran foreward with what strength she had and found a stream. She stripped off her clothing and dived in, screaming as pain hit her again. Why were they so angry? What else had she done.

Her body was flawless, but was tainted by the tattoo of black angel wings on her back filled with the curse that she had. She had tried to get it removed but the gods had almost killed her. They burned as she cried, something she never did. She couldn't love, she couldn't care, she had to be a killing machine. She didn't care if they killed her, but if they killed her, they would kill Kyrain because she wasn't there. They wouldn't interfere unless she was killed or they killed her.

She gave another sob and felt herself become human as she let herself go again. She had put the only person she loved in immortal danger, and she wouldn't be able to fight it. She only hoped Kyrain didn't care about her to come after her.

Suddenly, Kyrain crossed something that pulled him to the current situation. A scent trail. Breathing in the scent through his nose. It was Ashley's scent. He tilted his head to one side and followed the trail.

[[[ Epic fail! -dies of epic failness- ]]]

Ashley sighed as the pain left her and let her guard down long enough for her to be caught. And that's just what happened.

Arms grabbed her around her body and she gave out a cry of surprise. The vampire chuckled, enjoying her terror, though he had only illusioned it. She wasn't afraid, just surprised. The gods were not happy at all, were they? She struggled a little bit then knew it was no use. She didn't have the strength to fight him. He was going to kill her.

She felt his tongue on her neck as he tasted the skin that was his only barrier in getting to the rich blood beneath. His breath was cold on her neck and she hated it. Like she should have hated Kyrain. But she couldn't and she didn't.

She was in her own world as the vampire slipped his fangs into the thin cover and still was as she felt her body being drained of its life. She knew she was done for. After being dranked from earlier then the pain from the gods, she knew she was dead, and she could feel her body telling the story as well. She only wished for a few moments to see Kyrain..I failed...

I love you...

Kyrain stopped when a thought drifted into his mind. He knew instantly because the thought was not his. He stiffled a growl and bolted forward, following the scent. "I will save thee, Lady Ashley," he growled.

He arrived a short time [ three seconds ] later to see a vampire feeding off his love. Growling in a warning, his eyes started to glow gold and his fangs grew out. He took another step forward, snarling as he sent out a mental 'explosion' towards the other vamp's mind. 

"Let her go. Now," he growled.

Who is that voice coming from? He's so beautiful, a being from heaven. He's so angry though. Why is he angry? Isn't this a place of happiness?

She looked down at the Earth and saw a body of a girl. Who was she? She looks looks like...someone she knows. Ashley jolted in surprise, realizing that girl was her. She knew who the boy was, he was the only boy she'd recognize in a crowd no matter what.

Kyrain..He was going to die though, because she was dead. But then he'd be with her, what a selfish thing to think. She moved towards the Earth again, wanting to know why he had come after her. He didn't care for her, how could he?

She felt her body pulling at her but she didn't want to go back. It was painful and cold down there. She was warm here. But Kyrain was down there, and she loved him. She went down closer to her body and looked at him with a smile on her face. So handsome, so beautiful comepared to herself.  She made her decision.

She flew into her body and was in pain in only seconds. But she couldn't breathe or move, her body was in too much pain but she knew she wasn't going to die yet. She moaned quietly, making a good decision for once in the day. The vampire who had drunk from her turned around in surprise making himself vulnerable.
