Crawford inhaled slowly before dashing quickly and quietly to the end of a wall and peering around the corner. After confirming that the cost was clear he dashed around the corner and to the next wall. He inspected the cracked street in front of him before turning his attention to the building on the other side. That's the bank, right?

The Gas Skull's humming grew louder as Crawford approached the bank and the signs of Rat activity became almost as common as the air. The sounds of Rats bickering and scurrying, Rat paw prints, Rat blood from infighting, trash and excrement-but also crude barricades and the remains of the odd small creature that the Rats had found.

A Rat climbed on top of a rusted, looted trash can just before Crawford and looked around, the only thing stopping it from seeing Crawford the fact it hadn't yet looked down.

The Rat sniffed and looked around, intrigued by the faint smell. In the constant waft of Rat and the strange metallic smell coming from the machine he couldn't quite identify, but knew it was there. He scurried off to find some other Rats.

The buildings and roads around the bank were covered in groups of Rats, arguing, looking for food, patrolling and doing other Rat activities. On the steps leading up to the bank were small crude barricades, behind which were Rats with the bizarre potato guns that had attacked Raavol earlier. Dredge himself was upon the massive form of the Gas Skull floating ominously above the massive building.

Crawford froze and remained rooted to the spot for a few minutes before reassuring himself that the fact he was nothing more than a small shadow on the ground would keep him safe and unseen. He then began to make a wide circle around the bank, inspecting its security.

Closer to the building their was evidence of a massive concentration of Rats inside the building-mainly thousands of footprints heading up the steps.

A huge Rat followed by at least two dozen other Rats scurried along in front of the bank. The first few Rats ran straight past Crawford, but then the Rats started running over him.

The Rats scurried past, the Rat that had smelt Crawford before directing them to where it had caught his scent. More groups of Rats ran that way, interested in all the activity.
