Name: Erea Kaie
Age: Twenty-five
Gender: Female

Personality: Erea is a complicated girl. At times, she is not one to be trifled with as she knows the human body inside and out so she can be quite deadly in a close-quartered fight. Though, most of the time, she is a somewhat docile, sweet, and innocent female, often getting confused by certain things around her. Even though she is rather reserved by nature, she is extremely smart. And she can show her true feelings about certain matters that come to hand.
Appearance: Erea has light gray eyes, looking white in certain lights and giving her an almost blind look when she isn't. Her hairs falls just past her shoulders and is black-blue in colour, contrasting the stark difference between her hair and the porcelain white of her skin. She is rather short, standing at five foot six, but her muscles are all honed into sleek power from years of practice with her mother before she died. Erea has a total of four tattoos; a tribal bird across the small of her back, a Celtic knot standing for protecting on the nape of her neck, and a bar-code tattoo on the skin behind her ears. As for her clothes, she tends to wear blacks, reds, grays, and a whole lot of leather. She also likes combat boots, fishnet shirts, black eyeliner and nail polish, and punk-goth necklaces.

History: Her mother was an Irish ex-police officer and her father was a Scottish ex-hacker by the name of Lone Wolf. Her mother taught Erea what she needed to know about street fighting and how to defend herself. Her father taught her the ways of hacking and engineering until she was rather advanced in both. Both her parents were killed by a drive-by shooting and now lay six feet under. Now, she is a hacker by the name of Ghost -- since nobody can get through her defenses and firewalls, and since she can hack into things without being noticed until days later -- and she works as a mechanic in a local garage.

Other: Erea is half Irish and half Scottish, and due to her heritage, she can't get drunk. She can speak the Celtic and Gaelic languages. Depending on the mood she is in, her accent will change from Irish to Scottish, or vise versa, or a mixture of both. Erea has also build an AI that looks like the extinct Haast Eagle. His name is Phantom and he helps her whenever she hacks into a mainframe/server.

Name: Yuuta
Age: unknown, compared to a human's lifespan he would be in his early twenties.
Gender: Male

Personality: Yuuta was a wise kitsune with much power. However, when he lost his memories he reverted back to something like a child. He doesn't know anything but his name and everything is new and exciting. He is unable to talk for he is unfamiliar with the human language. He is very vulnerable and child-like and soaks up information like a sponge. Even though he is confused, he isn't bothered by not knowing who he is.

Appearance: Yuuta has soft blonde hair and light blue eyes that seem to sparkle with innocence. His build is rather small with some arm and leg muscles. He is slim and quite short for a boy of his appeared age with pure white skin that seems to have never touched the sun's rays, the cause being his form was just created.
His body looked young but there was an aura of wisdom surrounding him, hidden under his innocent self. It was if he knew more than what he was telling, or every word uttered had a deeper meaning.

History: His nine-tails marked his immense power, causing many spirits to hunt him for hope they would add his power to their own. With no other way to escape, he trapped himself inside a human form and became one of them. Yuuta used all of his energy and power creating a new form and it stole his memories to make up for it. The only thing he remembers is his name.

Other: He slowly gains power as his energy returns

When he opened his eyes, Yuuta felt as if he was seeing the world for the first time. Everything was so bright and cheerful. The wind was blowing softly against the trees, rustling the leaves to make a beautiful song. The flowers were in full bloom and gave a wonderful fragrance that filled the air. The sky was clear and the sun beamed down happily, sharing its warmth with the world.Yuuta closed his eyes and took a deep breath, grinning without any particular reason.

The boy sat up slowly and looked around with bright blue eyes full of wonder at the mysterious world he found himself. He stumbled to his knees and pressed his hands to the ground, feeling the grass between his fingers and the dirt that lay beneath. He pushed down with his hands and steadied his feet in an attempt to stand. His legs wobbled like a newborn animal and he fell to the ground. His eyebrows furrowed and he tried again, but he failed like the first time. He began to get agitated as he tried for the third time to stand. This time he managed to keep his balance, but as soon as he took his first step he fell down.

