"It's ok. Didn't remember what?" Alex asked, petting her hair absentmindedly. He didn't understand her half sentences, but if he was helping her at all he was ok with that. He had a good feeling it was about Ranu, Ranu made him so mad! Why couldn't he see what he had here? He took Katana for granted and walked all over her.

"I didnt remember what Kentanu told me..."She then repeated what her brother had told her when she was smaller.Katana felt like she wasnt herself anymore,or at least she had a different perspective.Everything felt strange,she moved closer to Alex and closed her eyes.After a while Katana could think straight again and she was out of her shock."Im probably confusing you..."she told Alex with a small smile."Thanks...for helping me"

"Alex smiled, but it was a sad smile. "Its the least I can do." he told her quietly. "I'll be here whenever you need me." He told her, hugging her. "And don't worry, its easy to confuse me." He smiled for real at that. He just wanted to make her happy again, he hated seeing her this way.

Katana smiled brightly"Okay,Ill keep that in mind.I didnt get to hear that song...."she smiled again"Maybe things will be better now.Thanks to Alex that is!"she thought happily.Then there was a downfall,she wasnt finished with Ranu and she would probably never be able to get him out of her life.Not like he was still gonna be her boyfriend but like,he changed the path of her life.Now that she realized it,things happen for a reason.

He wanted to know what went on between Ranu and Katana but he wouldn't dare ask. He knew that it was a touchy subject and he wasn't all that interested anyways. "I don't think I finished it." Alex said, trying to think back to if he did or not, he had followed Katana. I dedicated it to you though... He thought to himself. "But thats ok... it wasn't all that important anyways." He told her.

"Are you sure?"Katana knew that it was her fault that he didnt finish.She really wanted to hear it.Layna,was usually a very mean judge when it came to music,when Katana saw Layna she didnt look angered or even disgusted.That meant that the song was really good.Katana let out a sigh"Ill be Tana and Kentanu, you can be Tenu!"she remembered her words and let out another laugh.

Katana smiled,the song really was good!She was speechless all she could do was nod at him to continue.She tried to figure out the meaning that the song had, but she was clueless as always.Everything to her was simple.If she would have summed it up it would just be another song.To someone else it might be different.Katana tried not to think this way.Sometimes she tried to find different ways of thinking,only to go back to her regular method."Think outside the box"Is what her cousin Jhonathan always told her.He on the other hand would look at his problems from a different angle and find the good things in the situation.

"Its wonderful!"She exclaimed as she hugged him.She wondered if she should bring up her idea from earlier.As she thought about it she started humming the song that Alex sang.She grasped all of her courage and asked"Can...I show you something?"She hoped that he would say yes.She continued humming the song with her eyes closed."Kentanu...Im sorry..."she whispered quietly.Katana didnt know what she was sorry for,she just felt like she should apologize.

Katana smiled and got up,she walked towards the forest with excitement.When she stepped on the path that was used for walking through the forest she took out her flute and began playing,she danced as she came closer to the trees."Common trees!Dance!"she wailed silently in her head.Katana closed her eyes and when she opened them again the trees were dancing with her.She just smiled and continued like it was normal

(( Sorry, got my laptop taken away~ )) Alex couldn't believe what he was seeing, he opened his mouth to say something but failed. He was speechless. "Uhh..." He managed but that was it. He looked from the trees to Katana and back to the trees again. She acted as if it were completely normal and was going on with it.

pression on his face.When she stopped the trees slowly went back in place.The forest was her sanctuary,a place where she felt free.Her brother was the one who told her about the dancing trees."So,what do ya think?"She asked happily as she put her flute carefully back into her pocket.

Katana sighed,she had expected a different answer but she tried to put herself in his shoes."I look like a freak!!"she wailed silently as she sat down on the gra.ss.When she had first seen the trees dance she just danced with them,no questions were asked and she wasnt the least bit scared."Everyone's reaction will be different"Kentanu's words echoed in her head."Guys!Always ruining the fun!"Katana smiled at that thought for it was Layna's favorite saying.
