The next pup was crowning after a few pushes.  "TAIKOOOO!" Sierra screamed.  The second hurt even more than the first.  How many were there!?!

Nyeia waited.

Taiko rushed over to Sierra "Everything's going to be fine," Was the best he could think of.

(Name options: Isa, Desiree, Avy, I will think of more. I just liked the brown one better. But I change my mind. You should use the white one.)

Such a petty attempt at words! Sierra thought towards Taiko.  Turning to Nyeia, she said, "Aren't you going to HELP?!?" Well... Ok.  Maybe she screamed it...

(Lol...mabeh. Amaranth? Sounds a bit...odd...Gracier? Also different? Snow? Simple...

OMG! Daesiy! bleeeeeeeh.)

"I am helping!" Nyeia snapped. "I think that's the last pup, just push one last time and it should be out!" She was growling.

"Don't you growl at me!" Sierra said.  "I'm still your Alpha!"  She pushed one hard push for the last time.  "Is it out?" she asked hopefully, feeling nothing except for a bit of lasting pain.

(I think I have an idea for the name.)

Nyeia nodded. She broke the pup's sac and set it next to Sierra. "There." She said.

The pups suckled at Sierra's nipples.[Don't. Comment.]  "They're... beautiful," Sierra breathed.  She licked each of them clean, vigorously scraping her tongue across their small, frail bodies.  "What should their names be?" she asked once she was done.  The new mother nuzzled her children.

(It's either Snow or Ice.  Pick whichever.  Or think of something white that's somewhat related to those. xD  I was thinking of doing Frost for a moment, but nahh.)

Taiko looked at the white pup."How about Snow for this one?" Ruko offered. "I'll let you name the gray and white pup.

(No comment )

("Ruko offered"? xD  And what gray and white pup?  Ruko is brown. O.o And ok!  Snow it is!)

"Snow," Sierra spoke softly.  "Perfect.  She nuzzled the pure white pup.  "The brown one shall be... Ruko."  The she-wolf looked up at her mate with sparkling eyes.  She had calmed down from her moody fit earlier.

(:P you know what I meant. and ruko is brownish-gray and white.)

Taiko smiled at Sierra, then looked at the pups. They were perfect.

Nyeia looked at the brownish pup. One of his paw pads was visible, and there was a star shape on it. "What's this?" She padded over to the pup and sniffed the paw pad.

"What?" Taiko was confused.

"Look at the mark on his paw." She said.

"Let me see her paws." Nyeia said. She picked up the white pup, then set her down gently on her back. One of the pup's paws had the same mark. Nyeia suddenly had a flashback.

"Wolves have been dissappearing since I can remember," It was her father's voice. "Only the marked can save us."

Nyeia snapped out of it. "The pups are marked."

Snow squealed.  Why was she on her back? She wanted millkkk!

"What?" Sierra said, in shock.  "What does that mean?"

"Wolves started disappearing in Moonhigh Pack long ago. Nobody seemed to know what caused these vanishings, and gradually the problem began to affect other packs.. Until Moonhigh Pack found out that there was a group of murderers who were out to kill.  But a prophecy tells of a hero - a pup with a star marking on the pad of his paw.  However, two marked wolves have been born.  They will fight against the murderers. This will be an almost impossible task, but there are ancient tales that are very similar to this issue, with 'marked' wolves saving wolfkind. No one knew if the stories are true,  but now the marked pups are our only hope of being saved." She paused. "Snow and Ruko are marked." She picked up Sola and put he back by Sierra. "Sorry." She said.

"Excuse me?" Sierra said.  "Are these pups destined to save our pack from these murderers?" She looked up at Taiko, as if asking for support.  Or at least some sort of feedback or comment.

Taiko didn't know either. He looked to Nyeia.

Nyeia nodded. I'm afraid so."

Taiko nodded. What if they get hurt? "Will they be okay?"

Nyeia was silent. "I don't know. but you should tell the rest of the pack about the new pups."

"Yeah." Sierra said.  "Yeah, we should.  Taiko, would you announce it to the pack?"

Snow snuggled closer to her mother. 

Sierra couldn't help but smile at Snow and Ruko.  They were cute, and her kin, so she couldn't be upset about what was on their paws for long.

Taiko nodded he padded into the center of where the wolves are. "Everyone, listen up!"

Sabine lifted her head. But Sype was nowhere to be seen.