His eyes began to tear up and he felt the first tear drop roll down his cheek. Surprised, he lifted his hand to dab his cheek and stared at the wet drop that appeared on his hand. He couldn't fathom why his eyes were leaking water, but his attention was quickly averted when he saw a butterfly landing on a nearby flower. His smile quickly returned as he stared at its beautiful colors and the graceful way it would float to each flower.

He tried catching the butterfly, but it flew away, far out of his reach. Yuuta became sad when the butterfly left but his attention was stolen away by the sound of other beings walking around. The people were rushing around, trying to get to their destination, not even bothering to look at anything else. They wore strange things on their bodies that were alien to Yuuta and he wondered silently why he was lacking what they had. They boy was covered by a cloth but he was unsure where it came from. He had a strange feeling that he needed to keep it so he wrapped it around himself the best he could and tried to stand again.

And she was late.

Erea was never late. She hated being late. Hopefully her boss didn't dock her pay for being tardy.

She strode down the sidewalk like she owned the concrete walkway. Her hands were stuffed in the leather of her pants as her combat boots thudded against the hard surface. Her light gray eyes were glazed over in anger and a frown half-curved her lips. Blue-black hair lay straight down to her shoulders, one lock tucked behind an ear. Far above her, she could sense the presence of Phantom, an AI she constructed a while back. The metal stripes in the bar-codes behind her ears kept track of his presence while they also functioned as a communications device between her and the robot bird.

"Erea, there is a boy in the park you are walking along," came a sudden coo in her ear only she could hear.

Erea's half-frown became full-blown. "And I should care because?" she asked, her accent barely noticeable from the clear English she spoke.

"He has no idea what he's doing."

The woman stopped and sighed, removing one hand to run over her face in an aggravated manor. "I'll go take a look-see. But if I get fired, I'm blaming you, Phantom," she replied as she turned to face the park, gray eyes flickering over what it contained.

"I wouldn't expect anything less, Mistress," came the AI's clever reply.

Yuuta gripped the cloth tightly as he attempted to walk, this time making it a few feet before stumbling again. He kept repeating this process until he made his way to a tree adjacent to where he first woke up.

He placed his hand against the bark and felt the stiffness of the texture. Suddenly there was a slight discomfort of the skin on his hand that caught him by surprise. A small piece of wood was wedged underneath his skin. The boy panicked, wanting the chip out of himself. Biting aimlessly, Yuuta gnawed at the skin on his hand making him bleed and that made him panic even more.

The bitter taste of his blood and the pain from the wounds scared him. Tears streamed down his face and he collapsed to the ground. He was unable to do anything but bite himself, trying to get the wood out of his body.

Suddenly, in the peripherals of her vision, she saw movement near the trees. Gray eyes blinked slightly. The small woods in the park provided a perfect place for the teens and kids to play around it, but this figure didn't look like they were playing... Or having fun. Tilting her head up slightly and to the side in an inquisitive manor, she walked over in that direction.

Facing the figure full on, she saw it was a male around her age, panicking. True to what Phantom had said, the dude had no idea what he was doing. When she saw the rivets of blood trickling down his skin, a jolt settled in her chest and she was before him in a flash.

"If you keep doing that, you'll loose your hand," she said softly, the light lilt of her tone taking the Irish route of her heritage as she gently removed his hand from his mouth. Through the blood, she could see he had a splinter of wood underneath his skin and she sighed. "Just a bit of bark," she muttered as her slender fingers applied pressure to the right areas, avoiding the bloodied teeth marks. Soon, the splinter was just resting on his skin and she brushed it off.

"There, you go," she said, her tone still containing that soft lilt.

Yuuta stared up at her with big round eyes, filling to the brim with tears. The wounds on his hand were painful, but he was relieved the splinter was no longer a part of him. He stopped crying when he heard her words. He never heard a sound so beautiful he wondered how she was able to make such noise.

He tilted his head slightly, not understanding the meaning of the words from the unknown language. However, Yuuta could feel the gentleness in her voice and it soothed him. He calmed down and wiped his tears with his uninjured hand and stared at her again. His eyes were full of respect and awe.

