Sword Master went to pat Ebony, but realized that would be creepy. Kargark's tail smashed through the wall of the house behind Sword Master, missing by feet. "Run!" Sword Master started to sprint. Kargark spat a fire-ball which exploded on a lamppost.
Bow Wielder could see Olivia he waved to her. Then he saw what was behind her. He started to run towards her, readying his bow. Kargark charged after Olivia, horns down. The dragons had specified she had to be alive but didn't have to be unharmed.

Olivias hair flew out behind her as she sprinted to her destination. Her lungs were on fire and her legs were lead but she carried onwards.

Bow Wielder could tell Gargush would catch Olivia before he reached her. I will only have one shot at this. Still, I killed a dragon with one shot! But it was being attacked by an army... Bow Wielder stopped, aimed and fired. The shot whizzed past Olivia's head and hit Gargush just above the hoof. Gargush tripped and fell.
"Not so fast feline!" Kargark took to the air, smashing the windows of several houses with the gust of wind he created from taking off. He spat another fire-ball, which exploded near Sword Master and blew up a well.

Bow Wielder fell to the ground, holding Olivia. (It occurs to me his is actually still shirtless XD All well, his mask can keep him warm)
Kargark flew over the street, bathing it in a stream of fire much like an airplane doing a strafing run. Sword Master dived through a window into a house, but his boot still caught fire.

Ebony closed her eyes and didn't even try to avoid the fire. I should be burning by now. Damn it what the hell is that hissing?! She opened her eyes and growled slightly as clouds of steam and smoke obscured her vision. Ugh. NOW the damn dragon form decides it wants me to take it! She unfurled her wings and gave a fang revealing grin. "Roar!" She called up to Kargark before leaping into the air.
(Blah! Derp posh.
So yus. Here be Ebby's dragon form. She stands about as high as a your average wild horse. She's still a mammal so she doesn't have scales or anything. The fire didn't burn her to a crisp because the cells she's made up of are basically surrounded by water, which the heat of the fire turned to steam that came out her pores and took the heat with them. On top of that the cells have some magicy thing that protects them from heat for short periods of time.
Hope that ramble gives you an idea of what just happened XD still a work in progress with the fire resistance stuff, but I'll work on it more over time. And pics will be uploaded as soon as I get round to drawing them.)

Ebony stretched and yawned to get an idea of the strength and flexibility of this form. Very lose joints, probably not much of a bite, most muscle strength in the chest and wings, non prehensile tail. Definitely built to move fast. She flicked her tongue over her teeth and craned her neck this way and that. Fur-less hide, sharp teeth, needle non retractable claws.... Quills on the tail, that should be fun.... 'Ang on a minute, is that a pouch? Seems like i'm a marsupial.... She rattled her quills, "yeah, yeah. I'm no peacock, but I have glowy markings and pterosaur-style wings, so I win!" She then shot upwards at a ridiculously high speed. Oh gravity law-bending magic how I love you!

Ebony slowed down and leveled out her flight when she reached cloud level. Limited use of magic apparently.... At least now that I've stopped glowing I can hide in the clouds. She thought as the cold wet fog surrounded her. She opened her mind so she wouldn't lose Kargark's position with the limited visibility. All that steam I made.... I'd best replace that water in case I need to take some more fire. She licked the drops of water that formed on her snout off and opened her mouth to take in more.

Even Kargark's immensely powerful vision couldn't pick up Ebony. The clouds also made it difficult to smell her. He could hear her wing-beats very clearly however. He dived into the cloud, speeding up his flight and quickly closing the distance between him and Ebony. When he was near enough to see her silhouette he shot a fire-ball at her with deadly accuracy.

Ebony folded her wings and dropped from the sky as soon as light flared behind her. The fireball skimmed her back and a trail of steam followed the first few meters of her fall. "That's not good enough!" She called as she opened her wings and zoomed ahead of Kargark.

Kargark roared and flew after her. He was only about ten meters behind her but coudn't catch her. He shot another fire-ball at Ebony.
"Well we should get going anyway, Gargush is getting up." Bow Wielder helped Olivia up. Gargush was now kneeling. He pulled the arrow out and threw it behind him. He roared in anger, but was still too dazed to stand.
