When I saw the park in view, I jogged faster so I'd get their faster. When I came through, I walked to the basketball court, seeing Andrew there I did a wave as I walked to him.
"You ready to get creamed?" Andrew asked, with the ball in his hands. It was something they did every year during the summer, to play basketball one on one.
I smiled, and said,
"That's something I should be askin you." And with that, there game started. No time for more small talk.

I smiled as i approached the park entrance. It really was a beautiful day. I walked over to the dog park area and sat down on the bench, watching Mayhem play as he chased the birds and squirrels, then played with all the other dogs. He was happy so in turn I was too. I looked around for Lacy but couldn't find her. "She'd come if she wanted too", I thought. I wasn't the type of person to push someone into doing something. I looked around at all the cute guys around and sighed. "I wish I had a boyfriend", i spoke to myself.

Just as I was about to block a shot from Andrew, I saw a familiar face not to far ahead. I immediately stopped and looked for a moment. Seeing it was my darlin', I said to Andrew,
"Hold on a second." And ignoring the protests, I jogged over to the girl from yesterday.
Wait..
What was her name?
I called her darling to much, that I forgot her actual name. As I shook my head at myself for being so stupid, I said to her,
"Well hey there, darlin'."

I immediately blushed. It was him, and he ws here ? How could I have been so careless as to not survey the area ! I turned around and looked at him. "Hey....sweetheart", I replied daintily. I wasn't sure what to say. I turnedc back to look at Mayhem who was still looking around for squirrels and cats, and other dogs.

I hummed pleasently as I whispered to myself,
"I love it when you call me that.." Before standing beside her and doing a crooked smile.
"You always come by this park? Never seen you before, and I'm always here."

"Oh I was just walking my dog. I'm meeting up with Lacy.", I replied. I was being nice to him. Why was I being nice to him !? Maybe he put a spell on me. I stood there and thought it through but nothing added up. I guess I was just being nice to him. I smiled back and decided I could have fun with this. "Yeah, you must love being sweetheart, huh baby?", I teased. I giggled a bit on the inside. Suddenly Lacy came running up. She backed off a bit, seeing as him and I were talking. I shook my head.

"Lacy? Oh, that girl that you wanted to be partners with, but instead, got blessed with me?" I laughed to myself, not caring how offensive that should seem for I wasn't feeling rejected at Cassies rejection.
"And, yes darlin', I admit I love being called that." Seeing Lacy come by, I stepped toward her once with a polite, crooked smile.
"You Lacy? Hi. I'm taking Cassie's company for the day..." I started, while grabbing the leash off of Cassies hand, keeping her hand in mine while my other hand had the leash, handing it to Lacy.
"So, if you could be a dear, take her home?" as I squeezed Cassie's hand.

I blushed. "Yeah... right", I giggled to myself. I couldn't help but feel a slight attraction towards him, and strangely enough I really liked it. Lacy came trotting as he took his hand in mine. My heart began to beat faster. I looked at him weirdly as if Lacy was going to take Mayhem home just like that. "Ummmm Lacy you don't have to I can take Mayhem home.", I spoke nervously, still nervous about his hand in mine. I couldn't help but look at Lacy and her hand was gripped tightly onto Mayhem's leash. She looked at me as if to say she was fine with taking the dog home.

"No Cassie it's ok ! I can do it !", she spoke in a high tone. I couldn't help but thank her by nodding my head. It was like we had telepathy. She was praising me. "Good job Cassie. I'll take the dog home and you and hottie here go have a good time. Not TOO much of a good time though", I thought she was thinking. At least that's what perception I got. She trotted off with Mayhem and i looked at him.

