Valkyrie dashed to Raavol, slashing a leaping Rat in half. Raavol fired full auto into the Rats, slaying dozens of them. Valkyrie grabbed Raavol's arm and fired a smoke grenade at the ground. Suddenly, orange energy rippled across Raavol's armor and orange lightning fired silently at the ground from anywhere outside his center of gravity. (his arms, gun etc) An orange portal with various other color splotches appeared at Raavol's feet and the three got pulled in. They appeared exactly where they had just been, but the square was abandoned.

The approached the building. Only now did they notice that the whole above-ground section of the building was on a dangerous lean due to the north-west wall missing almost entirely. There was a big chunk of footpath missing by the building as well. "Well at least we know what that explosion was." Valkyrie commented.
