I'm really itching for a long-standing romance 1x1. It will just be normal humans, in their teens. <3 I want to take everything slow like it's supposed to be. Looking for someone literate, or someone I roleplay on a typical basis. c: ---blame my listening to various love songs---

Since it's going to be normal teenagers and such, maybe the plot could center around a Drama club and Theater class? :3 Transfer student would make a nice starter. ~

/nodnod. Sounds good. In that case, could I be the girl? I have a more theatrical character that I was planning to use in a Phantom of the Opera roleplay, but I ended up being a guy, and I'm still itching to try her out. ^^;

Name: Almeria O'Connel [Ally]
Gender: Female
Age: 16, almost 17?
Personality: Ally, for the most part, is a pretty average girl. She has friends, but she isn't one of the "popular" girls. She has her crushes, fights, and the occassional breakdown. Her loves include history and the theatre, as well as reading and sketching--she's a very artsy type of person. Almeria is friendly, but not overly outgoing, and while she's kind, she won't go too far out of her way to help someone out unless she really cares about them. She can be a bit of a know-it-all at times, and will randomly blurt out facts, as well as make random references to the many previous places that she's lived.
Background: Her parents are history professors for the local university. She's traveled the world, and lived in several places in Europe: Sweden, France, and Switzerland to name a few. Her parents finally settled down where she is now, when Ally was fourteen. She still enjoys traveling, and is multilingual, but is glad to finally have a permanent home.
Looks: Ally is the type of girl who isn't very striking, but if you get to know her, you'll realize that she's pretty in a subtle way. Her hair is long and brown, with rivulets of waves without being corkscrew-curly. Her eyes are a muted sort of green, borderline hazel, with flecks and streaks of brown in them. She's about 5' 5", slightly curvy, and still clumsy. Ally has a fairly warm complexion with a smattering of freckles over her cheeks and along the bridge of he nose.
Other: She has an Eclectus parrot by the name of Cassie, to whom she talks to when she's upset.

on my iPod so bear with me. D: Name: Alexander Montgomery (Alex or Xander <3) Age: 17 :3 Gender: Male Looks: Alex isn't some super gorgeous guy who turns heads; he's more the person who gets looked at as puppy-dog cute with his soft brown eyes and small smile. Standing at a height of 5'6", Alex keeps his muscles toned by going to the gym thrice a week. (I'll post his real bio tomorrow xD) Personality: Alex is a pretty easy-going guy that hasn't every really fit in with one clique or group. He's more of a free-lancer and doesn't like people telling him what to do or who to be. Though he can be charming and sweet, he's also known to be sarcastic and quite the flirt. History: His father is a military man so Alex has been moved all around the US, a few times out of the country, but those times never lasted long. He's lived in a fairly calm household all his life with a caring mother and equally caring dad, when he sees him. Should we start with them heading to theater? :3

Ooc// If you'd like to, by all means control the theatre teacher. ^^ Sorry this is such a bad intro. D: /shot.
Bic// Ally hurried out of history class with a wide smile plastered on her face. She could help it--finally, it was time for theatre practice. It had only been a day, and her whole body seemed to ache for the blackness of back stage, the bright spotlights, the smell of paint as they broke out the paint brushes for a new scene. She missed the croons of actors auditioning for lines, the shrieks of surprise as they got the parts they wanted. She didn't feel much for those who didn't--what could be done? But people stuck in the parts they didn't want...well, she could empathize with that crowd. Ally had been there enough herself. She slipped along the hallway with this thought, the crowd of her classmates not more than an obstacle between her and her goal. A few people muttered angrily under their breath as she shoved past them, shedding her polite overcoat to reveal her eagerness to get into the school auditorium. When she finally reached the dull tan doors, she shoved them open with an unparallelled eagerness. The theatre was one place where Almeria Victoria O'Connell could really be herself...as well as several other people. She loved the constumes, the scenes, the s and the plays themselves. She loved being with her friends, sliding into the role of someone who was so fundamentally different than she was...even the drama appealed to her--it was all part of this magical place that was her second home. She burst through the doors and slipped through the aisles of seats to backstage, where the troupe was already assembling. "I'm here," she announced, and then settled onto the floor in a semicircle of other students. Finally.

Ooc; It wasn't fail. :c Bic; "Here's your schedule," the stout, gruffy counselor said as he handed Alexander a green slip of paper. It was freshly printed off and Alex glanced down at it, feeling slightly miserable at the prospect of being the new kid again. He blinked and glanced up when the counselor clasped his shoulder, and Alex smiled back at the man. Though, his smile dropped when he stepped outside the counselor's office. A bell rang and kids flooded through the hallways, some chattering loudly to their friends, others walking with music blasting from earphones that lay rested on the hollow of their necks. Alex glanced down at his schedule and looked down at the last class; Theatre Arts / Porter, Jason / Auditorium. He'd taken some theater classes at his old school, so the idea of acting sparked a bit of curiousity in him. The only problem was finding the auditorium, though at a school as large as this, he found himself sighing and wandering the halls. The warning bell came and Alex bit his lip, pulling his brisk walk through the halls into a jog. He found himself at the end of the hallway and pushed open the door; harsh sunlight hit his eyes and he blinked a few times to rid himself of sun spots. Auditorium. He sighed in relief and sprinted toward the double doors that led into the large building. He ended up running through the doors louder than intended and a few heads swiveled toward him from the direction. He scratched the back of his neck as the teacher eyed him with brows arched. "Got lost," he mumbled as he approached. "Ah. You're the new kid. Everyone, this is Alexander Montgomery. He'll be joining our team for our upcoming play," he said to the class that had settled on the floor and among the front row seats of the auditorium. Alex realized that everyone in the class was already close, already had become like a family. He felt even more of an outsider, but gave the group a confident grin. Mr. Porter turned to Alex with half a frown. "I'm afraid there aren't anymore parts left in the play we're doing, but you're welcome to be part of the stage crew." Alex nodded to Mr. Porter. "I took drama tech the last few years so I know what's going on," he said. "Sit down," Mr. Porter said, obviously ending the introduction. Alex followed instruction, choosing to sit down in one of the front row seats, not wanting to approach the cluster of girls that sat on the floor; not yet, anyway. He settled into his seat and watched Mr. Porter talk to the class about a rehearsal tomorrow. "Practice your lines in small groups. Pair up with one or two other people. I want five of you working on building the set. You know what to do. Alex, join that group. Find someone to show you the ropes," Mr. Porter said before exiting the auditorium, probably going to his office in the back. The kids practically jumped up to find partners and Alex sat back in his seat to watch, feeling lost. With a sigh, he stood up, and hopped up onto the stage. He didn't even know what play they were doing. Ooc; Any particular play you'd like to do? o_o

Ooc// Maybe, erm...Romeo and Juliet? It might be fun if Alex and Ally got cast as understudies, and then the two leads got sick and they had to fill in for the performance. /shot. Hm...I'm not sure what to post. Maybe they can get seperated into the same group for set-building, and meet? :3
