Valkyrie casually stepped backwards, avoiding the bow. He twirled his Krassl sword around with his fingers, taking a second to look Goblinsong up and down. "Sorry, I'm out of your league-and I don't just mean in dating terms." Dredge stood up and dusted himself off. He took out a walky-talky that had clearly come from a children's toy. "Begin the assault, leave the hooded one alive, there has been a change in plans."
"What about the Seenoke?" A Rat hissed in reply. "She is an ally...preferably intact, but if she becomes a distraction..." Dredge didn't need to finish the sentence.

Valkyrie flicked his wrist and a Krassl knife dropped into his hand. He threw it and it flew past her head and stuck into the door frame. Rats thundered towards the building from the surrounding alleyways and manholes, screeching war cries. The number was barely a third of the original armada that had attacked last time, but still numbered hundreds of thousands.