He used his other hand to support himself so he could stand again. His knees were a bit wobbly, but he had gotten better with his balance. He gripped the tree for support and beamed a smile at the friend he believed he had just made.

Yuuta leaned against the tree so he could place his unharmed hand on the girl's cheek, trying to express the gratitude he felt. He didn't know how he could get his feelings across, so all he could do was softly touch her face and smile softly.

Sorry! Been busy with work. ^^;

Erea's light gray eyes widened briefly when the male in front of her stared at her in respect and awe. Okay... this was a first. Her head cocked to one side as she rose with him, careful to keep one hand on his opposite elbow just in case he lost his balance again. Though, that didn't happen as he leaned against the tree trunk.

He also cupped her cheek with his un-injured hand as a soft smile curved his lips.

He didn't know how to talk?

Erea blinked once, but she did get the feeling of gratitude through these motions. Her own lips curved into a small smile. Then, a thought caught her attention.

"What's your name?" she asked softly.

((That's fine, Dragon-chan.  :)  ))

When the woman returned his smile, Yuuta could feel himself beaming at her once again. Her smile was beautiful, the boy felt mesmerized by it. He could feel the warmth in her touch and smile and thought she had to be a good person.

The lady's mouth moved again, the same beautiful sound escaping from her lips, but he was unable to interpret its meaning. The language was soft and flowed like a song to him. Yuuta's eyes closed and his brows furrowed in deep concentration.

He listened carefully to understand her feelings, but was unable.
Yuuta's smile disappeared. He opened his eyes to stared at her blankly, upset that he couldn't figure out what she was trying to tell him.

Erea cocked her head to one side as she realized he couldn't understand her. Furrowing her brows, she attempted to think of someway to communicate with this strange male. An idea came to the forefront of her mind and she crouched down, picking up a stick as she did.

Using the stick, she wrote "Erea," before pointing to herself.

((That's okay))

Yuuta watched in amazement as the young woman wrote in the dirt with a stick. His eyes widened in surprise as he found the letters familiar. He couldn't understand what the word "Erea" meant, but the letters that made up the word he could recognize.

It confused him even more when she pointed to the word and then herself.

He grabbed himself a stick and slowly lowered himself to the ground. Yuuta scratched a sentence, hoping to express his feelings in such a way.

What is "Erea?"

Erea could've leapt for joy that she found some way to communicate with this male. At least he remembers words and letters. But he was still confused. With a stifled sigh, she responded.

"Me. That's my name. What's your's?"

Resting the stick against her knees she waited for him to reply. As she did so, Phantom spoke to her.

"I contacted your boss at the mechanic and told him you had some personal issues that needed to be dealt with," the Haast Eagle AI informed. Erea acknowledged the news with a slight incline of her head.

The boy paused, his stick hovering over the dirt in concentration. What was a "name" exactly? Although he knew letters and simple words, others were unknown to him and he had to guess their meaning using context clues.

The woman said she was, "Erea", that was her "name". She also asked him what his "name" was. The only thing that made sense to the boy was if that was what she called herself. After all he could already tell from the bustling of people nearby that there were many people. There had to be a way to distinguish between themselves.

The boy scratched the only word that came to mind, a word he couldn't erase from his memory. Something that seemed to linger from his past.

Yuuta

Yuuta?

Her head tilted to one side. It sounded Japanese. Was he? Maybe he wasn't since didn't know how to speak. She rubbed the pads of her first two fingers against her temples as other questions bounded around in her skull.

"What are you doing out here?"

She wrote, bringing attention the question that bounced around in her head the most.

The boy pondered, staring at the question etched into the dirt. To be perfectly honest he didn't know why he was there or who he was. He couldn't remember anything and everything seemed alien to him.

He paused before writing in the dirt, scratching his head.

No idea.

He finished writing and placed the stick on the ground, looking up at the woman's face to beam happily at her. He didn't know why he was there, but he didn't seem to care. Yuuta couldn't fully understand the situation he was in to be nervous or upset about his missing memories.
