"No! You pay for your tux." Shay said.  She checked out and paid everything. "There. It's done for now.  Let's go to the tux store." She whisked off towards the other store.  "Keep up!" she called behind her shoulder, smiling.

"I was planning for white." Sarah said softly.  She smiled.  "Buy your tux and we can go to the dress store."

"Hmmmm." Dylan said, looking through all the racks. "How 'bout this one?" he asked, pulling out a tux.

"My tux won't cost that much--" He felt bad about not paying, but followed her to the tux store. When they got there he decided he just wanted a black and white tux. But, what tie? It had to match Shay's dress. He walked over to a tie, and held it up to Shay's dress, no. Way off, he looked at another perfect(the one I described on page 5)"Think ths is a good one?"

"Perfect!" Justin said, he went up to the counter, and bought his tux. He started off to the dress store.

Tess held up her dress to it, to make sure it matched, the tux was dark blue, he dress had some dark blue. She had dark blue shoes too, and a dark blue handbag. She decided it would look good, it would make her dark blue on her dress pop, and make the light blue more vibrant, her accessories too. "Looks good, wanna try it on?"

"It's great." Shay said.  "Pay, and then let's go!"

"Sure," Dylan said.  He came back wearing it a minute later.  "Look good?"

Sarah followed behind her enthusiastic friend.  Once she got to the dress store, she looked through all the racks. So many..! She picked one out and tried it on(the one I showed earlier).  "Nice?" she asked Justin.

Austin went up to the counter, and paid for the tux. Then walked out of the mall with Shay.

"It looks totally sweet!" Tess said, excited.

"Really...it is. Go on, try it on! It matches my tux and everything!"Justin said.

((Can we do a time skip to next day...right before prom, where guys pick up girls?))

-*TIME SKIP*-

Shay waited at her house for Austin to pick her up.  He would be coming soon.

Dylan had arranged to meet Tess at the dance.  He soon arrived at the school, where it was being held.

Sarah had also arranged to meet Justin at the dance.  She was already there and waiting.

Ry was sitting by the side of the building, waiting for his stupid "date", Hilary. 

Austin didn't want to be late again, so he got into his car, made sure he had his floral wristlet for Shay. He drove over to Shay's house, when he got there, he got out, and rang her doorbell. The whole way there he was thinking of something smooth to say to Shay.

Tess jumped in her car and drove to the dance, when she got there she took out the flower thing she was supposed to pin to his tux. Where was he? She spotted him, checked her hair, and makeup, and ran over to him. "Hey!"

Justin hopped in his car, grabbed his floral wristlet, and headed to the dance, he hopped out of his car. He spotted Sarah immedietly, she looked like an angel from above. She had on the beautiful white dress on, he had purposely grabbed a white flower, he rushed over to her. "Why hello there, Darling." He said in totally cheesy, but funny british accent. He slipped the wristlet on her hand.

Hilary was running late, she forgot the dance was today, but hurried into her dress. She drove to the school, searching for Ry. Would he show up?

Shay saw Austin.  "Hi." she said, smiling.  "Let's get going. We don't want to be late!"  She tucked the flower to pin onto his tux behind her back.

"Hey!" Dylan said.  He held the floral wristlet in his hands.  "Madame." he said, bowing.  Dylan slipped the wristlet onto Tess' wrist.

"Hello, there, Gov'ner," Sarah said in an equally cheesy British accent.  She pinned the flower on his tux and smiled.  "Now you look like an official gov'ner, Gov'ner," she said in the accent.  Sarah giggled at her own voice and cheesiness.

Ry didn't bring anything for Hilary.  She was stupid.  She didn't need anything.

"You look amazing! But, your right, let's get going." Austin said to Shay.

"What's up? Sir, shall we head into the dance?" Tess said, after pinning her flower to his tux.

Justin laughed with Sarah, her laugh was almost intoxicating. It made him feel safe, cozy, and everythings just fine, if the world ended right now, he'd be fine.

Hilary decided not to bring a flower because she was sure Ry wouldn't either.

"Yeah. Come on, slowpoke!" Shay teased, hopping into Austin's car.

"Of course, m'lady." Dylan said, and locked his arm with Tess's.  He started to walk in with her. "So, what first?  Snacks?"

Sarah smiled, and led Justin inside with her.

Ry still waited on the side of the building.  For his stupid person-"date"-monster-buttface-ugly-"girl", Hilary.  He stuck out his tongue at the thought of her.

Austin hopped into the drivers seat, after opening the car door for Shay. He put the key into ignition, and backed out. He drove to the dance, he kept wanting to put his arm around her, but hesitated, not sure of her reaction, remembering when he hugged her.

Tess interlocked her arm with Dylan's. She walked into the dance with Dylan. When they got in there she was immedietly amazed, the decorations looked fabulous, she heard the DJ say something, "Next song, we're gonna slow it down for all you couples comin' in!"

Justin trailed behing Sarah. He felt enhanced with her touch.

Hilary saw Ry, she rushed over, "Ry! Ry! Ry! Ry!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.

"SHUT THE *beep* UP!" Ry shouted at Hilary.  "Get inside and all that crap.  Have punch.  Do whatever.  Just leave me out of it."  Ry stalked off inside and sat in one of the dark corners of the dance, and he was to stay there for the remainder of time.

[*beep*= H-E-double-hockey-sticks]

"Come on.  Let's dance." Shay said to Austin as soon as they got inside.

"Dance...?" Sarah asked shyly to Justin.

