"I-it was black with a purple eye and spikes. It was something around the size of a big dog." Crawford said. "And it growled."

"I can find no records of a drone matching that deion." Raavol said. "Searching categorically...no match in hovering battle drone section...no match in Archipeliapian hover drone section..." "Give it a rest Raavol, the drone was likely custom built." Valkyrie said, rubbing his cheeks.

"Th-that's bad, r-right?" Crawford asked. Ebony shifted into her feline form and sprang onto Valkyrie's shoulder. "When do we leave?"

"Bad, considering it means we have no idea what it can do, how fast or easily he can make them, or even at all in this environment-no offence." Valkyrie said. "If you could provide some more details I might be able to analyze certain components and allow a better understanding of what we are up against." Raavol growled down at him. "This has completely thrown off my interpretation of Dredge. I believed he was a deranged, all be it talented, criminal that was trapped here and forced to ally himself with Rat creatures a rudimentary technology to survive. Now it is clear that Dredge is in fact far deadlier and smarter than we predicted and has forged his own little empire, protected and run by an army of millions of henchman, advanced technology and a thorough understanding of what he is up against and how he can manipulate it." Valkyrie said.

"Elaborate half-form." Raavol growled down at Ebony.

"Fire and war is my entire life Ebony, but we practice it as an art form, as a talent that can bring great benefit and honor to a Skyyron, not the brutal slaughtering of the human race. If we are going to use fire and war, we are going to do it my way." Valkyrie said. He began adjusting his armor and tapping on his vambrace-screens. He then raised his sword and Raavol knelt before him. "Gather your equipment, your faith and your soul; arm your body, your mind and your spirit; clean your technology, pray to your gods, and ready yourself if you die." He lowered his sword and Raavol stood up. "If everybody has everything they need, you can pull the trigger Ebony."

Valkyrie grabbed Ebony by the scruff of her neck and lifted her up with only two fingers, clearly irritated. "Shut down the rats, feline."

The Rats minuscule psychic awareness detected a hint of...something and they all stood more upright and slowed down in whatever task they were doing. With the hundreds of thousands of Rats all simultaneously acting in such a manner, Dredge immediately noticed, looking down from atop his doomsday device to see what was happening. He turned around to find one of his drones hovering there, it's sinister bestial growling drowning out the humming of the Gas Skull. "Major psychic presence detected! Building psychic energy over eastern quadrant!" The drone growled in an almost incomprehensible growl. Dredge clenched his fists, irritated. "Alert all other drones, try and triangulate the position of the psyker as soon as possible and destroy it!" The drone's bestial noises amplified dramatically in volume as it began communicating with the others of it's kind. He began tapping on the control screens on the Gas Skull, turning on security cameras and traffic cameras not in operation for decades. He leaned over the side and yelled down to the bounty hunters. "Prepare yourselves! I believe the inevitable assault is upon us, and it most certainly appears like it is going to be rather potent!" He lowered the Gas Skull so it was only a couple of meters off the roof of the bank.

Ebony dug mental hooks into the minds of the rats and yanked them from their bodies, immediately feeling the toll it took on her energy.

" Psychic energy build up reaching enormous levels!" The drone growled. Dredge adjusted his hat and collar. He threw his staff into the air and caught it. "Point to the Skyyron." "Psyker location triangulated! Psyker and several other heavily armed life forms held up within cave system adjacent to sewer network in north-eastern quadrant!" (This is from the bank, I don't know where Crawford's cave is in the city) "Attempt assault now! Eliminate the psyker and any other life forms, treat anything organic as hostile, I repeat, anything organic as hostile!" Dredge said. Suddenly all of the Rats dropped. Some simply dropped to the floor, but most screamed and pulled at their heads first as their weak willpower attempted to hold on but was overpowered. A few didn't quite get pulled out, simply staggering around dazed.
From inside the cave Raavol noticed there was movement outside on his motion tracker. "Sir, I am detecting non-organic movement in our area, moving rapidly through the sewers in our direction." Raavol took out his gun and aimed it at the wall, ducking into a combat posture. Valkyrie gently placed the tired Ebony behind some rocks and took up a defensive position, pointing the built-in side arm in his vambrace at the wall too.
Four drones, similar to the drone Crawford had seen but with different spike arrangements and with slightly different guns, hovered at the wall separating Crawford's cave and the sewer tunnel. The drones growl became enormously high pitched and loud. Their guns aimed and they all opened fire, huge purple bolts blowing a hole the size of a train in the wall, sending a shockwave through the sewer tunnels big enough to collapse an old section of the subway a mile away.