When Lacy and the dog, Mayhem, were gone, I squeezed her hand again gently.
"Come with me, honey." Not like she had a choice, since I kept our hands collapsed. I lead her up to the court, where Andrew waited.
"Hey. Change of plans." I said as I made little circles with my thumb on Cassies hand. "I'm going to take Cassie out. Tomarrow, same time?"
Andrew did a cocky smile while saying,
"Your just finding a way out of our game, because you knew I'd win."
Laughing at his comment, I started leading Cassie the other way while I said,
"No. I was just saving you from getting your butt kicked."
Leaving a defeated Andrew at the court, I pulled her along as I started conversation.
"Sorry taking you from Lacy." I lied. I wasn't sorry, I was getting what I wanted. "Just wanted to be able to call you darlin' some more." I said with a wink. I actually meant, I just wanted to spend time with her. "I was thinking maybe we do something a bit more date- like, this time. What good movies are at the theatres lately?" She didn't have a choice to not go on a date with me, that was self explainatory.

I watched as Lacy jogged away and felt him squeeze down on my hand. I blushed as he led me over to the courts. I looked as Andrew and him talked. I couldn't help but laugh at Andrew's comment about him being scared to get beat. I became a bit more serious when he mentioned the thought of going out. I blushed a bit more, getting nervous, as usual. I couldn't help but become nervous. I fidgeted a bit standing where I was." Oh Lacy yeah umm no it's fine. She seemed eager to go anyways.", I spoke. I was too nervous, but I couldn't figure out why. I smiled as he spoke of being called Darlin'. I liked the name darlin. I smiled even more when he winked at me. I flashed one of those come and get me grins but I don't think it worked very well. He mentioned the movies but my thoughts totally skipped me. "Oh umm I don't really know of any good movies playing lately. I don't watch much T.V so...", I laughed a bit.

Her reactions to me were priceless. I always loved girls reactions to my flirting, but Cassie was adorable.
"Well, if you don't watch T.V. much, lets go someplace and watch it."
Before she could accept or decline, I started down the sidewalk, heading towards my house.
"My house is only a couple blocks away. I usually jog down, but that would mean letting go of your hand." I did a smile in her direction before looking straight again.

I watched him and before I could say anything he had me by the hand again, leading me down to his house. I didn't look a convict did I ? I was being held prisoner by this guy, but for some reason, I didn't mind at all. I blushed slightly as he threw me a smile. I looked at all the houses as we walked by. They looked so nice and quiet. This area was typically quiet, but yet so was mine as well. They were almost identical. I sighed in my head, thinking that maybe he actually liked holding my hand. I smiled at the thought of it.

When they reached his home, I reluctantly let go of her hand as I unlocked the door and went inside.
"Parents aren't home." I said casually, as I opened the door for her to come in. I was starting to think she was liking my attention as much as I was liking hers seeing as she hasn't rejected me yet. Smirking at the thought, I waited for her to go inside the warm home.

I walked in and was greeted with openess. The house was so warm and cheerful, filled with yellows and soft natural colors. I instantly felt happy. I looked up at him and smiled. "Wow it's nice in here", I awed. I was ecstatic that his parents weren't home because I didn't like meeting new parents. I looked at all the curtains and flowers, the potpourrie and paintings. "Wow... it's so amazing.", I smiled from ear to ear.

Feeling myself for the first time with her blush, I said,
"So you like it?" while leading her farther in the foyer and to the living room, and around to the kitchen.

"Yeah i love it", I smiled. The kitchen was beautiful with real marble countertops, a huge stainless steel fridge and everything. The living room had a nice brownish leather couch with a huge 50 inch flat screen hooked up onto the wall and gorgeous paintings everywhere. She sat down on the couch for a minute then stood back up and looked at him. "It's realyl nice', she answered again.

Doing a sheepish smile, I replied
"Thanks." as I went deeper in the kitchen.
"You hungry?"

"Oh ummm no thanks.", i replied. I honestly wasn't hungry. i wasn't hungry because I was so nervous ! We were in his house alone. I was kinda freakihng out but I kept my cool and followed him around his house a bit more. I loved his house, and it looked strangely similar to mine. I smiled back at him.
