Goblinsong curled her lip and shot an arrow into the chest of a rat that had dropped a can onto her. "ENOUGH, FILTH!" Bill, Expen and Dee crept slowly up to a shattered window. Bill, who was the smallest and therefore the hardest to notice, peered over the edge of the windowsill and quickly noted the position of the rats inside before ducking down again.
Ebony raised her chin and sprang onto Valkyrie's shoulder. "That's not how you treat someone you're using as a perch."

The Rats shrieked and scattered. A group of Rats on 'patrol' picked up semi-familiar scents. After some looking they discovered a trash can they had previously tipped was now in another spot, and realized something was going on. They attempted to find a trail or more changes, but couldn't find anything, so went to go tell some other Rats even though that would have little effect.
"Using someone as a perch is bad in itself." Valkyrie said, frowning at Ebony.

Ebony frowned. "Hush. At least I'm better than Cal."
Goblinsong snorted. "Damn right." Bill, Expen and Dee began to quietly discuss their plan of action.

"That does not mean I will accept you using me as a perch." Valkyrie leaned suddenly to get Ebony to fall off.
By now many of the rat groups were actively searching for the group, although they were nowhere the actual building so had a minimal chance of finding the group.

Valkyrie grabbed Ebony, held her out and dropped her. "Now, can we please start planning this assault?!" He said, speaking loudly and firmly.

Valkyrie ignored her.
Dredge's breathing device hissed as he took each breath, his fingers tapping away on one of the touch panels. He quickly spun around to another panel, a lovely organ tune he had found on the organ playing in his head. He tapped away, altering the anti-gravity boosters' output and doing the final checks to ensure the Gas Skull would be ready to fire or flee. He looked around him for a second, taking in the crumbling city and the odd group of rats scuttling around. "To think, I was once one of the greatest minds in the galaxy, creating machines to influence entire systems and solve grand problems, and now I am reduced to this, terrorist threats in a city of monsters. Still, at least with the Skyyron here I have some beings of intellect to talk to-although, as I said, they are Skyyron...well, beggars cannot be choosers!" He hit the panel and the machine made a huge whirring noise that could be heard from blocks and the glowing paths and screens lit up with immense brightness.

Ebony mewed again, lifting her fore-paws and clasping them together in front of her.
Goblinsong's ears pricked up at the faint sound of claws clicking against concrete. "Rats, check around that corner." She ordered quietly.

Valkyrie continued to ignore her, discussing a full on assault vs stealth with Raavol.
Some of the Rats had heard it too and ran over to the corner and were about to peak around. Another large group of Rats yelled down from the roof of a building across the street. "We thinks there are prowlers, one of the groups picked ups a smell! Many Rats already looking, but not found anysome yet!"

Expen and Bill held their breath at the sound of approaching rats. Goblinsong nocked an arrow.
Silence means yes. Ebony though, and sprang onto Valkyrie's shoulder.

The Rats all started to yell at each other, trying to tell each other to go and look so they didn't have to. The Rat group went around the corner, but were paying attention to the Rats on the roof so didn't notice the bounty hunters for a minute or so.
Valkyrie caught Ebony in mid-air and put her down again. "No." He said, patting her on the head and resuming his tactical discussion.

"Pleee-eease!" Ebony mewed.
Expen and Bill held their breath and hoped the rat's wouldn't notice them.

"No." Valkyrie repeated.
One of the rats sniffed the air and slowly turned it's head towards them. It shrieked and attacked. It's brethren looked around, saw the intruders and attacked too. Suddenly the rats around the building were in attack mode, surging towards the sound of the cries. Many of the Rats stayed back at the bank, knowing that they could defend Dredge and get more praise. Several rat groups dashed up to rooftops, some to get to relative safety and some to leap down upon the creatures. Dredge looked out at the Rats movement. He growled slowly. "I do hope those Rats do not kill the visitors, they may be offering assistance. The bounty hunter should have remembered though and will hopefully contain the Rats, if not I could hang up the heads as trophies! Ha ha ha!"

Expen and Bill drew their weapons and fought back.
Ebony mewed again and began to purr sadly. Crawford looked at Ebony in disbelief. What?!

The rat were killed, unable to beat their larger and more skilled opponents. But the Rats had numbers on their sides and dozens of Rat attacked them from both ends of the alleyway and some Rats even jumped at them from the buildings above. The Rats surged forwards, groups merging into giant hordes as they approached the bounty hunters.
Raavol growled and stomped hairs from Ebony's paw, shaking the whole cave.

Dredge grumbled, seeing the Rats turn from clusters of angry rodents to an army of death. "Perhaps the bounty hunter does not remember my orders? I may have to replace her with one of these ones, although I doubt they will survive long without intervention, be it mine or hers."
Raavol kicked out, flinging Ebony across the cave.

Goblinsong launched a powerful kick against a sheet of half-rusted metal leaning against one of the walls to get the rats attention. "OI! They're to be as undamaged as possible!"
Ebony hit the wall and flopped to the ground with a yowl.

"That was unnecessary Raavol." Valkyrie said, taking a step towards Ebony to see if she was okay.
Most of the Rats didn't pay attention, launching themselves claws first at the bounty hunters.
