The Rats launched themselves at Valkyrie, slashing and biting at Valkyrie. Valkyrie slashed and spun as he maneuvered through the Rats.

Valkyrie reached the wall and stabbed one of his crystal blades into one of the gaps in the wall's brickwork, growling something in Skyyron. He kicked out at a Rat and slashed through two others before pulling himself up with the sword and stabbing the other sword into the wall. he began to climb the side of the building flinging a Rat off his boot.

Three Rats dog-piled onto Ebony. Valkyrie looked down through at the sea of Rats and remaining wisps of fog for Ebony. He saw the Rats dog-pile her and grumbled, deciding whether to risk saving her or not.

Several shots were fired by Dredge's firing squad at Raavol. He was hit twice and the explosion cracked his shoulder-plate, but it quickly began to repair itself. Valkyrie slashed and spun, but as more and more Rats swarmed him, some with shards of glass or sharp rocks, he began to get overwhelmed. Several rats followed Ebony up the pipe. On the other side of the building Rats surged in through the Raavol-shaped hole in the wall, having managed to move the bin.

The Rat was hit to the side and so just missed grabbing Ebony, falling down to it's doom. The other Rats continued to chase Ebony up the pipe. Valkyrie knew he was too out numbered to try to climb again, so instead tried to twirl his way around to Raavol's hole and get to safety that way.
