Expen and Bill continued to fight, though the rats were beginning to overwhelm them.
Ebony spat out blood, as she had bitten into her tongue on impact with the wall.

Dredge growled and tapped on one of the Gas Skull's control screens. The giant machine began to lift into the air. It's anti-gravity boosters emitted a loud humming sound and the machine's lights grew brighter. The Gas Skull moved upwards, it's rate of elevation increasing as Dredge moved between two of the panels. The Gas Skull moved up and back, getting into the exact position to block the soon-to-set sun.
The Rats screeched and stared at the sun, confused and afraid at this strange occurrence. The Rats not directly in the fight moved to get better positions to see the false-eclipse or hid in large groups in case it was dangerous.

Dredge tapped on the panel and the lights dimmed but the humming grew louder as the Gas Skull shifted slightly. He adjusted his stature and moved around to the front of the machine so he was less of a silhouette and yelled as loud as he could. "Greetings! I apologize for the assault of the Rats, they are not the most disciplined of workers, but if something can be said they are very effective as a group! Why have you come to my humble abode creatures?! perhaps you have come to offer your aid in the apprehension of the vile criminals?!"

"Crawford, I need your assistance, Raavol will teleport you near where the school is and we want you to locate the bank and observe it's defenses with out being seen-can you do that? It is extremely important and would make our job a lot easier." Raavol looked down at Crawford.

With flashes of energy and a portal appearing above them they were transported to a few blocks away from the school. "We are far enough away that we weren't detected, so you best not lose that element of surprise, for I will feel no regrets if you die out here. Find the building, scout it's defenses, don't get spotted." Raavol nudged him off and teleported away.

A group of Rats hissed and screeched at one other-insults and laughter mostly. They threw stones at each other and laughed harder. The Rats scampered around a corner into a wide round about intersection, not noticing Crawford on the other side.

The Rats scampered through the middle of the round about and down an alleyway without noticing him, although one did stop to sniff the air.
