Raavol took out his gun and pointed it at the bird. "Care to repeat that threat?" He growled. (How big and/or dangerous is the bird? Because Raavol is 11 foot tall, super strong and well armored and holding a huge gun)

(He's about the size of a white-faced heron but with a sturdier build and shorter legs with talons. His beak has sharp hooked barbs that act like teeth. Then of course the crest. He can do a fair bit of damage but he's really not a threat to anything larger than a cat unless he has a clear beak-through-eye-into-brain shot.)
The bird twittered quietly, banked and landed beside Ebony. "Gun!? You know anything with human-tech or similar KOS!"

How complex the society is all depends on the species you're looking at. They're deadly enough without weapons and armour, but it's patrolling so we have to deal with that too, plus it'll be trained." Ebony said. "Feather brain?
