Kismet grunted again. "You don't know how it is to live your whole life in misery just because some family member killed another one years before." He sat up and let a warm breeze blow through his dark mane. Zallion looked down at the water of the stream, into his reflection. "I feel - and look - halved..." he murmured softly. The young lion got up and walked toward Fang, wondering if he felt the same way he did. ~ Akari looked at her sister. She hesitated at first, the asked, "Do you think Father will let us get married?" She flushed at the word. |

Ignition looked up at Akari and smile. "I just hope that Father will let us choose our partners and that he won't choose for us." she giggled. "I bet he will." Kovu said as he hopped down and walked up to his two daughters.

Akari giggled with Ignition and suddenly stopped when she heard their father's voice. She was surprised, but chuckled softly as she turned to Kovu. "When, Daddy?" she asked, smiling up at him. |

Fang grinned at Zallion's question. "I was planning on heading out tonight, under cover of nighfall, while every one else is asleep." Fang replied with a grin.

Shetani sighed and lied down next to the watering hole, her gaze still slightly on her half blurred reflection.
No one in her ride had come looking for her and for once, she was perfeclty ok with that.
Warm water droplets started steaking down her cheecks... She hated others seeing her cry... Crying to her ment weakness... The reason her pride abandoned her...

Kovu nodded and chuckled lightly. "I'd say yes if I were a lonely lion, but you know your mother is still alive, fortunately." he gently chuckled, and then quit at the thought of his mother. "Father- you do know that Grandmother Zira is gone, don't you?" Ignition asked

Kovu soon shook his head, acknologing the fact that his mother died in the past, and now was not the past. "I'd recomend asking your mother if you may have marrige." he gentley chuckled.

"I thought I'd ask the King for his daughter's paw in marriage." Zallion said, leading the way to the Pridelands. ~ Kiara was overhearing Kovu's and their daughters' conversation. Presently, she walked up to them, and sat beside Kovu. "I think you may, dears." she said, nodding in acknowledgement. She looked at the princesses' father and grinned. Her expressiom said, "I think it's time we choose the future queen." |

Kovu nodded. "But how, my dear?" he whispered, not really sure to choose- he felt Ignition could tune out and sing too much, yet he felt as if he hadn't learned so much about Akari.

Zallion looked across the border, and let out a liny sigh. He hesitantly put a paw on the other side, half expecting a few Prideland lionesses to lunge on him. He withdrew it, feeling uneasy. Never in his life had he crossed the border, and now when he tried, he felt he shouldn't. But he placed the same paw over it again, more confidently this time, and stepped over the imaginary line. Motioning to Fang to follow quietly, Zallion discreetly walked to Pride Rock, feeling like an alien on the unfamiliar land. ~ Kiara looked up at Kovu, smiling gently. "I don't want to choose between our daughters, but the law says it must be done." she whispered back. She gazed at their kids, then sighed. Ignition looked like she could handle responsibility; Akari acted slightly immaturely. She didn't know who to choose. So she looked back up at her mate, feeling tense. "Maybe we should consult the former king?" she suggested in a low voice, although knowing Simba might not be the best person to ask. But he was wise, and as a father, he had been clever in making decisions - well, most of them, anyway. I just hope one wouldn't feel that the other is 'Daddy's and Mommy's favourite' if she gets chosen. |

"Come one, this way, no one will see us though here, we wouldn't want any one being alerted before we get there... Thatt'd ruin the surprise." Fang grinned and veered off into a slightly shadowy area that streatched all the way o pride rock.

Zallion nodded and quietly followed his friend to the great pointy rock. He looked around as they walked. He never expected the Pridelands to be so lush, so beautiful, so unlike the Outlands. So my sweetheart lives here. Halfway to Ignition's den, he stopped to smell a beautiful yellow flower. Zallion plucked it gently. When they reached the Pride Rock, he could smell Ignition, and all the rest. Crouching low, he decided to wait till she discovered him. |