Dylan led Tess to the dance floor.  The slow song was playing already.  He got in the position, his arm wrapped around her hips, his hand in hers.  Dylan swayed to the music with Tess.  He slightly blushed at the thought.

"Okay, okay." Hilary got some punch and went to go sit by Ry. She wouldn't be seen alone. They went to the dance together, they'll stick together.

"Okay." Austin heard that is was a slow song, and positioned his hands around her waist, and held her close. He moved his feet to the music.

"Cool." Justin said, hiding his excitement, that they were about to hold hands, and dance together. He positioned his hands how he saw Austin do, his guy friend. He had much more experience with girls, rather than himself.

Tess was excited, prom was finnally here, and she was with a guys she had been totally crushing on. But she began to wonder, did he really come to the dance just because it was girls choice, or because he liked her too? She swayed with him, she buried her head into his chest, it was warm, and it seemed like he had a 6-pack.

Jake walked into the dance, he had just out on a tux from last year. He found Shay, and noticed her dancing with Austin, He would change that.

"Get the *beep* away from me!" Ry said to Hilary in a furious tone.

Shay took a deep breath and swayed with Austin.  Maybe it was safe to stay with him... But a thought in the back of her mind lingered.  So soon?  This 'young love' can't last forever, Shay! It seemed to shout.  He might not be your man! And, anyways, there's plenty more fish in the sea! Some more, possibly hotter fish! Shay partially could ignore it. Blocking it off, she enjoyed the moment.

Dylan liked feeling Tess's warm breath on him.  Her body was so small and delicate.  And beautiful.  Ah, love.

Sarah was caught off guard for a moment when Justin put her hands on her, but she relaxed and let her body not be so tense.  She came to partially enjoy it.

"Okay, geesh!" Hilary scooted over to the table next to the one Ry was sitting in.

Austin rested his head on Shay's, her body was so nicely formed, she was quite hot, and to think she liked him was amazing. She also was funny, and had a great personality, which is all the things on a list of hot girl traits.

Tess snuggled deeper into Dylan, he made her feel safe. She didn't want this moment to end. But, soon the song would be over. She had been to that many dances before, and felt sort of embarr*censored*ed, but as the night went on she got more used to the fact, and Dylan kept making her laugh.

Justin twirled Sarah under his arms, and rested her across from him, he cought her eyes, there was a moment where he was tense, should he? It was too late to back out now, he leaned into Sarah, and kissed her gently on the lips.

Jake grabbed a cup of punch and headed over near Shay, he kept an eye on her, making sure she didn't make too much contact with, Austin.

Shay smiled and lightly kissed Austin on the cheek.  If he wouldn't make a move, she would.

Dylan smiled and kissed Tess lightly on the lips, but pulled back a split second later.  He blushed.

Ry scowled at Hilary and stayed sitting in his corner.

Austin blushed, this meant for sure she liked him. He held her closer and lightly kissed her cheek back.

Justin drew back, seeing Sarah's reaction. "I'm so sorry! I just I didn't--" Justin blushed and went over to the punch table.

Tess was surprised, that answered her question. She didn't know what to do. "Dylan, Erm--I have a question. I've asked you before, you said, we'll see at the dance, so um, will you be my boyfriend?" Tess drew back, and blushed.

Hilary wondered if she should leave, ditch the dance, she thought she could turn on her Hilary charm, and Ry would like her. But, not anymore. Neither of them are having fun, might as well leave.

Jake noticed the love fest going on between Shay and Austin, he could'nt let this happen, he dropped his punch gl*censored*, and strode over, "hey, hot thaaang!" He bumped Austin out of the way, and held out his hand to Shay, in a way saying, 'wanna dance?'.

Austin was bumped away by this punk, who does he think he is? Stealin' my girl. Austin got to his boiling point, which was never good, "WHO THE *beep* DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" Austin yelled at the weird guy (Jake).

"This lady's guy! That's who!" Jake responded.

"Uhm.... sure." Dylan said, with certainty on the 'sure'.  He blushed and smiled.

Sarah sighed.  She walked over to the punch table.  "It's fine.  I was just.. surprised.  That was actually... my first kiss.." she said shyly.

"Ohhh gosh." Shay whispered quietly to herself.  Two boys.. fighting.. over her?

... Cool.  She watched the fight. It was sort of.. interesting to see people fight over her. Yeah, it had been in movies, but now it was in real life. And involving her! Awesome!  She scooted backwards a bit to get out of the two boys' ways, and watched everything unfold.  A fast song was already playing by now.  But who would she pick..? I mean, if it came to that point...

Tess smiled, Yes! She thought to herself. She got back into Dylan's arms, and snuggled in, right when the DJ said, "Alright, all you men out there had a chance to dance with your honey, now let's kick it up a notch!" Tess sighed, she didn't want to leave Dylan's arms.

"Oh, well me too. See, Austin has been nagging me about how I haven't had my first kiss, well I wanted to, with the perfect girl, and now, i've found her. Would you like to be my girlfriend, Sarah?"Justin said, blushing the whole time.

"Shay, please tell this guy that your here with me, and not him, and your having a good time with ME!" Austin said sweetly to Shay.

"Are you kidding me punk? You know she'll say she loves me more, I mean, I'm the hotter one!" Jake taunted back at Austin.

"Your kidding right? Does Shay even know who you are? We've been friends for a while, now we're more than that, we have history!" Austin slashed right back at Jake.

"Maybe she wants something new now!"

Austin rolled his eyes.

Austin and Jake both say in unison, "Shay!"
