Sarah arrived, then smiled at Tess.  "Ok! Well, here's my Algebra book and my math notebook.  After we finish up, then we can talk about your problems.  Sound like a good plan?"

Shay put on a small smile.  She liked this song.  And she liked Austin.

"Yep." Tess smiled, she sat down. Then told Sarah to sit next to her. "Alright, so what problems do you need help with?" She started to look through her work, looking for mistakes.

"Ah. Okay, well if you look at this problem. There is always an easy way around, or a cheat to skip out on a step for math. So it's not as confusing, so here in this problem...subtract this from 100, this multiply it by this number, and you get....X=?" Tess tried explaining it to her.

"X=9, right?" Sarah said as she wrote it down.  "Did I do it ok?"

"Perfect." Tess smiled, "The other problems are all the same. Just like the one you just did, understand it better?"

"Okay. Hmmm." Tess decided where to start, while walking over to the couch, and sat next to Sarah, she faced her. "Alright, well it all happened a few days ago, I had invited Shay over for dinner at my house at 4:00, but that same day before 4:00, I was with Dylan at my house, and it was pretty close to 4:00, we were both aware of that, but we were both in a romantic mood. First, it started out as just little hugs, then little kisses, then kisses, then one or two french kisses! We both knew we were too young, but were caught up in the moment, and then--Shay walked in! She started yelling about getting pregnant, which by the way, we weren't touching 'that way'. So I tried apologizing to her, calling her, texting her, nothing."

"Well, her phone could be off.  Maybe she's... you know, out.  As in outside.  Maybe Austin and her went on a date.  Also, she might have been jealous.  Or, maybe she just likes you so much as a friend that she wants to protect you.  I mean, you haven't known Dylan for long.  No wonder she'd be skeptical of him.  I really think she just cares about you too much not to make a big fit about it.  But I know Shay a bit - she may or may not hold a grudge.  But it'll be alright in the end - I know that part for sure." Sarah said. She smiled.

Tess looked at her, hopefully. "You really think so? I mean, she was REALLY angry. I agree with you... She could just be trying to protect me, but I mean I wish we would make up soon. it's been terrible! I will always forgive her. I just don't know how to describe my feelings right now. I'm sad, and sorry, and and, just all these emothions!" Tess explained, she could feel her face getting hotter, she wouldn't let the tears out, she just refused to.

"Well, that is true. I'm gonna call her." Tess grabbed her phone, and tried calling Shay. Pick up, pick up!

"Well, that was some concert? You like?" Austin said when the concert was over, and everone started flowing out of all the exits.

"Yeah. It was awesome." Shay said meaningfully.  She looked up at a clock on the wall - oh gosh!  "It's 11:00!  I have to get home.  At this rate, it'll be a haul to get myself out of bed tomorrow morning for school."  She looked up at Austin.  "Um, I'm going to need you to drive me home.. Cuz... you know.. My car is sort of at home.  And you're the only person available.  So please?"  Shay knew she didn't have to ask, but she still did.  For conversation.  Digging in her pocket, she turned on her phone.  She realized someone was calling her.  Who?  "Wait, I've got a call.. One sec." Shay said when she and Austin were out the doors.  It was Tess.  Sighing, she picked it up anyways.  "What do you want?" she said angrily.

"Ok, then." Sarah said.
